Daniel Oquinn

Extremely slow responses and a simple wire that I was told would be completed in 3 hours is delayed more than 2 days with zero customer service. Very disappointed, would not trust keeping money with Fidelity again.

Emilio Schmidt

Opened up an account with them with no trouble

Arun Nagappan

Very poor service front desk

peter hillman

Met here with Bryan Sintay, took him maybe 10 minutes to help remove an "advisor" and show me how to navigate my portfolio. Thank you Bryan! I'm killing it now, all on my own, no fees to someone far away who doesn't care about my money.

Keith Bockmann

They are pukes! Twice I updated my address they sent two checks to the wrong address. My money! They even sent me two email confirmations that they got my new address. Still sent it to the wrong address. 4 states away I had to drive 1200 miles just to get my own money. I wouldn't invest with them again they dont know what they are doing.

David Schendel

Very friendly and professional service at the front counter for my walk-in visit.

Patrick McCauley

Visit was fast and efficient. My Money manager listened to what I needed to do and guided me through the process and executed as I needed.

Chris Johnson

The representatives at this branch are extremely knowledgeable but, they do not have the ability to draw cash so being a member of fidelity only allows you to withdraw $500.00 a day at most.

Ruth Abbott

Been on hold for 20 minutes and still holding. Why would I invest with a company that can't afford to hire adequate number of representatives to handle the phone calls.

P Anderson

Ian Johnston

Hey, they locked me out of my account due to some weirdness, made me come to the site at Salt Lake City. It was fine, I actually appreciate them keeping my money safe. Talked to Jordan and she was just the nicest lady. Made me fee special even though I have a 100 dollar IRA with them. I hope these guys are as legit as they act.

Vlad Martz - The Vladfather

The folks here have been extremely kind and informative. My first time getting into investing, and I was pointed to the proper people! Extremely grateful!

Adam Guerriero

Horrible customer service. Takes forever to get someone on the phone

this facility they don't know anything, we been there with id. they luck account, and they don't know left or right. talking a lot but not doing like they talk

Drew Jackson

good place to drop off some paperwork rather than mailing it to the Ohio processing center. wish their commissions on trades were $1 instead of $4.95 coming and going. ;-) oh well. 4 stars for that, suggestion: maybe military & veterans discounts or senior citizen 55+ discounts on trades for those with less than $1 million in assets. Happy Investing.

The online trading platform of Fidelity frequently breaks down (it happened just now) and by the time it comes up, the buying/selling opportunity is gone. It is not expected from a trading platform from a renowned organization like Fidelity that their online trading goes offline so frequently! I had to open another trading account with a different company so that I don't miss out any buying/selling opportunity just because Fidelity's system is down. Other than this, I am extremely happy with Fidelity - their products, analytics and services are great ... actually one of the best around!

Lori Evans

I was unaware that check deposits can be made into personal checking accounts with fidelity at their investment offices. This is extremely helpful since there are no branches in the area. The staff was very friendly. They have beverages and snacks for customers and they offer to assist with investment portfolios and accounts. I definitely recommend their office!

Joy Kennedy

This company is a piece of work. I had two accounts with them, and they kept screwing with my account. Now I just called and they closed my account with money in the account - because after calling four times and the last rep said just to call back and the notes would be in my account. After I called in there were no notes. I responded with, "I can not keep calling back and receive different information, I will have to call back", and hung up. When I got home I called in and they closed my two accounts, with no explanation or anything. I asked to speak to a supervisor, they respond with "no" , then I say, "can I speak with the department or person whom closed", again, "no". Do not deal with this company with personal account, business accounts or retirement. They are completely out of line and I will continue to blog, review and tell everyone about this instance.

Kelly Michael Skelton

Nice office, friendly and helpful staff.

Popped in while out running errands with my girlfriend. I was walking past the store wearing my street casual clothes and while I understand this isn't business professional attire I wasn't checking up on a job application, I hadn't even applied yet, I was just asking questions. I graduate in 6 months and so I thought this would be a convenient time to pop in and ask what their salary was like and what jobs are available with a bachelor's degree. The fellow who answered my questions wasn't rude but he wasn't helpful either. He told me that people with a bachelor's degree normally start at the call center across the street and then they hire them over as needed. I was kind of surprised that this would be the track for a bachelor's degree. After all I spent nine years getting my Bachelor's in economics (paying your own way without much familial support can be daunting) and I have substantial skill with investments. I made a 350% total return this year on my stocks in my individual account. I've been investing on my own as an individual for about 4 or 5 years while in college, honing my skills and preparing for a career in finance. When I ask what the typical salary was he whispered $50,000 or thereabouts to me and when I pressed him for what kind of bonus pay or Commission was average for this location or for Fidelity in general he refused to answer saying he didn't know. He was pretty unresponsive to most of my questions about what kind of salary I could look at. I got the impression he didn't take me serious and thought I was wasting his time and there is definitely a very dismissive attitude to my questions. Told me that they didn't have any positions available right now even though I explicitly told him I wasn't looking for a job until after I graduate in 6 months, just asking questions. Guess where I won't be working after I graduate? I'll take my superior investing acumen and go somewhere else. I can literally add tremendous value to a company through larger-than-average returns. I have a rare skill set and as such I should be treated with respect and not treated as if I'm just some homeless guy who walked in. People reading this may think I have an over inflated sense of self-worth. But when you've spent nine years getting a bachelor's degree in a challenging field you're entitled to feel accomplished and deserving of being taken seriously. That and the fact that you made 350% earlier this year.

Tried for 20 minutes to reach any contact at this branch with no success and no answering machine. Shoddy service. I gave 2 stars simply because Fidelity central office is still helpful.

Lingao7

We have been a client of fidelity for many years and have always been happy with this branch office services. However, this afternoon, we went into this branch office to enquire about a particular product that fidelity offered. A front desk lady told us to look for help online or call 800 numbers and there was no one in this branch available to help us (she was not able or not willing to help). She was busy in and out and we were left in cold. This is the first time that we are turned away by this office since it opened here. It seems to me that this office is too busy to help its long time clients any more. It is a lesson learned and we have to reconsider our portfolio/asset management allocations.

I have tried to call this office 3 times. Twice on Friday 11/16. The 1st time I waited on hold for 50 minutes, no one answered. 2nd time over 30 minutes, then I realized it was past 5:00 which is closing time. Today Monday 11/19 I waited 25 minutes, nothing. I guess I'll have to drive 30+ miles to the office. I left a message on the internet for someone to call me. Can't help but wonder if I'll ever get that call. No posting of a local #, the only # I can find is an 800. Needless to say I'm less than impressed with Fidelity's "Customer Service".

Ruby Musser

I don’t have a ton of money for this company to handle but they act like I’m an important client and have taken such good care of my small nest egg, they get 5 stars from me. Thank you all.

The staff is knowledgeable and customer service is great but I don’t appreciate the fast food counter experience they have set up. To walk in and have to discuss private financial matters with strangers to the side of me is unacceptable.

Extremely unhelpful (and I'm a client). Provided incorrect information and once it became apparent, couldn't have cared less. edit: This review is for this location only and not Fidelity as a whole. Their phone support is actually great. I try my best to avoid this branch. If I have to go in for some reason, I'll go to another branch. edit 2: Should be zero stars. Their phone service sucks also, now. Just terrible. If moving accounts wasn't such a hassle, I'd be gone.

Outstanding first time experience! I manage a small retirement account with them and although they definitely will not give personal opinion, they will gladly walk you through learning how to use their research tools. I am planning a second trip to have them print my tax documents as well. The personal service made me feel that my pennies were valued and that not only super wealthy are treated well.

Still trying to set up an investment club account after 4 weeks. After having multiple visits and filling out paper work multiple times per their direction as well as getting signatures from all of our members and getting our check mailed back to us twice, they have yet to actually open our account successfully. Their complete incompetence has now lost us gains we would've made based on the trades we wanted to make weeks ago.

Evan Glassman

I just started an account with them, and so far so good. Andrew Emmonds was very responsive, knowledgeable, and helpfu,l working on moving and investing my monies.

Mike Sicard

I was on hold for nearly 30 minutes. Finally, Lukas answered and his response was "it has been a busy day" and didn't apologize for the long wait time - seemed to be in a rush. In a customer service industry, I was surprised at the inability to simply be courteous. I was not impressed and it seems consistent among others who are leaving reviews about this branch. I'll happily take my trades elsewhere.

Fidelity was supposed to update my employment status as my former401k plan admin is not doing it. It's been a month and a half since I started the process. They said it would take 10 days. I'm in the process of filing a consumer complaint with the State of Oregon.

Called Fidelity in Burlington MA to set up a Roth IRA..new customer. First a VERY Rude computer voice (can you believe that) told me to enter a User Name or Soc. Sec.# . I am trying to become a customer so don't have user name and certainly am not going to "enter my Soc Sec #) said "representative" enough times (even when canned voice became belligerent!) I was left on hold for 20 mins with, believe it or not ,that Voice came on about 40 times asking me to please hold on and my call will be answered as soon as possible. I felt like it was 2001! this is Fidelity for Gods sake! I'll take my business elsewhere.

Ben Despain

They charged me for things without telling me (e.g. $50 to close my $250 IRA). Made it difficult to leave when I wanted to leave. Not this particular location, the corporation.

Susan Moore

Fidelity has helped me reach my financial goals through regular monitoring, forecasting, and adjustment. Their management fees on mutual funds are nil or non-existent compared to other funds that charge 1 or 2 percent. Fidelity provides the opportunity to invest in over ten thousand mutual funds, theirs and others. I meet with my adviser once every six months and go prepared with pertinent questions concerning the market outlook and my own financial outlook. We work as a team.

I would give no stars if i could. They have no idea what they're doing. I've wasted countless hours getting a business account set up. The management at this location is absolutely clueless. Maybe you'll have better luck at a different branch but avoid this one. Otherwise I'd recommend going with a different broker all together.

Poor leadership and fund management. They transferred my non vested . The company automatically transferred to another bank without authorization. Be aware, do not invest anything with this company.

My husband and I had an appointment at 3:30 today with Wendy Wells. When we arrived she was seeing somebody else and didn’t end their meeting time until 4 PM. While we were waiting we let the receptionist know a couple times that we were in the waiting area, and asked how much longer it would be. The receptionist told us that she knew we were here. When Wendy came out of her appointment, she did not even acknowledge my husband and I, but just simply left her door open and then sat back down on her computer. We thought this was rude and decided that it wasn’t best practice to do business with someone who operated like this. We let the receptionist know why we were leaving, and the receptionist just shrugged as if there was nothing she could do about it. As we were walking out the door, Wendy came out and said hi to us as if she just noticed us. In our opinion this was not good business practice, or someone that we would want to take advice on where to invest our money at. Thank you for showing us your true colors, we will take our business elsewhere

Came here to drop off some paperwork after months of trying to get the right paperwork from them for opening accounts for my wife and me. Middle of the day and there's only one person at the counter so I wait 20 minutes for him to deal with the person in front of me before telling me the person who told me to come by and drop off papers with them wasn't there today but he'd pass them along. When the person got the papers, she realized some other papers she said we could handle online would also need to be filled out, which she would have known had she paid attention to any of the previous back and forth. So we closed our accounts and moved them to Vanguard.

Fidelity investments is one of the top investment firms in the US I believe their third rated by asset value. This particular brick and mortar store provide service as well as investment advice. I have had my investments with Fidelity for over 26 years.. During that time, I have only been to a Fidelity office three times. Once was in New York to deposit a check, the other two times were at the Franklin TN office. After my experience dealing with Luke at the front counter in Franklin, I am ready to close my account. I needed to go to the Fidelity office to wire money to Mexico since I am planning to purchase property there. During my first visit, Luke acted like it was a big inconvenience to send the wire. Given the difficulty he was having, I sensed he did not do this often. I returned two weeks later to send money to a different account in Mexico that I would use to purchase the property when it was time to close on the deal. Unfortunately, Luke was still working the counter. He again seemed bothered that I came to the store and said in an accusatory tone : "How many accounts do you have in Mexico"? Then he asked what the money was used for because "people" questioned him after the last transaction. I said "I told you the purpose during my last visit". Then I asked what he said. He responded "To help a friend in Mexico pay bills". If he forgot, why not say he didn't remember. At this point, I was very upset and said no, it was to purchase property like I told you. He said, "we'll I didn't remember because I do a lot of wire transfers".. Really, based on his lack of competence, I would say he doesn't do many. I have received far better customer service at banks where I carry a fraction of the amount I have with Fidelity. I see no point doing business with a company that treats its customers so rudely.

Devin Rodriguez

They were great with helping me with the changes I needed to make to my accounts.

This Fidelity Investment branch is located in the Sierra Summit shopping center, which is at the intersection of I-580/US 395 and the Mount Rose Highway. It is appropriate to rate 1) Fidelity as a firm and 2) this particular branch. I had been an investment advisor for 25 years and had exposure to a number of brokerage firms -- Fidelity as a firm is a top-notch organization. Now, as just a "regular" client, I have received the absolute best service from the team at this particular branch. Yes, everyone will experience a snag with this or that. But, as a whole, this branch is top-notch.

Mike kratzer

Charlie Gruys was exceptional, professional, patient and knowledgeable in aiding us through a transfer of funds relating to an IRA account.

I have been an loyal customer to this company for almost 10 years, funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars through my account over this course of time and though it may not have been much to some, it was every penny I made whether it be through my 401k and or payroll deposit. I was so pleased that I even began to invest into Fidelity it's self. The thanks I get after all of this, they took it upon themselves to close my account for no reason at all without notice and stated that per my contract, "We can close your account, or terminate any optional feature, at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice." Needless to say after this customer appreciation tactic, my direct deposit, returned, automatic payments that were previously arranged, returned, cause late penalties and slow pays which are affecting my credit. Not to mention the account was in good standing and have the even attempted to release my money they clearly owe me, not at all. This company has a terrible business practice when dealing with longtime customers and I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE!!

Terrible Customer Service. Everytime I call it take over 10 minutes for a respresentative to pick up the phone. We have 19 various accounts with Fidelity. Some are simple, others are more complex. Have never had an issue with Fidelity. Investment guidance, wire transfers, retirement planning, tax planning...all have been great. Have always been treated professionally by the local staff - both my rep and the front desk. Online web portal and phone app are very useful. Highly recommend Fidelity as a brokerage firm, and the staff at the local office and the national "back office".

This branch and has been very helpful with all of my financial needs and questions. I was surprised with how well equipped the front desk was with resolving my issues

I've always had great experiences at this branch. There's nothing like the convenience of visiting with someone face to face when you have questions or need to complete a quick transaction. Today I set up a new account with my son and Kyle B., even though it was a busier time, took the time to manually complete his application and then (at my request) give my 18 year old a quick overview on investing and a tour through features on the website. So appreciated!

New account with 30k invested getting locked out of my account every day is a joke.. eventually getting my account shut off while making a large purchase. Total BS. There is a thing as over bearing.

Horrible,terrible

No one picks up the phone at this branch. I called several times and the phone just rang and rang.

I was reluctant to have an interaction at this location because of the other reviews, but I went in, had a very pleasant conversation with the young man at the desk, and was quickly on my way. No problems.

Front desk guy was very clear and friendly. Comfy waiting area with candy and refreshments too.

I have done business with this company for years. They are difficult to deal with and their people at this branch don't seem to care and their phone support cares less.

I don't go in often but when I do, I always find the staff helpful and I leave feeling good about having my money with them.

They were nice but 90% unhelpful. At least this time they didnt look at me like i was trying to rob them.

I opened an account here — best thing I've ever done for myself. Have met with 2 advisors, both super helpful & knowledgeable. Beautiful branch, too. Thanks guys!

These company is a crook

Useless. I'm a current account holder and came in with two questions to which I got the answers "we don't do that" and "you'll have to look online." I've been to TDAmeritrade and ETrade down the street and their service is hands down better. The TDAmeritrade associate actually took 30 seconds to look at profile and made me feel like he knew who I was; he went to the back to ask others questions he couldn't answer. The ETrade representative called the next day to make sure I didn't have any new questions. I'm not sure why Fidelity has a branch here but it's apparently not to answer questions for their customers.
