Linda, Jim & Rebecca helped take the mystery and fear out of a Federal retirement. I had received their card from my neighbor, who was getting things lined up to retire soon and talked highly , of the advice and services, he had received there. It took me about a year to make the appointment with them. I was busy, with the hassle, of dealing with Office of Personnel Management, buying my military and temporary civilian time, to add to my total service time. Once that was done, I made an appointment to go see them. I took in the paperwork they needed and we sat down to discuss monthly money needed, retirement plans and goals. They ran the retirement annuity estimates and took the guesswork out of it, made me see that it was really possible! They helped fill out all the retirement paperwork, answered all my questions, double checked everything before sending it off to OPM. What a relief! If you every looked at the paperwork that needs to be filed, for a Federal retirement, you know what I mean. My retirement application went through, with no issues, because of Foster Financials’ attention to paperwork accuracy. The big day finally arrived and because of Jim, Linda, and Rebecca’s financial advice and support, I knew everything was going to be okay. They’ve helped me after retirement, with handling the transfer, of my TSP money, by asking more financial questions and suggestions on how to safely reinvest it, for future financial security. Retirement was a big and fright filled event, but because of Foster Financial walking me through the process, answering all questions, and providing me with great solid financial advice, it wasn’t as scary as I had imagined.
