Bella Giornata Events & Design did day-of coordination for my wedding. They were incredibly sweet, caring, knowledgeable, professional and hard working. I loved working with them and I am extremely glad that they were a part of my wedding. I originally spoke with Christina, who was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She had recommendations to add to my wedding day which I used and loved. During the day of the wedding we worked with Meghan. Meghan is a ROCKSTAR! She took care of the many, many logistical decisions that need to be made on the day of a wedding, shielding my family from any stress or confusion. It seemed like she was constantly in at least 3 places at once, smoothing down any confusion, communicating where people should be, doing finishing touches. She worked so hard and at the same time was completely level headed, sweet and always aware of exactly what needed to be done. Throughout the day Meghan thought of so many small things that really made a huge difference. For example, at one point she told me she had something important to talk to me about, then pulled me into the back kitchen where she had brought out appetizers for my husband and I to eat. That was so sweet and thoughtful! And very helpful- I was hungry. :) Meghan communicated and worked very well with my wedding vendors and was a wonderful, kind and very helpful presence. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the day together and felt like we were being pampered. We were so happy and relaxed, and the wedding went SO smoothly! Meghan made the day like a happy dream. Work with her!

Being apart of a wedding party 10/2016, Christina was the wedding planner/coordinator for this beautiful wedding. Not only was she suppose to have certain duties as a planner, she didn't show me *one of the bridesmaids* anything and why someone would hire her as a planner. For the actual rehearsal she was the last to show up, pushing all other plans for the bride back and making the bridesmaids late for the next event having to occur. The day of the wedding, the bridesmaids were in a particular room getting ready for the big day, honestly we didn't see Christina until an hour prior to the wedding starting and we had all been there about 4 hours prior. There was no liaison, so the bride was misinformed on info and had to keep running to the reception area to coordinate to make sure all things were intake. Mind you, the brides parents basically did most of the planners job and the planner was no where near when the bride needed her. There was suppose to be a team member of her group to be with us throughout the day, in which she didn't show up until all of us *bridesmaids* walked to the chapel to enter into the wedding. She definitely didn't have any idea what was going on and where we needed to be. Mind you all of this should of been taken cared of and covered during the rehearsal, no, it was not. After the wedding was over, it was picture time, where was Christina? No where to be found, where was any of her team members? No where to be found. Before the reception, we had to wait, so we all went to go sit in the lobby since it was freezing outside, mind you we haven't really eaten earlier that day besides what the hairstylist went to go pick up *in which Christina was suppose to plan for us to have food, didn't happen.* we are siting in the lobby, eating horderves that was barely left and drinks that were suppose to been provided, no, nothing. So, time for the reception, and time to line up to get introduced, where do we go, what do we do when we are on the floor waiting for the new married couple to be introduced, where are our tables? Were questions asked to Christina....she clearly had no idea what was going on. Oh & maybe if having another wedding planned the same day, try having more people on staff so the other bride doesn't have to go through what this bride had to. It was her wedding day and it should of been the best day ever, in which it was but certain things she shouldn't of had to handle, that's why a planner is hired and paid to do the job and to take the stress off of the bride. The planner literally was running around looking like a chicken with her head cut off. Very unprofessional is all I can say, so brides looking for a wedding planner/coordinator, be really careful and read all reviews and ask questions!

My husband and I are wedding photographers. That being said, we have shot over 100 weddings and wanted ours to be unique while still being true to us. We put EVERYTHING in Christina's hands! I had no idea what my reception or ceremony space was going to look like AT ALL! She knew my favorite colors and designed the most incredible spaces imaginable. She also designed my florals and they were TO DIE FOR! The day went so smoothly due to her coordination and team, that my family and friends are STILL raving about my wedding to this day. Words of advice to other brides: HIRE AND TRUST CHRISTINA 100%. It will be the best decision of the beginning of your lives together!

Christina was amazing!! I started planning my wedding alone and with being in a long distance relationship made the process sometimes feel like just checking things off a list rather than something super special and exciting to plan. I booked the venue at Eden Try with my fiancé only seeing pictures that I had taken and then started getting the other big things like who the cater was going to be and the photographer, ect. Got my dress everything seemed to be coming together. Eden try does require you to get a wedding planner which I was a little hesitant/annoyed about because I was working on a tight budget and it seemed like I was finding everything perfectly fine anyway. I did wonder how the day of would go and who would set up and do all the coordinating because clearly the day of I just wanted to show up looking good and party! Eden try got on me for not having a planner yet and said that they had been going through a change with event planners and they had a lady named Christina who was great and worked with them directly. At this point to be honest Eden try does have lots of rules which was very annoying and kind of stressful but continuing. I contacted her about two months before my wedding and she was so quick with her responses. We made an appointment to meet at her super cute office space and we talked over what her role was and how the day of would go. She helped me with dealing with the rules of Eden try and making it seem a lot less stressful. I decided to book her for day of service and not really knowing how that part was going to go, she put my mind at ease. I didn’t give her much to work with decoration wise or decoration budget but she was able to help me navigate options that would work and that she could use her “event planner connections” to work with. She literally made my wedding day so smooth and beautiful. I would recommend her to anybody needing someone to help them with direction or put your vision to reality. I’m telling you she will make it happen and make it look like a BILLION bucks!! She was down to earth and easy to talk to. I started planning the wedding pretty much alone and got pretty far into it but there comes a point where you will need help and especially for the day of to make it just perfect. Christina knows her stuff and wants things to look expensive even on a budget. If you’re in limbo, at least send her a email and let her do the rest.

I would recommend Bella Giornata Events to anyone who is seeking an event planner who is exquisite at what she does and makes sure you get exactly what you want and more. I posted this review on her facebook page, but 10 minutes after I posted it, it was taken down so no one else could see it. So here it goes: As a member of a bridal party of a wedding back in October, I felt it is only fair to warn other brides. The wedding and the bride was absolutely beautiful! However, the whole wedding day was a mess. There was so many missteps leading up to the day and the actual day of. 1. Lack of presence and being on time. Christina was late to the rehearsal and the last person to arrive the morning of the wedding. Without even letting the bride know that she would be late, or where she was. 2. Not having the correct amount of staff that was promised. Christina was basically MIA the entire wedding day. She did not stay on schedule which resulted in planned pictures not being taken when they should. (The bride almost missed her father daughter first look photo!!) 3. She did not have place cards for some of the bridal party. 4. The bride and her mom bought all of the water glasses for all of the guests (200 guests) and Christina and her "staff" (2 people) never unpacked them or placed them on the tables. Instead, they were pushed aside behind the bar and never used. 200 GLASSES THAT THE BRIDE BOUGHT!!! 5. She forgot to bring the sparklers that were purchased for the send off. Which resulted in the old silk mill giving wedding guests left over sparklers from a previous wedding. (AND AGAIN...THE BRIDE PAID FOR THE SPARKLERS THAT WERE NEVER USED!) 6. She never provided breakfast/lunch for the bridal party while we were getting ready. Food arrangements were previously discussed with the bride. Since no one could find her, one of the hair stylists was kind enough to go pick up our food. (The hair stylist was not affiliated with Christina) 7. SINCE SHE DID NOT HAVE THE AMOUNT OF STAFF PROMISED, THE BRIDES PARENTS ENDED UP DOING MOST OF THE BREAKDOWN AND CLEANUP AFTER IT WAS OVER!!! ....and the list seriously goes on and on. I am appalled at how she can call herself a wedding planner. A bride or her family does not deserve to be subject to the amount of stress that they were put through that day. BRIDES BEWARE!

She very nearly ruined our wedding. We had to fire her because she could not keep her promises and failed to execute many of the things she committed to. In the end we ended up doing all of the things ourselves that she was supposed to do. I found she offered a lot of lofty talk but not action. Had we not found another wedding planner to help us out last minute we might not have been able to have our wedding. She cost us thousands for literally nothing. Be VERY careful with dealing with her!!
