Okay so, I was involved with this company for my wedding, as was my bride (We both have issues with them) and as anyone who has had a wedding will tell you there are a lot of people and companies to deal with before your big day. We dealt with The Marq, a larger nature preserve, a bakery, jeweler and more through out the time of our ceremony and it's planning. While I can say that it wasn't always easy every one of them proved to be on top of their game and have been praised by my bride and myself for doing just as they promised... Except Sweet N Easy....
The thing of it is, from the get go they seem okay. Their office is a bit of a mess which is to be expected from a smaller company. Their people seem nice enough at least when they are explaining things to you. however between their inability to get back to us in a timely fashion about changes we'd like to make, their failure to simply drive past the area we had discussed setting up in beforehand to see if it had the facilities we needed, and their generally bad attitude when it came to making changes or accepting any kind of criticism. I can honestly say they have painted a picture of a company that isn't ready for the challenge of the market they stepped into.
I understand that brides are notoriously hard to deal with and that weddings can require a lot out of anyone especially those who have to make it work for the bride and groom. but when your company is charging as much as it does to make these things happen a certain amount of patience and professionalism is expected and you will not get it here. Sweet and easy events essentially wants their work to be sweet and easy even though they are terribly naive if they think that weddings are a bit turbulent by Nature. If you're looking for an understanding and experience company you should take your money elsewhere. we spent plenty of time and money on other companies who showed us much more patience and much more kindness in this. If you need more proof all you need to do is see how viciously they attack any kind of criticism. Honestly from a company that is supposedly so professional it seems a little childish for them not to accept a negative review or two and move on.
For the price tag you can do better than Sweet N Eaay
