Why Fidelity offers service centers is beyond me. It is impossible to find a local number for the offices, and when one is finally located if you don't have an extension you get dropped into the corporate queue for a 30 - 45 minute wait to get transferred to the offices. This office offers no service at all. At first I was optimistic when I dropped off a 401k rollover check. The 2 women at the desk were personable and listened to my frustrations in attempting to reach them to get a question answered. I told them I wanted to transfer another account to Fidelity and they gave me the card of Christian Baca at the branch to assist me. I contacted Christian multiple times via email and VM. No response. I could not hit zero to get to the front desk, nor was their an option to reach anyone else without an extension. I finally gave up and did everything online. I had additional questions around reinvestment of dividends and cost basis transfer and tried, again, to reach Christian Baca. Complete waste of time. I found the name of the Branch Manager, TJ Vondra, but could not find a single way to reach him directly via phone or email. I tried to call Fidelity for help...and gave up after 2 waits of 30 min each. After 25 years with Fidelity I will be moving all my accounts out due to the lack of response of this office. There is no concept of customer service unless I want to take time off of work, go up there and stand around to finally talk to someone. There are too many other options to waste time with this office to attempt to get any kind of service.

Do not go to this branch. Fidelity is trying to compete with big investment banks like Schwab and may have the funding but don't have even the most basic customer service skills. I was treated very poorly by the male receptionist and was told that if I even wanted to speak with an investor I had to bring a certain amount of money to be considered for an appointment. IE: $50,000?!?! How am I A.) supposed to grow my money into that amount without first speaking to someone? and B.) What makes this bank so GD special? Bunch of uppity pieces of well dressed trash. I LOVE Schwab, they offer way more than Fidelity and actually show appreciation to their customers. Fidelity-UP YOURS. STOP SENDING ME MAIL YOU DISGUSTING CREEPS.

Absolutely terrible location except for New Haven people. They need an office in a place like Guilford, Madison, Clinton, Old Saybrook or other suburb for eastern shoreline clients. Parking is terrible. The ticket machine was jammed, a nightmare having to back out onto s busy street. So I drove around on hold, nice tour of Yale I did not need. Finally gave up after 20 minutes. Maybe TIAA or Vangard *are* better options. Move/add second location for this office Fidelity!

Fidelity should have a branch office along the shoreline between East Haven and Old Saybrook. The drive over the Q bridge is not easy - and when you finally arrive in the adjacent parking lot - I could find no spaces reserved for Fidelity customers. The young man at the desk was very nice - but a few other employees totally ignored me. I get a warmer hello when I walk into Walmart for heaven's sake. I went there because I had no choice...

Customer service is atrocious, no reason an investment firm does not have someone to answer a phone for 45 min, let alone thier so called managed accounts, if it is managed it should be able to at least move forward in some degree even if it was just a penny this is what I am paying for, but when it moves backwards from the initial investment, something is not working correctly, even in this booming economy you can't turn over a penny. Come on, Iam sure I can do better myself and for this reason I am pulling out.

Fidelity has by far been the easiest company to work with as far as making aa beneficiary claim. My dad passed away last year, and it has been a completely HEADACHE talking to his former employer and other bank. Fidelity has been the most helpful to me during this time. Everytime I've called there was someone who knew the answers to my questions and made the process super smooth for me. I'm extremely grateful for their ezcelexce, and knowledgeable chstocus service.

Great service and an amazing company to invest with. Don't know a lot about investing? That's okay, they have one of the most comprehensive and informative websites I've ever seen. Have to make tough decisions about retirement or how to financially navigate major life events? That's okay too - they have extensive information about that as well - not only on their website but on the other end of the phone (toll free) or in this beautiful office.

Their web site is not very user friendly. I received an email with a link to track my dispersment check and it took me to my account overview and i could not find anywhere to track the location of my check. Every other time i have tried to find something on your site it is difficult and a process that shouldn't be necessary, especially when it comes to submitting documents which i couldn't find on the app either and ended up faxing them in, yes faxed them, in the 21st CENTURY!!! Not satisfied with your website at all and it fells like it is intentionally difficult to navigate.

I have been an loyal customer to this company for almost 10 years, funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars through my account over this course of time and though it may not have been much to some, it was every penny I made whether it be through my 401k and or payroll deposit. I was so pleased that I even began to invest into Fidelity it's self. The thanks I get after all of this, they took it upon themselves to close my account for no reason at all without notice and stated that per my contract, "We can close your account, or terminate any optional feature, at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice." Needless to say after this customer appreciation tactic, my direct deposit, returned, automatic payments that were previously arranged, returned, cause late penalties and slow pays which are affecting my credit. Not to mention the account was in good standing and have the even attempted to release my money they clearly owe me, not at all. This company has a terrible business practice when dealing with longtime customers and I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE!!

Zero Stars - Inconsistent customer service at the UTC location 1) I have been a very good retail client of Fidelity for over 30 years 2)Two weeks ago I was in need of three "Signature Guarantees(Medallion Guarantee Stamp") on standard wire house forms making me Trustee on my fathers estate - I came into the Fidelity office with the forms and all documents for the signature guarantees The two people at the front desk verified who I was and thanked me for my business - they had the documents approved within minutes and provided me with the signature guarantees. Great - mentioned that I might need additional the following week. No problem Came back a week later and the Registered Rep at the front desk greeted me and I said I need three additional forms signed. He said it was company policy that he could not be of help - Only he would give me the guarantee if the money was coming into Fidelity. I mentioned that I had help the week before and he didn't care. Asked for the manager and he mentioned that he was not in and only came in during certain hours. I said for him to look that I was a "Good" Fidelity customer and he didn't give me the time of day. Asked him to have the manager call me - never happened. You have to understand that a "signature guarantee" can only be obtained by certain National Banks and brokerage houses - very limited I needed these forms completed and sought the help of Fidelity whom I have accounts with Fidelity calls me from that office all the time looking for my Wealth Management business - Not going to happen! I called the Wealth Management at Fidelity and he was of no help - The end result is I stopped in at Bank of America / Merrill Lynch office - Cattlemen Road and talked to the Reg Rep there and he handled it all for me (Also have accounts with them) They made it very easy Not Fidelity! Will look to ACATS from Fidelity to Merrill

Do not do business with Fidelity. I have called them for days during my lunch break, been put on hold each time for nearly an hour before I have to hang up, and have not been able to speak to ANYBODY at Fidelity in Sarasota or at any number I can find. They will not communicate with you. I needed their help, and since I can't speak to anybody, email, or chat with a person, I am just going to close the account, somehow, and move on. They will NOT answer the phone under any circumstances. Do not invest with Fidelity.

Tried to get an appointment for new account. Called all around could not get past their automated phone system insisting on my account number. God, what idiots. Finally reached a call center rep (who knows where) who after 17 minutes had to apologize because she couldn't reach this office either. Thank goodness there's a Charles Schwab office in Madison who was more than happy to work with my money. Fidelity should really consider closing down this office.
