I recently had to rent a bunch of chairs for a conference i hosted in Salt Lake. I rented a thousand plus chairs and they got them to me very quickly and helped me set them up for the conference. The conference went off without a hitch thanks to Hoopes! The price was also very fair for the chairs!

Mediocre service. I was planning to keep my poor experience to myself; however, it recently came to my attention that my photos are being used on this website, without my knowledge or permission, and that makes me very angry. I recently had my two year wedding anniversary, but I still fume to myself about my experience with Tonya when I think about my wedding day. Invitations: they forgot to include the return stamps in the invitations, which is just sloppy. Bartending: we went with her recommendation for bartending service, and that was a huge mistake. The lines were SO long. The "bartenders" were practically children, who did not know how to use a keg, people were waiting forever in line to get a cup full of foam. They piled trash next to the drink stands. Water: there was none! It was 105 degrees and there wasn't water accessible for people to drink. This is an example of the reason you hire a wedding planner, so you don't have to think about these things. Wedding favors: we paid money for macaroon party favors for the guests, and when I went inside at the end of the night, they were just sitting on a table in the kitchen. Was I supposed to put them out? Your experience may be different than mine, but my impression was that Tonya was in way over her head.

I worked with Angela for our wedding at Deer Valley this Feb and she was such a pleasure to work with! She managed working with our vendors easily, the venue looked beautiful the day of, and most importantly she was a calming presence throughout the experience which is what you need in a coordinator. Everything went super smoothly and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

We just had a wedding in Park City UT, which was not wasy to plan, as we live in the Washington DC area. We were able to pull off a very successful event due to the help of Tonya Hoopes. For the amount of work she put in on our behalf, I believe we underpaid her for her efforts. She became a trusted advisor and friend of the family due to her sincere desire to ensure we had the perfect event. Unfortuantly, we had a very difficult time with the company who provided the venue and food. Tonya ran interference for us and helped resolve many of the issues. By the time of the wedding, no one would notice that things were so difficult in the planning process. Without Tonya's help, I can only imagine the issues that might have popped up. Tonya not only helped with much of the plannning, but she also provided many of the decorations at the event, which I would highly recommmend using her for. She was there all day from the rehearsal to staying till the end of the party. It was nice having her running the event like clockwork. Tonya is most receptive to input and fufilling the requirements of her clients. Although she was not expensive, she was worth every penny and much more. We liked her so much that we even tipped her twice to show our appreciation. She took on more than she signed up for, but never complanined. Our family could not recommend her more to anyone thinking of having an event of any type in the Salt Lake area. You simply cannot pull off a successful event without help and Tonya is the best we have ever seen.

Hoopes made the whole experience of decorating and designing my wedding a joy. We originally were not planning on hiring decorators; we were going to rely on friends and family to do setup for us. However, after some discussion, we decided to go with Hoopes because of their decor rental variety and high recommendations from others. Our decorator was prompt, communicative, and reliable. She understood what I was looking for as far as the aesthetic, and helped me put it together beautifully. The best part was that I was able to sit back and relax with my loved ones on my big day and not worry that the venue was going to look like the wedding of my dreams! Thanks, Hoopes Events!

This review is for Fleur and Stems which I believe is a part of this company considering they have the same address. I had the worst experience with the flowers I received for my wedding. The bridesmaid bouquets consisted of one flower and some weeds, the cake flowers weren't even the same kind of flower as the rest. The groomsmen boutonnieres were radically different. Some were a tiny flower, some were a weed. Absolutely pathetic. The centerpiece flowers were ridiculous and dead. I paid over $900 and received probably $150 worth of flowers or less. The corsages fell apart within the hour. Everything about these flowers were 100% pathetic, and a rip off. I would absolutely never recommend this group to anyone. Do yourself a favor and go to Trader Joe's or Costco and buy your flowers, you might actually get some that are alive and more than one dozen roses for everything.

Hoopes Events was great and friendly to work with! They provided furniture for our President's Reception and everything came together nicely. The furniture was in great condition, everything was set on time, and they went above and beyond with accommodated last minute needs. I would definitely consider utilizing their services in the future.

I had the pleasure of working with Tonya, Roberta, and Hoopes Events this past weekend at a very elaborate Indian wedding. I was extremely impressed with how organized Tonya was and how smooth the entire wedding felt. We switched rooms a few different times to allow the venue to flip the rooms around and Tonya coordinated it all like a champ. What I appreciated most about Tonya and Roberta was that they are both FUN and not the 'stressed out' type of wedding planners that are often out there. I would absolutely recommend Hoopes Events!

Hoopes was amazing. Angela helped us make our big day spectacular. We waiting a little late in the game to get to the planning and even though that was case she helped us get everything off without a hitch. We had lots of special requests, from elaborate decor, to games to a Harry Potter themed candy bar and Angela made sure to help us make everything go smoothly. She was great at making sure we covered things we wouldn't have otherwise thought of so that there weren't any surprised. People are still coming up to us, months and months later talking about how beautiful everything was and how cool the decor was. Angela played a huge role in that! We are so happy we had her help and would absolutely recommend her and Hoopes to anyone who needs wedding (or other event) help.

Very disappointed with Hoopes. Weddings are stressful enough and when your Daughter in law has a vision of what she wants you hope that the Florist listens to details. For her bridal pictures, the bouquet was not even close to what she wanted,. Then wedding day our plan was to pick up flowers for Temple at 8:20 then to recieve a call saying she would be late to take kids to school. It’s Their wedding day! ( very unprofessional) Then no back drop, had to call another company. They leave with out a word. So we had to start decorating ourselves. Then they show up an hour before reception starts to finish. We ultimately are grateful we brought flowers from luncheon which were way better looking and a lot cheaper than what we got from them. I never leave reviews, but we are very unhappy with all that went on. And the Morhere wrist flowers fell apart within an hour. Grooms flowers fell apart as well. Just not the quality we wanted on our kids wedding day. Maybe it was a bad day, but not impressed. They threw things together in the end and I think maybe she was the owner was trying hard and was sweet. It all worked out in the end, but should not have been this way. That’s what you pay people for so we don’t have to stress.

We really wanted to have a traditional wedding with a ring-ceremony, cocktail hour, sit-down dinner, and dancing. The Hoopes team helped us create the perfect timeline to fit in with our temple ceremony, and helped take all the stress off of us and our families - from rehearsal, and set-up, to take-down, timing, and everything in between. They were so flexible, easy to reach, had great referrals and recommendations, took care of managing all of our vendors, and really captured our vision perfectly. We loved every aspect of our wedding and never once worried about a single thing! They were priced affordably and worth every penny for their services! Everything was absolutely stunning. <3

We planned a destination wedding in Park City with the amazing help from Hoopes Events. From the first phone call, we were impressed by the professionalism, friendliness and enthusiasm of each person at Hoopes. We were paired with Angela and we couldn’t have been luckier. She was attentive and responsive to every concern or question we had during the process. Angela accompanied us on our site visit and met with our vendors which we greatly appreciated because she took the time to really understand our “vision” and what mattered the most to us. We used several rental pieces from Hoopes including chairs, linens, and vases which looked great and were well priced. The week of the wedding was enjoyable as we were confident that our wedding planner was working with all of our vendors and setting everything in motion. The day of the wedding ran perfectly as Angela created a perfect timeline for our needs and took care of everything so that we were able to enjoy the day without stress. I cannot fully express how much we loved Hoopes Events, we would highly recommend their services. Angela was the best wedding planner. Angela’s kindness, efficiency, and compassion helped make our wedding a dream come true.

Tonya Hoopes and Hoopes Events were AMAZING for our wedding. We immediately felt comfortable with Tonya and didn’t interview any other planners. We were a NYC based couple looking to plan a long-distance wedding in Park City, Utah. We planned multiple events over the course of 4 days and Tonya helped us through every step. Tonya is extremely competent and good at her job. She immediately understood our vision and gently steered us in the right direction. One of the things we like bes, is her understated nature and her strong network of professionals. Instead of trolling website for hours looking for the right vendors, Tonya gave us several suggestions for local vendors she trusts and works with, she facilitated the introductions and let us decide who we felt best with. Once the decision was made, Tonya followed up on all the contract and logistical matters. One of the best things I can say is that we barely spoke with our vendors after the initial calls, yet everything was perfect on our wedding day. I don’t know what went on behind the scenes, but it was magic. Tonya and her team were present and extremely active the month-of, week-of and day-of. On the Thursday of our wedding weekend, there was a fire at the hotel where our 30+ rooms of guests were staying. By the time Tonya called us with the news, she had solved the problem. All our guests moved to a different hotel and the rest of the operation was seamless. I cannot stress enough, how amazing a ‘pivot’ like that is. It takes a real professional to solve a problem that big by 10:45am. Our wedding was seamless, the timing was perfect and the ballroom was beautiful. She and her team are wonderful and we highly recommend Tonya Hoopes and Hoopes Events.

Tonya with Hoopes Events is the best wedding planner we could have asked for! She and her team made our wedding a dream come true. Their attention to detail, responsiveness, professionalism and dedication to helping us stay within our budget were characteristics that we had a hard time finding in any other wedding planning company. They managed to do all of this and more. They turned our vision into a better reality! They provided the planning and décor. We had an Indian wedding and they worked hard to assure that we had everything we would want and need. I did not have to worry about anything during the planning and day of events because they took all of the burden and just let us enjoy. I cannot say enough complimentary things about Hoopes. After interviewing with a few other planners before meeting with them, I can undoubtedly say that they are the best wedding planning/décor company and I would highly recommend them to any wedding of any culture or religion because they are unmatched!

Hiring Hoopes was the best decision I made I found Hoopes online through reviews so I want to be sure to share my feedback! We were thrown quite a curve ball the day of my wedding in that due to a completely unforeseeable situation, our venue became unavailable. I work as a project manager and can admit I am a very hands-on and organized person. I originally did not plan to hire any additional planning or coordinating services but finally decided an extra pair of hands would be helpful. Even if everything had gone according to plan, Roberta & Shelby were SO much more than just the extra pair of hands I thought I needed. There was no way any of us could have predicted the last minute venue change, but Roberta & Shelby handled it flawlessly. Without them, no amount of my organization or planning could have pulled off our wedding the way they did. Roberta was incredibly professional. She notified me early on of the changes, but only after she had time to begin working out a new action plan. I appreciated being kept in the loop, but also appreciated that she didn't call me the second the news broke...informing me of problems without potential solutions to offer would have been extra stress I didn't need in that moment. Roberta & Shelby were also absolutely in sync with Park City Resort and all of my other vendors. The communication and coordination was excellent. Because they had both taken the time to get to know me and understand my vision in the weeks leading up to the wedding, they did an amazing job of recreating our decor in a new venue space. Everything was exactly how I would have liked to see it, even though I wasn't available to provide any input. The planning leading up to our wedding was also perfectly executed. Roberta & Shelby asked the right questions, ran with my ideas, and prompted me to think about different approaches when appropriate. Roberta & Shelby are both extremely capable and professional, but what makes them stand a part from other professionals in your field is how genuine they are. They genuinely wanted to make this wedding my dream wedding, and they went above and beyond at every turn. Roberta even offered to hold our guest's baby during dinner so the couple could enjoy their meal. Although this wasn't something I saw, at least 20 of my guests did notice and made a point to tell me how amazing the Hoopes team was! That's exactly the kind of detail only a person genuinely committed to delivering an above and beyond experience would even think to do. My husband (!) and I are blown away by the HOOPES team.

I am happy to recommend Tonya Hoopes of Hoopes Events. Tonya tailored her services for our daughter's wedding, fitting our needs, vision and budget. Her excellent communication skills were key for us as our bride and groom live on the East Coast, we live on the West Coast and the wedding was in Park City, Utah. Tonya responded quickly to our texts, e-mails and phone calls. She listened carefully, asked detailed questions and confirmed replies on issues, both big and small. She also had a great rapport with the venue staff, the caterer, the photographer and the DJ which helped things run smoothly. On the big day, Tonya orchestrated the event like a maestro. Her experience was apparent, and her professionalism shined through. She was calm and collected under pressure, making it all appear effortless. There was a nice flow to everything, and she created such a beautiful setting. Best of all, we knew we were in good hands so we could all relax, have fun and enjoy our special day. Thanks, Tonya! Angela Menlove at Hoopes helped my (now) husband and I plan our destination wedding in Salt Lake City a few weeks ago. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Angela and couldn’t have possibly had a better experience. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, and because Angela was so organized and on top of everything, we got to truly enjoy and be present for the day. From the beginning, Angela was a complete joy to work with. She’s lovely, friendly, and was always completely on top of every single detail. She never dropped a single ball, and made sure our many vendors didn’t either. Because we live out of town and are very busy with our jobs, we made only two trips to Salt Lake in advance of our wedding (and only had two total days of planning on the ground there). She gave us excellent vendor referrals. Coming from out of town, we had no idea where to start and couldn’t take the time to meet most of our vendors so we were a little nervous, but everyone we hired on her recommendation was excellent. She also provided a lot of knowledge and expertise when it came to rentals, and really helped us stay in our budget by giving us options and suggestions at different price points. We had a pretty unique hybrid Hind-western ceremony. Angela was familiar enough with the Hindu wedding traditions and local Hindu priest to provide helpful advice on that front as well. Finally, I’d like to add that we shopped around for wedding planners and Hoopes offered very competitive pricing.

There has been a TON of incredible improvement with the floral department. Kylee does an INCREDIBLE job. She is very kind and responsive and will get you exactly what you want. She is very talented and will not only create the most beautiful arrangements but works well with every customer to make sure it is to their liking. You don’t need to worry with Kylee.

I used Hoopes for my wedding in June of 2018. When I met with Tonya to plan decor for my wedding I had nothing but good things to say about her. Unfortunately, she did not deliver for my wedding day. More than half of the decor was completely wrong and not used. I would never recommend Hoopes or Fleur and stems for anything. They seem like they care until the day of your wedding and they hope you don’t notice how awful and cheap everything looks.

My wedding was absolutely beautiful! We were having the reception in a church cultural hall. You couldn’t even tell after they were done. Everything was draped with beautiful lights! I was in love. The designer I worked with, Hayley, was so nice and thoughtful! She helped me think of great ideas and ways to tie my theme together. We didn’t have to do a single thing. It was also priced really well for the amount of work that went into it.
