This review pertains to Empower Retirement, a division of Great-West Retirement Services. This is the worst company of any kind with which I have done business. It bothers me to have to grant it one star. My employer in Boston erroneously withheld a little more than $200 from my part-time teaching pay. As a retired full-time state employee, I am exempt from OBRA and plans like what is offered through Empower. Since December I have communicated with this company to get my money back and they do not respond, except for a notice that my refund was being processed. They are either dishonest or incompetent or both. Hard-working people deserve better than what this company provides. it should have been closed in the public interest long ago.
