We have been with the firm for 10+ years; back to the last recession. We have all had bumps in our investment and portfolio management, but the goal at Legacy Wealth is to smooth out those bumps and make investing as easy as possible.
The firm has grown exponentially in the past 10 years, and improving each year. The staff is attentive and responsive if you do your part and let them know what your goals and needs are. There is a wealth of experience and talent among the staff, if you'll just communicate your wants and needs with them.
The firm is capable of investing in many many more categories than just the standard equities... lots of alternative investments are well vetted and investigated. If you're looking for just "market" performance this may not be the firm you will fit with. Remember their goal is to smooth out the ruff spots. No high highs and no low lows! Just protection and steady performance if that's what you tell them you're looking for.
Again lots of options - Dave Ramsey advisors, licenses to invest in alternatives, investing risk assessment, annuities, life Ins., wealth management, real estate, portfolio modeling, and financial management, supportive staff, upgraded software and MOST importantly the firm is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). Most firms do NOT have that designation -- and having that designation means much more accountability to their clients -- in house compliance, and personalized fiduciary responsibility. They answer to their clients. They act at all times for the sole benefit and interest of their clients. That's what an RIA firm does. An RIA is NOT paid by the company that sells a product that you purchase, again not like most advisors. RIA's are paid by the client.
If ridiculously high return is what you're looking for, then you are taking ridiculously high RISK -- that's not what Legacy Wealth provides. The term "legacy" is the focus and direction of the firm. Wealth transfer and legacy planning are the focus of a family owned and run firm.
I recommend Legacy Wealth for both small and larger investment accounts because of our personal and long term experience with the firm.
