If you’re wondering if getting a day of wedding planner is worth the money? It 100% is, especially if you hire Katy. We had issues with our venue, and Katy was there for support from the very beginning. She was beyond helpful with suggestions, ideas and being supportive. Katy is very intuitive, which for a bride who doesn’t want to seem like a bother, that’s very helpful! Additionally, I had vague idea of what I wanted our wedding to look like. Katy took those ideas and created such a beautiful space beyond what I could have envisioned myself. She’s easy to work with, listens and stays calm and cool. Having Katy as our coordinator helped me stay calm throughout the day of our wedding and really allowed us to enjoy every moment.

Katy was amazing. We hired her to be our day of coordinator and we couldn't have had a smoother wedding day. she provided guidance prior to the event on flow and timing. She did everything on the day of including delivering a lovely basket of goodies to the hotel I was getting ready at. 100% recommend Katy for anyone that is planning a stress free wedding day.

Katy was absolutely amazing to work with. We had a backyard wedding at my parent's home and she helped transform the yard into a beautiful wedding venue. Katy was quick to respond when we had questions or needed assistance during the planning process. She also helped coordinate the many different vendors we had. Katy helped the day flow smoothly and kept it stress-free for both us and our parents. She's the best!

Katy (owner of Seattle Stunning events) was our wedding planner and she did a fantastic job at helping us have our dream wedding! I cannot recommend her strongly enough. From the first meeting, to our venue walk through, to the day of, she was an absolute rock. First off communication with Katy was a breeze, be it by email phone call or text, she was always prompt at responding with helpful answers. She put together a great weekend of packet several weeks before our wedding which we were able to share with our wedding party, families and vendors, that communicated all the details and responsibilities of each person, which greatly cut down on the numbers of questions I had to answer. Katy totally understood our concept of a ranch wedding and after showing up at the venue transformed it into an absolute fairy tale. Over the few months we got to know Katy she established herself as someone who was both competent and trustworthy. When she showed up on the venue on Saturday I pretty much spent about 10 minutes with her pointing out where we had unloaded everything, and then got to go spend the next several hours hanging out with friends and family knowing the setup was in great hands! Everything during the wedding ran so smoothly (and if there was ever a problem we never knew about it!) and I am sure that was thanks to her. Katy handled all our vendors the day of, so my husband and I got to fully enjoy our wedding and the company of our guests. At the end of the night Katy had everything packed up, so the next day all we had to do was load our van. Katy worked tirelessly to ensure that we had a wedding day that exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely recommend her and Seattle Stunning Events for a wedding!

Katy and Seattle Stunning Events gets 6 stars! We cannot say enough about how wonderful Katy is! From the moment we first met, we knew she was our coordinator. Katy went above and beyond and even further for us, graciously handling all of our questions and requests, even those sent late at night. Katy is very responsive and her natural ability to make ideas and visions into reality is uncanny and so impressive. We had to put very little effort and because of Katy and endured a minimal amount of stress(Happy bride!). Katy held our hands throughout the entire wedding process, no matter how sweaty they got. Katy was the first to offer help when we needed something - she puts her clients first. If we needed something from her today, she would gladly help out. That's the type of person she is. Katy handled the team of vendors seamlessly and brought everything together. We had multiple people at our wedding express how great Katy was and the job she did. Our wedding would not have been awesome and magnificent without her. She's so personable and genuine. If a wedding coordinator soul mate is a thing, Katy was ours. No question. We love her! We would have paid more to have Katy be our coordinator, she's worth every penny. We even have Katy in our wedding photos.

Katy was truly such a blessing to have throughout my wedding process! We hired her for the day of coordinator but honestly she was by my side throughout the whole wedding process to help with any questions or concerns (which I found out is not common with other day of coordinators). My maid of honor is a wedding coordinator as well and she was very impressed with how well Katy ran the show and how organized she was. Katy truly made my wedding more than I could ever imagine! If you don't want to worry about a thing and have a gorgeous wedding you NEED to book Katy!

I couldn't imagine being able to get thru our very special day without Katy. She was incredibly organized, punctual, detail oriented and kept us on schedule with grace. Having someone there to work out the smallest details was invaluable. There were things we did not even think of that meant so much to us. She had a conversation with my wife once about her favorite wine and months later on our wedding day it's sitting there in her hotel room. She put together an incredibly detailed document of the weeks' events so everyone involved was aware of all the times and festivities. I didn't receive 1 phone call from friends or family on where they needed to be, what they needed to bring. Those may sound small but they all added up to an incredible night that went off without a hitch.

My daughter was engaged in November 2017. The wedding would be in Seattle and I, the MOtB, live in California. I knew there was no way I could effectively help my girl with the planning and execution of the big day so went online to look for a wedding planner. We are blessed beyond measure to have found Seattle Stunning Events. Katy and Bailey are AMAZING. They are true professionals with a wealth of knowledge and experience AND they have big hearts. They are so kind and patient and were there for us at every turn. We had some issues with our venue and if not for Bailey’s persistence, I don’t think the big day would have come off the way it did. A bonus was getting to use a lot of their décor, including curtains to emerge from for the ceremony, a backdrop for the head table, and all of the chargers, votives, vases and fairy lights for the centerpieces! I can’t say enough good things about Seattle Stunning Events. Thank you, Katy and Bailey!!

Katy was absolutely AMAZING! From first consultation to the end of our wedding day, Katy was professional, patient, and organized. Communication was great and she handled every part of our day-of needs/coordination and more. She asked all the right questions, a lot I never would have thought of, and helped me plan the best day of my life. For someone like me, who has never even been IN a wedding, I did not know what to expect the day of. All the details started running through my head the morning of my wedding and I began to worry I was not prepared, but as soon as Katy showed up, all my worries of who was doing what or how things would actually play out washed away. She was collected the whole time and handled all of the vendors so that my husband and I could enjoy every joyous moment of our wedding. She even graciously put up with those strong opinionated guests and took on the burden of listening to their banter so we didn’t have to  Thanks to Katy, we were able to enjoy our wedding from beginning to end and have nothing but great memories to look back on. I highly recommend her for your wedding planning needs.

Hiring Katy as our day-of coordinator was quite possibly the best money we spent on our wedding. She was so helpful in planning out details starting several months in advance--she thought of so many things we might otherwise have overlooked. And on the day-of she was simply amazing. She was on top of everything and only consulted with us on a few minor things. If there were any issues that day she successfully managed to keep us blissfully unaware of them so we could enjoy ourselves. She also has a great collection of decor to borrow, which was definitely helpful (so glad we didn't need to waste money on things like table numbers!). She was also super responsive throughout the whole process. Hire Katy--you won't regret it!

We can’t gush enough about Katy and Seattle Stunning Events. We hired her as a day of coordinator, but she did so much more than that. She fielded decoration, style, and logistics questions for us, reviewed contracts for all other vendors we worked with, and met with us for hours (yes, hours) at her own home to put together a day-of timeline in addition to the multiple scheduled meetings she attended with the venue contact. She guided us in every step of the planning process and constantly thought of things that hadn’t occurred to us. She even provided budgeting tools and put together a detailed info packet and timeline for our vendors and bridal party. In every way Katy went above and beyond to make our day everything that we were hoping for, and we just couldn’t have done it without her help. She was hands down our favorite vendor that we worked with and we would highly recommend her to anyone.

My husband and I are not from Washington, and were in need of someone to help us that was local. Katy went above and beyond allowing us to ship things to her house, which made traveling so much easier! I am so lucky to have had such an amazing person be apart of planning my perfect day! Katie did an awesome job with helping us to plan our wedding and doing our ceremony and reception decor. She has a great eye for detail and is a great listener when it comes to understanding what we wanted. With our scattered ideas along with her attention to detail, she created a lovely romantic fall atmosphere that our guests absolutely loved. I have been at a couple different events Katy has taken part in planning, one of which was my own wedding. Katy has an ability to listen to what you want and then find a way of making it happen. She cares about the little things that make it special to you, and takes the time to make you feel heard. She has a way of making each event feel individual but knows how to do it with out blowing your budget. Katy was always available to answer questions and give insight when I needed it. She was supportive with out being pushy and made my day of feel seamless.

Amazing doesn’t seem like a great enough description to cover how wonderful Katy was in pulling off my dream wedding. We met her at the Seattle Wedding Expo and her calm, reassuring presence locked it in for me that she would make my life easier during the planning process. I was one of those that thought wedding planning wasn’t that stressful and never understood why other brides would get stressed out…I was quickly schooled on the reality of wedding planning but Katy was always available to talk with me on whatever was needed. I can’t begin to express what a different that makes! Her ability to remember and think of everything wedding-related is unbelievable and goes so far to making your big day run smoothly. The wedding itinerary she created was a lifesaver and resulted in no phone calls from my friends, family, and vendors the day off—which let me tell you is something so critical on the day of. She transformed all the thoughts I had in my head for the big day and made it actually happen! The whole day felt like a fairytale that I was able to fully enjoy because I had peace of mind that Katy had everything covered.
