Symbol of American capitalism and prosperity. Magnificent building. I miss the old floor with open outcry. Electronic trading is not one bit romantic!
It's a very cool place to visit. If you like financial markets, you'll see a lot to enjoy.
A big tree and coming events here!
The most famous financial building of the world! Was a thrilling experience.
It is a gabbling tgey all steal your money and charge you fees to steal your money NEW YORK STOCKBEXCHANGE SHOYOD GET 25% RETURN EVERY YEAR.INVESYERS STEAL OLD PEOPLE MONEY.
Cool place to see, lots of money being exchanged here on a daily basis.
Biggest gambling institution in the world
Ever wonder why fund managers can't beat the S&P 500? 'Cause they're sheep—and the sheep get slaughtered
The New York Stock Exchange (abbreviated as NYSE and nicknamed "The Big Board") is an American stock exchange located at 11 Wall Street, Lower Manhattan, New York City, New York. It is by far the world's largest stock exchange by market capitalization of its listed companies at US$21.3 trillion as of June 2017. The average daily trading value was approximately US$169 billion in 2013. The NYSE trading floor is located at 11 Wall Street and is composed of 21 rooms used for the facilitation of trading. A fifth trading room, located at 30 Broad Street, was closed in February 2007. The main building and the 11 Wall Street building were designated National Historic Landmarks in 1978.
First time walking the streets in New York and all by accident I see this awesome building. I had no idea it was the New York Stock Exchange until I read what it said on it, wow!
A quick pic of the entrance and you've covered this place. Not much to see... run along and get a slice of pizza.
Big bronze statue of bull. 10/10
cool place they have very tasty sudanese food and the service picks their noses
Was fortunate enough to be invited for a tour. It was like going back in time and seeing how trading used to be done! It's almost all electronic now. Had a fairly good lunch as well. Watching the folks on the faux balcony at the closing bell was awesome as well! If you can get an invite, got for it. I got mine from my brokerage house.
Good. High-tech home of one of the world's leading financial markets; closed to visitors without permits.
Full of history You have to see it
The building is picture-worthy for its architecture and significance as a financial center. And that's all there is to it. You can't really go in as a visitor, which would have been nice if only to see the drama and chaos that is the stock market.
I feel for the traders that work here as there are so many tourists myself included.
nice Building. high security. small road. busy people
Enjoyed seeing an icon in NYC, but disappointed that the beautiful architecture was almost entirely obscured by an obnoxious advertisement. Cool to see Fearless Girl there, though.
0/10, no corn dogs.
The big board is for exchange of the stock
I would have loved to be a fly on the wall inside this building during peek hour. The construction going on all around the entrance made it hard to get to even if you wanted to actually go in. Then you will have get passed the security guards only letting workers in.
Great place to take pictures
it´s a must see spot in you travel to New York. Located in wall street, and the center of world´s financial trades. Recommended.
The cold chill spread down my spine. The darkness began to creep out from the corners of this soulless monument as I quickly passed by the belly of the beast. In haste my steps quickened as the shadows began following me, gaining, fighting against the light that tried keeping them away. My footsteps echoed from the buildings as my heart raced. Could it be escaped before it collapses around us, again. A whisper is heard in the wind, "Soon, soon."

2008 was fun.
Nice building. Tight security.
I was living rich until 1929 everything change I had to sell everything...
Cool sight! A bit weird they have a giant Snapchat banner obstructing the famous building. Influencing Snapchats stock too? hmm
Interesting.. nice to walk but not much to see
Interesting, nice views
My favourite place in New York City. I love this place and I hope I will get a job here and I will establish a firm here.
I've been to NYC a bunch of times. Never saw the stock exchange. Went up in the Empire State Building. Went to Central Park. I even went to Macy's. My favorite was the food vendors. First time to NY was 1979. Last time was 2013.
Sock exchange? Why does anybody want to do that?
To be honest, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) was really not that impressive when I visited it the first time (or any of the subsequent visits). Actually... I've never actually visited the NYSE because in order to get into the building, you will need a special visitor pass. The whole area is extremely restricted to traffic and almost to the point of difficult to locate due to the extreme security measure in place. One of the perks of the restricted traffic in the area is that it's extremely easy and safe to get a photo with the NYSE building.

Just walking through Wall Street, breathtaking and amazing. Wish I can work there in a firm or something like that. Thank you New York and America for many things. You've blew my mind!!
Interesting area in general. Good to see at least once. Federal Hall is right next to it as well. For those who don't know NYC, you cannot drive into this area, you must walk.
Have a quick look and photo outside, together with Federal Hall and the Morgan building where they filmed Batman.
This is such a great place to see if you want to view some amazing structure. Make sure you bring your camera, friends, and family. Vist the famous bull and have something great to eat. Your all the way down town so make the best of it.
So much energy
Nice facade of the building.
G.O.D. is in full control of the Prosperity of the United States of the Americas.
If NYSE sneezes the entire world catches a cold :)
It was a very surreal feeling to be here. We thought it was going to be busier as shown in the movies but there were barely anyone on the streets. We went on a weekday during business hours and was kind of quiet for the most part. It was still impressive to see the buildings.
Beautiful Place in New York...
Day before new year. Awesome Christmas tree.
The New York Stock Exchange is a beautiful and classic structure. Not much to see from the outside; Surrounding buildings include historical sights and two museums. Best time to visit is Mon - Fri from 9AM to 4PM, when everything is open.
Nice building
hi my name is bhanuprkash exilent world stock market and us is great
Historical place and heavily guarded. Tourists can’t go inside the building until have proper permission. The New York Stock Exchange building was designated National Historic Landmarks in 1978. Nothing much to do there, we clicked few photographs and walked for next attraction.
During the day, this area is very busy with lots of pedestrian foot traffic. It's a very historical area with character. There's a lack of seating, but there's some pedestrian benches. I mostly visit at night when it's quiet. The area is very secure due to the 24/7 security for the Stock Exchange.
It was a dream of mine to be there once and I made it a reality this year! I live Wall st. It's a place with such energy, gosh!!!
Great place lots of things to look at and very expensive too haha
We went at night and it wasn't crowded at all. The exchange per say was closed of course, but it's still impressive just walking around. The fearless girl is really powerful in some ways, facing that incredible building!
Great
So basically, Stonks
It's an interesting site to see. Wish there were more areas to sit and take it all in. Maybe someday they will offer public tours. Would love to see it in action
Iconic financial center, a magnificent building with security needs sadly making it off limits.
Biggest stock exchange
My first love
Cool column
Just walked by. So cool to see in person.
Didn't get to see inside but it was nice to see.
Very enlightening place for historical and present-day Financial market for New York City a great deal of people have come to this significant historic area to see the sight of what runs the walls Financial market today it is amazing to see how many people depend on this facility and how it manages today's markets and financial institutions
I recall Rage Against the Machine preforming here back in the day. There's a great cigar shop around the corner of this place. I do think this is an iconic place to visit when in NYC but at the end of the day it is a place of work so don't expect any disney rides!
Every year the tree outside the NY Stock Exchange is beautiful.
COOL Place to be.
Exciting place for stock brokers and financial enthusiasts who love buying or selling stocks.cool place to know about market trends.Lots of people inside.
New York stock exchange is the busiest place we can visit in NYC after time square of course!
Great tourist spot downtown Manhattan
It's cool that the street is closed for pedestrians but sucks that they don't offer a tour. But it's still place to visit while in ny
Have: 6 cups homemade beef stock Seeking: 10 cups canned chicken stock do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers
Nothing here to do but take a picture and say you went.
Can’t wait to see it!
Nice place.
High security to get in but super interesting on the inside
Nice historic building. Love New York's architecture.
If you ever have the opportunity to walk the floor it is well worth it. There may no longer be the shouting and paper flying from decades ago, but still interesting to see the trading capital of the world and know you're right in the middle of it all.
There used to be a tour that bring people in, but that is canceled indefinitely for security reasons, which kidda sucks
Great architecture in the financial capital of the world. It was closed during my visit but was able to click few pictures from the outside.
Building looks cool but nothing else to do
A magnificent building and inalienable institution.
This is a cool place to visit, however a tour of the building would make this a must see attraction. It is amazing to be around the building where trillions of dollars move everyday. It seems simply here but it is a major place to be.
Not open to public unless you book ahead. Not very interesting to tourists.
Nice place to take a couple of pictures and get something to eat nearby.
Im the one helping shark tank im the co owner instagram 4.50
Best in house electricians of all time. Really great lighting in the event spaces. The Trade floor is really cool too.

Wall Street is the leading US money center for international financial activities and the foremost US location for the conduct of wholesale financial services. "It comprises a matrix of wholesale financial sectors, financial markets, financial institutions, and financial industry firms" (Robert, 2002). The principal sectors are securities industry, commercial banking, asset management, and insurance. Prior to the acquisition of NYSE Euronext by the ICE in 2013, Marsh Carter was the Chairman of the NYSE and the CEO was Duncan Niederauer. Presently, the chairman is Jeffrey Sprecher. In 2016, NYSE owner Intercontinental Exchange Inc. earned $419 million in listings-related revenues.
Incredible in-person experience. Been trading online for years, being there was offered an extreme all-natural high. Get rich slowly does not apply here.
Best arrenging of christmas trees. Just like it
A must visit
5 stars for finance getting festive at Christmas time.
Five stars, not for anything related to the function of the New York Stock Exchange, but for the iconic and highly picturesque urban scenery in front of the stock exchange. Classic buildings, narrow and busy streets, concrete canyons--there are few more metropolitan locales than the facade of the New York Stock Exchange. Great spot for photographs and enjoyment of the architecture.
The world's most important Stock Exchange.
The NSE is super cool if you visit inside. I was invited as guest entrepreneurs for a closing bell ceremony. Each of us where given a gold plated tag engraved with our names, limited edition collectors coin, and we enjoyed a cocktail hours in a lounge. We were greeted warmly and treated with poise through the moments where we were lead onto the trading floor. It was such a cool experience— only things is the floor is more empty than movies I grew up watching (like trading places) as trading is all electronic now.
Large, beautiful building but not much to see otherwise. I would not suggest to travel down to Wall St just for this. No tourists allowed inside based on Google search.
Still waiting on my BAC to eventually start climbing back to the share prices if previous times which had more similarity to the $65 share price other banks are still commanding.. I'm glad I dumped News corp but an idiot for selling my Dire TV shares a few years back due to the sharp and steady increase in value they've enjoyed since and then being bought by Telecommunication giant AT&T. RAMBLE ON I shall.
It is not fun or anything
The city did a great job of making the NYSE a better place for tourists to visit. Certain streets are now inaccessible to cars which is a good thing. You can now take pictures without having to worry about being runned over or bumping into someone. The only thing missing is the public restroom...
2008 was fun
I went there just for curiosity and it was ok, nothing more than that. Too much police, I went at 9am of a week day in order to look caos but I didn’t find that. The good thing was that the little girl statue is in front of the building now, well done, nice idea! I recommend to go early to look the building and then check the rest of things in low Manhattan.
Being interested in stocks, I wanted to see the bull and NYSE. At last I visited the NYSE. The structure is great. The roads being narrow, got to struggle to take good selfies with the structure. But I will relish the experience.
The building is beautiful and has an important meaning but you can not visit it.
so existing and my blood pressure was up just looking at it, the investment memory came back, you know i mean, right? haha.. best time to visit is on Sunday morning along with the trinity chapel, only 3 min walking distance!
The birthplace of American capitalism. A must see sight.
It's very nice around here because you can walk the streets. Always wanted to see the area because it's so important and on so many movies. I liked it.
Beautiful and famous building. It's awesome to walk on Wall Street and all of a sudden see the Exchange appear stunningly.
Hope they will add activities in here so i stay more in the area. Being in the world largest financial center will motivate you to do more and more.
Lots of tourists and a first hot dog stall, but it’s in the movies and so go see it can. Definitely atmospheric.
The center of world's financial activity. It is the world's largest stock exchange by market capitalization of its listed companies. It is a place where buyers and sellers trade shares of stock in companies registered for public trading. NYSE is also referred to as "the Big Board".Though inside of the building is no more accessible to public but one can get entry if you know somebody who works here.An ideal place to take tons of pictures.
Financial capital of the US This place is heavily guarded. Not much to see as you cannot enter inside. Good for the Photo op. This is where all the money is made on stocks and us always hear about it It's fun to see and to also get a photo of the Wall Street sign. Well worth the time. In Christmas time, they decorate it really well. I have been there 5-6 times and I find it amusing every time. Wall Street, the federal hall is right there. Wish I Could Have Toured the Inside
If you have a chance to visit, do. Its fascinating. Not as it used to be 100 years ago maybe but its exciting to walk on the trading floor. It was more quiet than I expected. This exchange is such an important institution, and if you can visit, I'm sure there will be some piece of knowledge that you will find intriguing.
Landmark. I own some of assets of NYSE corps so it is great.
You know it. It's about money
Loud. Very loud.
A nice place to relax and walk around and sight see. The road is closed off to traffic so you don't have to worry about getting hit by a car while taking a picture. The only thing is that they don't have a public restroom so pee first and then sight see.
Father Christmas Is Here Sara.

Nice views, not heavily crowded. Christmas holiday season is best time to visit.
The New York Stock Exchange has been the gateway to generations of epic adventures and breakthroughs, helping companies raise the capital that raises the world. The NYSE owned by Intercontinental Exchange, an American holding company that it also lists. Previously, it was part of NYSE Euronext (NYX), which was formed by the NYSE's 2007 merger with Euronext. Beautiful place to be
Really iconic location, which undoubtedly makes it an awesome experience. Try to go here in the morning or afternoon. The middle of the day seemed a lot busier, with a lot more people walking around and crowding what is somewhat of a small area.
Visited in 2013 there are better places to visit in NY the Statton island ferry is a must do and is free and close.
Excited place just waking down the street, busy place people keep walking from all the directions
An icon of Wall St in NYC. Fearless girl is currently held here facing the building.
toppppp
I really wish I knew how to use stocks and junk
Very famous building of NYC known around the world. Not as crowded as you would expect and overall the place looks better in winter with a Christmas tree in front of the building.
Cool place cuz when you get here, you're actually in Wall Street where the economically important street in NY. And here those road are closed. So, you will see everyone cross streets and more specific is walking on the street! Which is totally not like my expectation.
It was good.
Nice area to take a walk. Not heavily crowded, like others said there's some construction right now. I visited during Christmas/ new years and saw the tree.
So much history in tgat little area. Defiantly worth checking out.
Nice place for photos
Manhattan is beautiful place and the New York Stock Exchange is massive incensing
Very special place love it!
Romania Festival feast today come and njoy!!!
It's not a place to visit really, it's all about Stock's!!! Woohoo!
Extremely busy and sometimes so chaotic, a nice experience to discover. Too vibrant a stock exchange indeed.
I used to live at Wall Street. It's always comfortably warm there if you have a wool blanket. There is a lot of noise, especially during liberal freak-outs and then it can be a little hard to sleep. If you are drunk, or are under the influence of powers beyond your control, be careful. All the streets look the same and at night there is no one to ask for directions. Literally no one. The streets are totally empty at night and it is incredibly eerie. Especially if you are lost and stoned. You will walk in circles for at least an hour and be incredibly unsure of the reality of the world while it happens. Suddenly you will find a Subway that somehow takes you exactly where you need to go. In short: Never build a city.
If you did your homework, this place is illuminated.
A must see in New York City. Obviously didn't go inside, but imaging the chaos inside there is crazy. Beautiful architecture on this building is great for some photos as well. Must see!
I have made my fortune here - 1000 mil. I am the Wolf. The only one! You know what i mean. Wish you all the best! PS. Hard work though. Donate your replies at BTC 1MFG2KozCfeVLrg46hcggCQsrVr696824e
Incredible building. It was a shame it was closed when we could fit this in. But we feel it didn't take away from the impact of the building. There wasn't too much of a crowd so photos were easy. It had a little Christmas treat there too for the season
Iconic point in NYC for tourists. Have visited inside as well for a client. Must stop for anyone visiting New York.
Worth a visit to see the hustle and bustle
IF YOU CANNOT MAKE MONEY WALL STREET YOUR LIFE IS DOOMED FOREVER. I LOVE THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE. VERY SOON I'LL BE THERE. JUST WAIT AND WATCH.
Must see. Nice Christmas tree during the holidays. A lot of construction in the area, but you can still snag some nice photos.
Marvelous building.
The building still looks as good as ever. One of the leading finance centres of the world. However, on this trip I was very disappointed to learn that the general public are no longer allowed in the building. On my previous visits, you were able to go into the visitors centre and watch the stock exchange at work and purchase some gifts afterwards. Sadly, you can no longer do this.
I figure that when the market is high like this that the MILLENNIAL's that are trading do not know what they are doing because the new tax laws they put in place are for the rich and favor the rich everything that is being put in place in the stock market is a good thing rite now it is not in there coming years. Trump and congress did this for themselves. The poor are gonna get poorer and the middle class are gonna suffer. That's what they said take from the poor and give to the rich real good motto. It should be the other way around but greed is here to stay.
An American icon
I loved the fierceness of the fearless girl statue and the fact that the ongoing trading price could be seen outside the NYSE building.
Index stock John bogle
