Ampa Events offers exceptionally professional, detailed, reasonably priced, and more than accommodating services. They provided decor and life-size props for the 2018 Howard University Graduate Student Assembly Awards Gala which had an Egyptian theme. They were very patient while we were in our planning process and played an integral role in the execution of our event which exceeded our expectations (Mina- design of original invoice, Sandy- payments and invoice accommodations, Lou- revision of the invoice). All of the Ampa Events staff did a wonderful job in assisting us, but I must take the time to give a major shoutout to Mr. Tripp who delivered, installed, broke down our event! He was the only vendor who arrived at the agreed upon call time (early in fact), without an excuse, concern, or question beyond what we needed him to do. He met us with a warm personality, even after our event which ended after 1am. He was extremely diligent, fast and detailed in his work. When only one volunteer showed up to help us set up at the agreed upon call time before our event, Mr. Tripp stepped in using his blatant, refined experience and expertise to set all the props we ordered in the perfect way making the room look great and equally wowing our 200 guests at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel’s Grand Ballroom in Washington, D.C. Richmond SPCA

We recently hosted an event in Richmond to honor our chief executive officer’s 20th anniversary. Our theme was “A Starry Night,” and Ampa Events provided us the lighting equipment necessary to create the effect of stars broadcast throughout the room for the occasion. The lighting was stunning, and we received countless compliments from guests. The company is extremely professional and reliable and a wonderful community partner. They really helped make our event very special.

I manage a military veteran hiring program at Hilton Worldwide and used AMPA to help us host a celebration event at our Global Headquarters in McLean, VA. I had multiple prep calls with Kammy, shared my ideas and pictures of what we wanted. She was so easy to work with and was very understand of my budget. The team that came out to do the set up and break down was very friendly, professional and took pride in their work. The event turned out EXACTLY as we had envisioned. I am a bit of a perfectionist, especially when I have something in my head that I want a certain way and I could not have asked for anything more! I would definitely recommend AMPA Events!

A big thanks to you for your help in making the event at the Former Residence of the Spanish Ambassadors very special. The Glowing Truss, Farm Tables, LED s in the Courtyard and Rope lights outside looked great! The embassy staff were impressed that with a few strategically placed light fixtures, some contemporary furniture and a large projection of art images the space could get transformed into a cool night club ambiance. Disorganized and slow for a quote. The initial quote was a competitive price, but the poor follow up communication means I won't trust them with my event. I contacted them for a quote and got a reply in a few days from Ted Rubis, all fine. 10 days later I replied and asked some follow up questions. A "regional manager for the DC region" called Eric Hertsch e-mailed me to take over the process. I called him as he requested, and discussed what I needed. He couldn't find any of my earlier e-mails so I sent them directly to him on 14th Dec. I sent another follow up e-mail on 21st Dec asking when I could expect a reply. It is now 8th Jan and I haven't heard anything back. I know this is over the holiday period, but almost a month is getting ridiculous...
