If the food was good this would have been a 5 Star experience. Staff was great, actors were good. The whole production was excellent. Audience participation is part of the show and if you have friendly tablemates it really helps the experience.

The real victim here is you. This was a poor production. It was boring, lame, and the food was awful. I work at Nursing Homes and get better food than what we were served. The only thing that was good about it was the hostess was nice. The place was hard to get to. Never been to Fair Park in Dallas and the traffic was awful! We were 30 mins late. They should warn people about the traffic on the website. The outside of the Old Mill Inn was nice but the inside was nasty and not what I expected at all. I thought it was classy and upscale.

Good times good times!

The show was great. The dinner was just so so, but we had a great time. I recommend seeing this.

Went here last weekend to celebrate my wifes 30th Bday. The entertainment part of the show was spot on. The murder mystery/who-dun-it is right up her alley, so we had a good time there. We loved that as soon as you walked in the door, it was game on! As far as the dinner portion, the food was not the greatest. But thats alright, as we didnt go to some fancy Steakhouse or anything like that. The CFS was kind of bland, and more salty than anything and the peach cobbler desert was also almost tart, like there was no sugar whatsoever. At one time there was someone that came by asking about the food, but not sure if she was an actor or just another guest trying to get information. We did say about a 7/10 on the food. But would definitely be back for the entertainment portion of the show!

Joshua Mount

Over rated and cheesy not to mention the food is not good and comes out cold, the murder mystery however is alot of fun.

I’ve been twice and both times, we had a blast. The actors reached us and we were genuinely duped by an actor at our table, whom succeeded in her role as another guest like us. We had fun, we met other guests and even met up with some later. The venue is unique, the food was good and we took an UBER so we could enjoy the bar. We will definitely return. Goodwin Barrymore

It was absolutely AMAZING!!! ;-)

We went to this experience due to the great online reviews. I must share that, in my opinion, the reviews are way overstated. The Old Mill Inn is old and outdated. The acting was ok and the plot was fun. The food was as cheap as cheap can be. For the hors d'oeuvres, they offered cheese cubes, Keebler crackers, strawberries and grapes. The meal was a cheap chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. Every guest in my party cringed at eating this meal. It was tasteless and cheapened the whole experience. Plus, we asked for gluten and dairy free for one person in our party that had an allergic reaction to those ingredients, and they cannot accommodate these simple and very common requests. For the price tag, this should be a no brainer. In my opinion, this is way overpriced for the value. The mystery was fun and the acting was o.k. but it was cheap, cheap, cheap. Keep looking for something else. Not worth $65 a ticket.

Went there last night with my wife Kym to celebrate our first anniversary! From beginning to end we had a terrific time. Everything was first-rate- from the food to the decor to the staff to the actors. It's crowd participation, and it begins the moment you walk in. It's not over the top, or hokey. Everything, in my humble opinion, is just right: atmosphere, setting, presentation. It's all to promote fun and enjoyment, with a great casual pace. And the best part: MY wife turned out to be the "killer's" "accomplice" and "lover"!!! PRICELESS!!

The atmosphere and actors along with the employees were great

We had a great time. Menu can use an upgrade but overall, very fun experience.

This experience was so amazing.

went to murder mystery last night we had an awesome time ! it was our first time the event was in play right away and there was a ton of socializing to get clues. it was fun suspecting eveeybody and the actors blended in so you could not tell who was who. Everybody was super friendly which was great because we didnt know anyone going in. It was not awkward at all. The clues were hard so you have to pay attention. i socialized a bit too much so i didnt solve the mystery but i dont care ,i had a blast and would definitely do it again. The food was fabulous , it was at the Omni Hotel Park West , amazing venue! the DJ Melody from Melodies and Memories was Awesome!! there were people on the floor dancing all night after the mystery was solved. she played her own playlist but also played special requests. It was an awesome event!

I offered this for an auction at my church. We got to sit together. We had a lot of fun and I got to know people better!

This was a great experience for the wife and I, we had a lot of fun and would highly recommend this event to everyone. The dinner party was just the right size as there was not any crowding when you had to get up and look for clues, it was ever interactive and our party loved it. Great Job AKA Joe Smoe

We had a good time, and enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately the food was awful. Maybe the vegetarian plate would have been better. The hostess was gracious and the staff was all friendly. Maybe just a few tweaks to really make it a great evening.

Suzy Devereaux

Didn't get to go, but wanted to!

Adrian Reyes

Was a very fun experience. Enjoyed it a lot

We had a fun time! Really enjoyed ourselves and had fun being part of the mystery. The food was mediocre at best and there were way too many people, but despite that we enjoyed the show. Just a warning to anyone else going, they are not strict about the 13+. We were hoping to enjoy an adults only evening but the largest party there were a dozen giggling 8-12 year old girls running around all evening. In my opinion the show itself was definitely not appropriate for children due to the content of the murder case we witnessed. Leave your kids at home! And perhaps Keith and Margo could better enforce an adults only policy. Otherwise, they should change the story and focus on throwing children’s parties only. If you’re okay will all that, it makes for a fun evening.

James Roden

We had a group of 6 people, all had a good time and enjoyed the interaction. The food was good and the staff very freindly.

Read the mixed reviews before going. Food: Don't go for the food. Flavorless chicken fried steak. Poor quality instant mashed potatoes. Frozen mixed veges cooked, but served lukewarm. One bite of roll & I was done. Show: Good enough but contrived and awkward in parts. Felt crowded when looking for clues. Enjoyed talking to the people at our table of 6. Venue: Knew it was an older facility. But it definitely needs a good deep cleaning. No excuses for that. Not convinced it was worth the money.
