I called to make a trade with only two days left for settlement in 2018. I received super treatment and help from David Sanders of the trading desk. I was remiss for calling the last minute, but it did not phase him. I was very impressed - he got the job done fast with time to spare. I will be using Ameritrade more in the future.

Great place to invest your money but they seem to fall short when it comes to completing same day wire transfers. It seems to only happen when dealing with a certain employee, "not going to mention a name", but the same person screwed up my transaction twice now. I made the same transaction two other times using other agents and had no problems. Kinda just wanna let the management know they have a bad employee who might not be cut out for transactions.

Customer service was subpar, sarcastic and insulting avoid Pat Russell. I came into to close my account due to the fact I never used it and have since moved out of state. As expected, she tried to talk me out of it. I wrote the wrong date on the form and her response, was sarcastic and unprofessional. She stated, "And we trust you with our lives" insulting my years of military service.

Called this 'Scottrade' office several times with newbie questions, been to the office several times for deposit/withdraw and more questions, whoever I speak with is always cheerful and helpful. After a brief familiarization with TDA online, I'm able to do the basics, which is all I need.

It's like they don't want your business. No way to actually talk to a person in the St. Paul office to get any support. Everything routes through customer service with long wait times. No thanks. Go somewhere that proves they want to support you and your financial goals.

I've been in to TD Ameritrade to see Matthias on two or three occasions since moving to Northwest Indiana. Matthias is an advocate for both the client and his company (TD Ameritrade). While TD has always supported the independent, self-driven investor, Matthias has demonstrated a willingness to assist (or take the lead) to any level at which the customer may need support. This gentleman has no ego issues and is competent, comfortable, honest and enthusiastic at what he does.

Worst experience ever! Just went to drop off a check for IRA. When you walk in, no one was at the front desk. It looked like a mess. Then a few minutes later, someone came out who looked busy and unfriendly. When I asked a simple question, he answered impatiently. I’ve never been treated like this at any other bank!!! There was no greetings whatsoever. And this is supposed to be one of the best investment bank?!?! I was only going because my account used to belong to Scottrade, now merged with TD Ameritrade. Worst customer service at any bank I’ve ever seen!!!

It's a good bank. U can't deposit or withdrawal cash from the branch, but atms anywhere are free. The tellers are nice.

I came in to this office today to add a 401k plan to 3 existing accounts. No secretary available at the front counter. Some employee in sweats was at a desk all slouched over her chair. Is this is what we should expect to manage our hard earned money??? NO THANK YOU!

I received an unsolicited call from this office but did not have time to talk. When I tried to call back I found that the telephone number is log distance from my location. When call to a customer out of the calling area the reps should provide a telno that the call can be returned.

Horrible - could not log in from Europe - when I tried to reset scottrade password the code sent did not have the same last digits as my scottrade account and entering the code was rejected. I will be transferring of my rd Ameritrade accounts to another company.
