One of Vanguards Employees ran a red light on 5/3/16 and was arrested for DUI at 4:30 pm in Tempe, AZ. My 4 year old son was in that vehicle that she hit. If these are the kind of people that they Employ, I would NEVER do business with them! Mind you, she just had a DUI in 2014!

A wonderful place to work! Security is really nice to you and are very helpful. The kitchen staff makes great breakfast and lunch meals. The work atmosphere is spectacular and majority of everyone gets along.

I think my advisor was named Kyle Gerken. I'm speechless. He was clueless and I have no idea how he is working in financial services... I hope Vanguard can step up their game and hire employees who know their jobs. I lost around 50k due to his shotty advice. Hope others don't follow in my footsteps.

Vanguard will do all possible tricks to hold your money. They blocked access to my account after I moved some founds to the bank which is connected with my vanguard account from, and from which bank I founded Vanguard. They called this transaction a fraud activity. To unblock, they require their PAPER filled and NOTARIZED form to be mailed. I am traveling, and when asked how it can be resolved, well, turned out it can't. The Fraud department can't be called. Only one of 4 agents (sales people really) told that there is a phone option to unblock, and I will be basically interrogated. One agent hung up. Two more times I called, the system hung up. I found another number to call. Every step in the conversation I was put on hold for a long time. Finally after 3 hours on the phone, after I asked for a case number, they claim they will call in 72 hours!!!! I am still waiting. This is not the first time when Vanguard is blocking access to my money under all kinds of absurd claims. I have never invested in a worse from Vanguard company. You can open an account in 5 minutes, when you want access to your money, you will not have it without very stressful process. The same happened to my daughter when from the sale of her home she wanted to invest the equity. They right away blocked her account to FBA investigation where the money came from, although, all transfers were legal and accessible to any financial institution to see. And I was the one who recommended it to her. True, they were the only one who offers some return on a money market account, but to me it is not worth the stress especially when I needed to access my savings for an emergency.

I was sent to this location at by a third-party to work for a day to help them out but when I got to security apparently my name wasn't on the list. So while at security I tried calling my contact inside but it went straight to voicemail. It's all the security guard what company I'm here from and what part of the building I'm working in and with who and the security guard had Major attitude and raise his voice forced me to leave, I told him I'm calling the client inside but he didn't care and told me to leave. When I got ahold of the client inside apparently they never told my company that they no longer need us so they just wasted my time for nothing. Unfortunately this was my one and only experience with this company and I refuse to go back, if he is like this I can only imagine what the attitude is like inside. I understand that mistakes happen but there's no reason for such attitude.

Abominable! The software on the web is not user friendly and the phone agents are "unable to make corrections" due to software unfriendliness. Invest your money elsewhere because when you really need service they keep you on hold for literally hours and still do not correct the issue nor even give you the courtesy of a call back and the error is now a multifaceted problem for me to try to correct with IRS and Vanguard. I will be rolling my money out of Vanguard asap! Invest your money elsewhere.
