I called in and spoke to the secretary Tim Braum who was insistent that I speak with Ed Brown. (I called in to find out what their rates were for trading options. Very basic questions) ed wasnt in after being transferred to eds voicemail 2 times I asked Tim (the secretary) to let me speak to a different broker. He then transferred me to John. After John decides my account would be too small $50k he starts to tell me I wouldn't be a good fit for their company. So we hang up I then call back to speak with John again (had a few more questions to ask him) and Tim Braum (the Secretary) tells me has going to transfer me to ed Brown. I tell him I want to be transferred to John. He refuses to transfer me to John and keeps insisting that I need to speak to only ed. Though I had very basic questions about commissions I was not allowed to speak to anyone but Ed Brown and tho ed Brown wasn't in I would have to wait till Monday to get my questions answered. (It's friday) So here I am writing this review because WOW am I taken back by how I was treated on the phone by Tim Braum at FC Stone. Tim if your boss knew you blew a $250,000 account i dont know if you would still have a job. I would not wish this type of customer service on anyone. This company needs to clean their sheets and wash out all the bad stains they have before those stains destroy the whole bed. Smh I wouldn't feel comfortable opening an account with these people or FC Stone if someone paid me. I hope this helps others looking to trade futures or options. Please NOTE: customer service here is terrible.
