My husband and I hired Chelsea and her team at Illumination Events as our day-of coordinator per the recommendation of our venue (Historic Jasmine Plantation), and we are SO glad that we did. Chelsea gave us a call almost immediately after we sent an inquiry. She wasn't personally available for our wedding date, but she assured us that she would have someone fabulous to be the lead coordinator. IES has worked with couple at Historic Jasmine many times, and I felt so at ease knowing that they were familiar with our venue (as well as several of our other vendors!). Erica Hinkle was the lead coordinator for our wedding, and she was fabulous to work with. We started communicating with her regularly in July (our wedding was October 5th), and she was so knowledgeable, sweet, and professional from that moment to follow-up from our wedding. Erica and Chelsea were both able to help us think of things we would have otherwise missed, and I was so impressed by their organization and attention to detail. Erica and her day-of team tied up all of the loose ends - our wedding day was more perfect than I could have imagined! I was so worried about all of the moving parts leading up to our wedding day, but as soon as the weekend came, I could tell that Erica had it all under control. I know that they were working so hard on our wedding day, but Erica and her team made it all seem effortless. They even ran out and bought more beer when we were running low (during the cocktail hour!! Oops!) without hesitation. They kept us on schedule to make sure that everything happened as my husband and I planned. If they were ever in a bind, we were oblivious. Chelsea - you have a fabulous team working for you, and I would recommend IES to anyone in need of a day-of coordinator!
