Jaime Johnson events not only made my wedding spectacular but I've had the pleasure of working with her at many other events including birthdays, anniversaries, fundraisers both on large and small scales. Every event was fantastic and wonderful. They weren't wonderful just by luck..it's Jaime's talents that truly "make" event. She is extremely thoughtful, giving, creative and organized. Did I say organized? She has everything planned out to even the smallest details. Her overall character is SPEICIAL and working with her not only instills trust with her clients but makes them feel at ease. A large event or small event or business consultation when you need advice, JJE is your gal hands down!!

As a caterer in the industry, we have worked with many event planners and Jaime sets the gold standard in our area. Her level of professionalism, knowledge of vendors in the area, and event design makes her the event planner that we recommend to our clients. We know that the day will run smoothly, she will exceed the client’s expectations, and the vendors will have the tools they need to make sure to do their job well. We have worked together on at least 40 events over the last 5 years and each event has their own challenges…..outdoor venue with no kitchen – Jaime assists us in bringing in a temporary kitchen, event space that holds 150 people but the client has 200 guests – Jaime designs a lay-out to maximize the space, budget constraints - Jaime works with the client and vendors to make creative suggestions on how to best utilize the budget. Events are hard work and exhausting but Jaime’s enthusiasm for our industry is infectious. My team loves working with her because it might be midnight but Jaime is still there right along with us. Her hard work and dedication to her client’s vision of their event is what makes her the top planner in the area. Planners are a hard thing to quantify their value until after the event... but trust me... an awesome planner is worth their weight in gold, and especially if it’s Jaime Johnson Events. My wedding day turned out beautiful, unfortunately it wasn't made easy by JJE. I should have known from my first appointment when Jaime was an hour late that it wasn't going to be easy. I was heartbroken that my family paid for coordinating that didn't happen. I essentially planned my entire wedding and got a day of set up team that followed my exact layout. It was nearly impossible to get an email answered in the same week until about a month before the wedding. Things that I saw as important special touches at my wedding 'weren't a high priority' on her list until last minute, so I was left to take care of it. I thought she was so nice when I met her and had heard such wonderful things that I was so disappointed to see the opposite. On the day of, guests were given multiple glasses of champagne upon entering the ceremony so her assistants "wouldn't have to stand there anymore" and the sparklers at the end of the night were handed to one or two people rather than being passed out for my guests to take care of distributing. Not to mention anytime I asked if something had been done I got the response of, we were suppose to do that? My things were so thrown together after we left that special items were misplaced and had to be searched for the next day. It was just an over all extremely stressful process dealing with this company and I wouldn't do it again. From what I gathered, unless you are spending around $50k, I wouldn't use JJE, as the effort won't be there and you will not feel like a priority but rather just another event they are ready to be done with.

When I thought planning a wedding was going to be a daunting task, Jaime took the stress away immediately. She was full of brilliant ideas and turned my make shift Pinterest board into a beautiful and elegant day. She was professional, timely, and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy at every point in the process. She was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a true professional.
