Addendum to first review:
I received A wonderful follow up call from JOANNE who is part of the office staff I gushed Over in my previous review. She called to assure me that the Owner of VaSpecialevents was not happy with the unusual practices of their staff and that He has made sure that there is no place for such bad customer service in his ranks. Now that’s what I call Good customer service. Even when things don’t quite work out right, apologize and make sure it doesn’t happen again. Thank you JOANNE and Mr. Va special events.
I will Be using you again.

I truly loved the office staff, the equipment and the prices were tolerable. I say TOLERABLE because if the staff that accompanied the 60 foot inflatable obstacle course I paid a mint to rent, would have did more that just sit on their butts, I would have felt I had gotten my money’s worth.
Let me explain: the two attendants arrived on time, set up and broke down the inflatable promptly. My complaint is when a light rain came through, the two attendants weren’t willing to lift a finger to dry out the very expensive inflatable I had paid for in order for my guests to enjoy it. If it wasn’t for my husband having to change his clothes, grabbing several of my towels and get into the inflatable himself to dry it out, my guests would have never been able to enter into the pooling water giant blow up. Correction, one of the two atttendents decided to help after my husband was struggling to dry both sides while the other attendant stayed glued to his phone in a chair the entire lenght of the event. A neighbor also came to the rescue with his blower to help dry it out as well. After an hour of my rental time had passed my guests were finally able to enjoy the inflatable. And enjoyed themselves THEY DID!
All this to say, for the money I paid Virginia Special Events, I expected better customer service rather than just the bare minimum.
