The wedding day was more than what we expected and a day we will never forget!! My husband and I can honestly say there isn’t a thing that we would change if we had to do it all over again. Meredith was amazing to work with! She provided several excellent choice vendors for each area to allow be to choose my favorite. She always answered emails or texts promptly. She kept me on track with everything throughout the planning process, which was especially important as I would forgot to follow through at times. When one vendor (I chose before hiring Meredith) cancelled less than 2 months before the wedding, Meredith was able to find 3 other DJs that were available for our wedding day the same night! I knew our wedding day would go smoothly through her being there and the vendors she recommended! And she still managed to exceed my expectations! Everything was perfect on our wedding day! We were able to actually eat our full meal at the reception. Meredith was checking on us throughout the night making sure we didn’t need anything. She was able to fix every problem that arose throughout the night (bridesmaid my dress zipper was broken, my bustle broke, unplanned guest dietary restrictions, etc) without struggling. She was even able to fix my bustle while I was visiting with guests, so it didn’t take me away from the event. Her and her staff were also there helping my parents as needed too, which helped my mom enjoy the night so much more! Everyone kept commenting on how calm my mom and I were before the wedding and throughout the wedding and I know that is because of Meredith and her staff! They helped give us a night that well exceeded my expectations! Truly best day ever!

From our initial meeting with Meredith, she was attentive in following up with our intended schedule. She listened to our plans, suggested ideas and further modified when ideas changed. Meredith made herself available to us literally all-day long. We work in varied global time zones and no matter when we texted or emailed Meredith, she was incredibly quick to respond. She offered us multiple choices irrespective of the category, be it food, venue or entertainment. In many cases we needed to change plans, given we were accommodating four different events but she navigated each situation seamlessly. There is no way these events would have happened without her and every single event was perfect. We would definitely utilize Significant Events again. Significant Events was professional, organized, suggestive, and supportive. We lacked for nothing in the process of coordinating our wedding and the additional events. We certainly look to recommend the team at Significant Events to other groups but even more so look forward to personally working with them again. Meredith was A+ in both of those areas and the reception went very smoothly. This was a large reception with plenty of moving parts: 400+ guests, 2 cocktail hours, ceremony & reception in the same space, and a DJ after party until 2 AM. Working with Meredith and Significant Events is great. She thinks 10 steps ahead of you and through every option you could imagine. We had a long engagement and were happy to have her full service package, as she helped us from start to finish. We had a very specific look in mind that had some unique features and Meredith and her team of contacts made it happen. Everything ran smoothly on the day of the wedding, the guests were treated like VIP’s, and we had the time of our lives. Somehow Meredith and her team are invisible yet always there. You don’t notice them at all until you need something, and then they’re always right there. Our schedule ran perfectly down to the minute – yet we never felt rushed. We got our meal and a quiet few minutes to eat; she even stashed us some appetizers also before we did our entrance. She pulled off a surprise for us and kept a secret version of the itinerary. We never had an empty glass or a worry about how things were going. We didn’t deal with any of the vendors on our day; Meredith and her team handled all of that, and she even managed some of our friends and family! Can’t say enough good things, it wouldn’t have been the same without Meredith and Significant Events!

Meredith knows how to get things done and make it happen- no situation, question, or problem phases her, and she knows how to handle it. Being in graduate school while planning my wedding, I was short on time and attention for making decisions, but Meredith made everything as easy as possible by narrowing down vendors for me so that I did not have to spend time looking for people available on my date. She kept me on a schedule and made sure things were getting done, which kept me from feeling overwhelmed. By the time our wedding weekend began, I knew everything was done and I was able to enjoy the weekend knowing Meredith was in-charge. I would recommend Meredith and the entire Significant Events team to anyone planning a wedding or an event. No detail goes unnoticed with these ladies. They have relationships with reputable vendors in many cities, which can make your life so much easier when planning a big event. The only time I felt truly stressed during wedding planning was before hiring Meredith! After that point I always felt like she had everything under control and I could actually enjoy planning. I loved all the vendors she recommended, and I felt I could trust her opinion when I asked questions about them. I think it shows how much she got to know us as a couple because we got to the point where she knew what I wanted better than I did! The wedding weekend went like a dream from my perspective. Even though we did a rain plan it felt perfectly planned and exceeded my expectations of the day nonetheless.In fact all of our guests had no idea everything was changed for weather because everything was so organized the whole time. During the ceremony and reception, they felt like there were 10 of Meredith cloned to make sure my husband and never needed anything. I was never sure if I needed a wedding planner until I started the initial planning; now I recommend her to everyone I know. I knew from the beginning that she was the best person I could have found to help plan our perfect day. I can’t imagine getting through all the planning without her assistance. I especially appreciated her superfast responses via email and even more so via text for urgent issues. She was honest about things when she knew they wouldn’t work and provided alternatives that were actually feasible, which was an enormous help. She was instrumental in making last minute changes and was a great resource in explaining expectations and how things actually work at events/weddings with vendors and guests. I felt completely comfortable leaving all the major day-of decisions to her and, even if it had rained, I know she would have made the best decisions for our reception. The wedding weekend went perfectly, and it was because of Meredith’s exceptional ability to plan and coordinate events. Among the many examples of how Significant Events came through for us: My husband and I were celebrating with our friends after the wedding when my husband got a call from his dad asking if we picked up the bag with all of our wedding cards. My husband and I didn’t remember seeing this bag in our hotel room, so (in complete and absolute panic) we called Meredith who went to our hotel, got permission to enter our hotel room, and found the bag of gifts that we had apparently brought into our room without realizing we had. Needless to say, it was very handy to have someone like Meredith around. In short, Significant Events helped make our wedding one of the best nights of my life. I have since recommended Meredith to every one of my friends. She has planned gorgeous and thoughtful weddings for my friends and is currently planning my little sister's wedding.
