If you need any sort of wedding help, stop your search now because you have found the best right here! Sandy is amazing! She guides you every step (big or small) of the way; you give her an idea of something you may want, she's going to point you in the right direction and makes sure it happens and within your budget! If there is a deadline you can bet she's on top of it and makes sure you're on time for everything! Need an appointment with a vendor? She's got you covered. She has your back and best interest in every bit of the way! You literally couldn't ask for a better person to make wedding planning so easy! She's all business when its important, but comes with a side of fun too! I am a worry wart and indecisive person and with Sandy my mind was at ease, and I was never pressured with anything! Every meeting we had was a blast and left us always looking forward to the next one. Her husband also was an added bonus of help to both of us, they seriously are the dream team! We would not have been able to have a dream wedding without her help. Anyone who knows me knows that I stress about everything, so you would think on my wedding day I would have been the biggest stress ball out there. Was I? Not even a little bit (I was even surprised myself) because Sandy had been so comforting and thorough the whole planning process that I knew we were in the best hands possible for our big day! Everything went off without a hitch, with the exception of a shy flower girl to which Sandy was a superhero and swooped in to save her  I highly recommend Sandy for wedding planner you WILL NOT regret it! My husband and I loved Sandy [and her husband] so much for all of her help and not only was she our planner of the biggest day of our lives, but she has become a lifelong friend to us!

My husband and I got married two years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. Sandy and I clicked immediately. She is very professional and personable. Sandy went above and beyond for our wedding day. She is very organized, resourceful, and has great communication skills. This is the most selfless wedding planner you will meet in the Hampton roads area. Sandy unfortunately loss her Grandson two weeks before our wedding. In her mourning she still made sure that our timeline for our wedding was done and our wedding went so smoothly. She was our day of coordinator but I couldn't tell. I felt like I had hired her to plan the whole wedding. If I had to do it all over again and I hope I don't :), I would hire Sandy all over again. She is absolutely amazing. She is very meticulous when looking at contracts as well. She saved us some money along the way too. I cannot RAVE enough about Sandy. I wish her much Success in her career. During planning, she guided me through a process that was foreign to me as she helped us gather vendors and services to make the day SO special. What I really need to compliment Sandy on & also her wonderful husband- is their don't give up attitude!! Even in the blizzard weather she made the day one myself, my groom, and family/guests will remember forever! The day ran on schedule like nothing was happening outside as she kept me in the loop and helped the vendors move forward. "Sandy the great" was the name I gave Sandy by the time our wedding was said and done. I remember our first meeting with Sandy like it was yesterday. There was a conversation between her and another wedding professional regarding how things were done and in what order. I noticed how confident and outspoken Sandy was. It showed me how serious she took her job and that nothing less than perfection would be tolerated on her behalf. She won both myself and my wife over in that very moment. Looking back I can say with ease that Sandy is, and should be, at the top of her profession. She has the perfect blend of character and personality for what she does. She is confident, caring, experienced, and most importantly passionate. She loves what she does and this was evident. She is able to help you express your vision and create your perfect day without a single detail missed. She has the ability to take in your wedding vision and make it her own. It becomes a priority to her. I remember specifically at one of our meetings, Sandy was bringing up small details we had briefly mentioned in previous conversations without so much as a pen and pad. This was impressive and showed us that we were valued and not just another customer. Sandy has that magnetic personality that everyone enjoys being around. She made things FUN which can be hard to do considering how stressful a wedding can become. We were able to put full trust and confidence into Sandy and it eased our minds. I've told Sandy before that I would love to do my wedding over again. It was beautiful and incredibly fun. If it were possible, I couldn't see us working with anyone else. Sandy surpassed what we thought a wedding planner was capable of.

Choosing Baxter’s Creative Events was the best decision we made when we began planning our wedding. My wife and I wanted to do a fusion Indian-American wedding, and we knew we had to hire an experienced wedding planner. It was evident early on that Sandy was quite experienced in wedding planning. She did her best to understand our vision even when we didn’t know exactly what we wanted. She asked us all the right questions to help us come to a final decision on how we wanted our wedding day to be based on a realistic budget. Even though Sandy was already experienced with Indian weddings, she took the time to understand and incorporate some of the differences within my Indian sub-culture. Throughout planning process, Sandy provided us with vast knowledge and pertinent questions to ask to ensure we were choosing the right venue or vendors for our needs, while staying within our budget. She accompanied us to the majority of meetings, and if she was unable to attend, she would help review contracts and make sure all questions were answered. She organized the wedding day timeline using her own template to customize it for all of our other vendors. This way everyone was on the same page, and knew exactly when and where they needed to be. On the Wedding Day, Sandy and the Baxter’s Creative Events crew were everywhere, making sure everything was running smoothly. Every time I saw someone from the crew, they were busy with something but seemed stress-free and even seemed like they were enjoying the day. This kept us stress-free too. They made sure that our wedding party was where they needed to be. If changes needed to be made, there was no problem and everything continued flawlessly. Our wedding day was perfect, and we could not have done it without Baxter’s Creative Events. We can’t thank you enough for helping us have a dream wedding! Sandy is truly a magical wedding planner. From the very start of planning she was on top of scheduling and coordinating. She has a long list of vendors and ideas that make choosing what’s most important to you extremely easy and effortless. I no longer live in the 757 area code but she worked around my schedule and made working with her and other vendors a piece of cake. Words cannot express how grateful my husband and I were to have had Sandy Baxter as our wedding planner. She is a phenomenal woman of God, very professional, and an all-around class act! I found Sandy via internet search and reviews. Each bride gave her glowing remarks and 5-star ratings. I decided to try her out and was nothing short of amazed and awed each step of the way. Sandy made the wedding planning process smooth and stress free. This was an amazing feat as my husband and I are both active duty military (Navy and Air Force, respectively). We found ourselves both deployed and, thus, separated for 10 months of the 12 month planning period with 1 month overlap where we were both deployed at the same time. She kept the ball rolling and the lines of communication open. Also, I can't say enough about her "preferred vendors" list. Every part of our wedding was exceptional. I felt like a bride that deserved to be honored at each meeting with the various vendors. They really rolled out the red carpet! When you get Sandy, you get her and a team of professional vendors that execute their roles with sheer class and precision - if you choose to use her tried and true vendors. My family cannot stop talking about her and our wedding. On my wedding day, Sandy had every detail about that day planned out and typed in a precisely timed agenda which was delivered to my husband and I to ensure that the day went off without a hitch. If anything went awry, it was unbeknownst to me. The day was flawless and one that we will remember and cherish forever. Please note, my wedding as an evening event at the Chrysler Museum of Art. I never thought I would be one of those brides that hires a planner....but I would HIGHLY recommend it. I planned from out of state and I don't know how I would have accomplished it without Sandy. She planned all of my visits to VA Beach and made sure there were a variety of appointments each day (i.e. one day wasn't spent eating cake so that by the end you were sick of cake). She was also able to negotiate discounts with certain vendors that basically paid for her fee.There were some issues with out photos and she helped us resolve that too even though the wedding was long since over! Would highly recommend her!

I don't know where to begin, I hired Sandy in November of 2017. Over the past year and a half of working with her, she has proven herself deserving of the 5 stars I, and so many others, have given her. She does everything you would expect a planner to do, keeping you on schedule as far as booking vendors, reminding you of little details that you may forget, giving you resources for order wedding related things, but she also has your back. She makes sure your vision is always at the forefront of all of the planning, she will speak up for you when she senses that you need some backup. She was wonderful throughout the planning process! I remember our first sit down meeting. We were trying to choose who our wedding coordinator would be. We were in Starbucks and there was a group of employees standing at the counter. A phone rung and the ringtone was a song I liked.... I was looking over at the kids waiting to see who's phone it was when Sandy snapped her phone up and silenced it. At that moment I decided, in my head of course that she would get my vote! From that day on Sandy Baxter would help guide us thru our wedding planning process.
