We chose Shirley as the caterer for our wedding reception, and we are very happy with our decision. She was willing to work with us and our budget to find something that worked. For example: Shirley gave us the option to just buy cups, plates, napkins and drinks wholesale and give them to her to save on cost. You won't be disappointed choosing her as your caterer!

Shirley's Catering is a local treasure, having served the Northern Virginia Community for many years. Shirley has catered a number of family events for us, most recently the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception for my oldest son. Her staff are well trained and love their work - and it shows. The food was beautifully presented and our guests went out of their way to tell me how much they enjoyed it. It was truly 5-star dining. Beyond the food, Shirley has a magic touch with the ambience and decor. From every fresh flower and grapevine woven around the cheese display to the uplit feathers for that Gatsby look around the bar, we could not have asked for more. The whole family, including our new daughter in law and her parents, friends and extended family, were thrilled with the whole event.

Shirley's Catering was wonderful to work with! I hired them for service for my husband's surprise 40th bday, and the two staff that came were excellent! Meredith & Sharon were both professional, alert, attentive to their surroundings and most esp to the party guests. I LOVED working with Meredith from planning until the day of when she did the bartending for me. She was fun and entertaining to the guests. I also loved Sharon who did the cheese/fruit platter presentation for me. Loved her beautiful work! I had many compliments from our guests and couldn't be more satisfied with the service. Overall, impressive! I highly recommend Shirley's Catering and the staff (esp Meredith/Sharon) :)

Shirley's Catering provided us a six person wine pairing cocktail party. We had a wonderful time and the food and wine were excellent. The six of us sat in our living room and were literally treated like kings and queens as each of the 5 courses were served to us and the wine was presented and served. We were amazed when we walked into our kitchen after the event when we found it spotless with everything cleaned up and all dishes and glasses washed. We're definitely going to call on Shirley again.

All I can say is wow! I went to a sales function and Shirley's Catering was there. Best food I tasted while in the D.C area. I didn't hesitate letting the company know they hired the right caterer for the sales event. I can't get over how great the appetizers were. A taste of heaven delight in your mouth with every bite. They were extremely professional and helpful when I asked what things were and how it was made. I love food and am curious how others make such delightful food items. Whenever I am asked for a catering business around this area, I will without a doubt recommend Shirley's Catering. I just wish I could bring her home to the family! Maybe teach my mom a little thing or two? But, don't tell mom I said that! Two thumbs, WAY up!

What little food they had left when I went through the line was ok. But a brunch buffet where you run out of eggs, frittata, and fruit. AND DON'T EVEN APOLOGIZE means I will be asking g if Shirley's is the caterer, and not going if the answer is ever yes

Shirley's catering did not disappoint. Bev helped me with the menu, gave suggestions to stay within my budget and even came to my house to help me decide were to set up the food stations. Shirley's was able to accommodate all of our dietary restrictions and the food was very good. The three ladies who came the night of the party were excellent. Not only did they serve the food but they left my kitchen spotless when the night was over. It was a wonderful experience.

After having a rather disastrous experience with another local caterer earlier this month, it was nice to know that Shirley's Catering would show up on time, set up everything perfectly and have our employees walk away satisfied.
