We found out about Treasured Heart Events through a friend who had used Ashlee for her wedding. I was so nervous that our weddings would turn out exactly the same as my friend’s as we had also booked the same venue. As soon as Ashlee created a design board for us, that doubt quickly vanished. It really was amazing how she could take all my random design ideas, Pinterest boards, and my husband and I’s often clashing styles, and create our dream wedding. Countless friends have told us our wedding was one of their favorite weddings they have ever been to, between the design and the seamless flow. I have to say, as a very Type A person (with Type A mother), it was nice for both of us to be able to give up pretty much all of the responsibility on the wedding day, knowing that Ashlee would handle anything that came up. She was very organized, but also creative and, most importantly for me, a calming presence. I loved our pre-wedding design meetings, because I still felt like I got to make most of the wedding decisions and make my wedding my own, but I didn’t have to deal much with all the logistics (Ashlee’s wedding timeline was a life saver!). Ashlee has some great relationships with some really great vendors which made me feel more confident in our vendor decisions. Also, we loved the charitable aspect of Treasured Hearts. We actually had our wedding favors be donations to two of our favorite charities and Ashlee graciously sent her donations to our charities (rather than the organizations the company typically donates too). Overall, I don’t know how brides do a wedding without a wedding planner and I can confidently say, we would not have the wedding we are so proud of (and published in a magazine!) without Ashlee.
