If I could give Randi and Silver Toad more than 5 stars I would. We hired Randi to help plan our Vermont wedding early in the planning process, and it was absolutely the best planning decision we made. Randi worked tirelessly to help us shape our wedding vision and then made that vision a reality in a way that vastly exceeded our expectations and made our guests feel welcomed and taken care of. Randi's network of VT wedding vendors is vast, and she expertly guided us to the vendors that fit our personality and budget. There was no need for us to spend time interviewing endless vendors because Randi did that work for us. Randi is also very respectful of your budget, and will help you create a wedding that falls within your financial boundaries. Randi is extremely kind. Throughout the wedding planning process she checks in with you to make sure you're doing well, and troubleshoots any areas of anxiety. I was not a bride who had the time or desire to get lost in the weeds with wedding planning, however I wanted my event to feel and look incredible. Because of Randi's work behind the scenes I avoided endless meetings over silverware choice, room arrangement, etc., and my wedding was the best day I've ever had. Hire Randi, you will be amazed!

I normally don't write reviews but feel the need to express just how incredible Randi was with planning our wedding in my mom's backyard in Stowe, Vermont. Honestly, there are not enough kind words to describe how great she is. Randi is the best in what she does, hands down. We hired Randi to help us ease the stress of hosting a wedding at my childhood home. We wanted to be able to enjoy not only the day of but days leading up to our wedding. She made that possible. From the day we signed on with her she was on it, and although she is very busy, she made us feel like our wedding was her only event this summer. She was our ally and understood our vision for the day perfectly. She keeps her cool when things come up, because they do. With years of experience, her connections in the industry are endless. She knows all the best vendors and is a delight to work with. She got to know myself and my husband very well during the process as well as my parents, and we all adore her! As a wedding photographer, I anticipated that I might feel nervous or in my head about the wedding timeline or in general noticing how things are progressing on the wedding day (much like I normally do when I photograph a celebration) but instead I felt completely present and enjoyed every minute! A lot of this had to do with the fact that I 100% trusted Randi to manage all of the moving pieces of the day. Randi is intuitive with her approach, insistent in the right moments, smart, kind, honest and pleasure to be around. Randi and her team made the wedding day and the wedding planning process exponentially more enjoyable and functional.

Randi was delightful to work with. She is calm, deliberate, hardworking, professional and fun to be with. She was just what my daughter and I needed to help execute all the details and coordination involved in planning the wedding weekend. The best part was that because of Randi, I could really enjoy every minute knowing she had it all under control and would take care of anything that cropped up at the last minute. We love Randi. She is superb. The bride and groom’s families shared the planning and expense for a wedding weekend with a large number of guests. It began Thursday night and ended with Sunday brunch. We also shared Randi. The wedding would not have happened without her. She was the center for all of us. She knows all the vendors but advocates for her client, giving good advice on what charges are reasonable and when to push back. As a former florist, she knows what you should expect from vendors and holds them to it She understands when decisions need to be made to keep things moving and she is conscientious about keeping you on track without being pushy. She agonizes over every detail, but spares the client from that agony and instead presents clear alternatives with pros and cons, a recommendation and a rationale. The client doesn’t have to do the leg work, just make a decision. She is tireless. Knowing that she was taking a rare weekend vacation with her family early in the summer, we emailed her but said we could wait until Monday for a reply. She responded almost immediately saying “I didn’t want you to worry”. At every event she was the first one there and the last to leave. The Saturday “after party” went until 200 am and Randi was still at the 830 brunch. She is unflappable. A photo display of ancestor weddings inadvertently omitted one couple. A call to Randi shortly before the ceremony and the pictures were swapped before cocktails. One of the mothers had planned to change shoes for dancing but left them in her room. Randi’s team retrieved them before the first dance. She is smart, knowledgeable, thorough, tireless, attentive to detail and -- throughout it all -- unfailingly pleasant and calm. The bride and groom, both sets of parents and the members of the wedding party were all unanimous -- we LOVED working with Randi and are deeply grateful to her for a perfect wedding weekend.

Randi is an exceptional wedding coordinator and exceptional person. My husband (!) and I are big planners and we (along with my parents) wanted to be very involved in the whole wedding planning process. We decided, a few months out that we would benefit greatly from Randi's guidance and support with all the details and intricacies that come with having a wedding at our family's home. I cannot say enough nice words about Randi. She was our savior when we realized we were in over our heads and she helped us pull off one of the most fun weddings I have ever been to (though I suppose I am a bit biased...). When I called Randi, we immediately hit it off. When I got off the phone with her, I realized that we had talked for over an hour! She is so easy to talk to. A few days later, she sent me a detailed plan for how she could help us achieve the wedding of our dreams. I was amazed that she had taken the time to write up such a detailed plan even though we hadn’t signed any contract with her yet. Upon receiving the plan, it was clear to me that she understood our vision and who were as a couple, and that she loves what she does. We didn’t talk to any other planners - we hired her right away! Throughout the process, Randi was there to talk through plans, problem solve, and keep us calm and focused on what really mattered: us getting married! We were full time dorm parents and teachers and she took all of the nitty gritty details off our hands so that we could focus on the fun things like personalization. She made planning so easy! In the week leading up to the wedding, I realized that my dress didn’t fit quite right. Randi immediately put me in touch with her seamstress who agreed to travel to where I was to help fix the dress, when my tailor said he couldn’t do it. This was not the only time that she saved the day. There were countless other small details that looked like they might not turn out quite right, but Randi always found a way to fix everything and helped our wedding go off without a hitch! Now that our wedding is over, I honestly miss Randi’s presence in my life. Aside from being a fabulous wedding planner, she is also just genuinely one of the kindest and most caring people you will ever meet. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made in the planning process. Because of her, we were able to be fully present at our events and focus on what really mattered. If you’re looking for a planner, hire her! You won’t regret it.
