Gourmet Gals did our wedding in January and they were absolutely phenomenal! From the tastings, (where they genuinely listened to what we were looking for), to months of prep leading up, to the actual wedding day they were professional and kind. We were so impressed we even had them do our rehearsal dinner! They were so helpful in figuring out exactly how much to order and finding dishes that everyone at the wedding would enjoy (including gluten free and vegetarian options). Their sauces were particularly good. I was sad afterwards because I wanted more and then we were surprised with an extra two meals packed up and waiting for us! The extra touches and effort made the day perfect. If you are looking for a caterer you won't regret Gourmet Gals!

We had a Fiesta theme with Mexican food for rehearsal dinner and everything was DELICIOSO. Everyone loved it! For our wedding day we got so many compliments on how delicious everything was!! Best mashed potatoes ever!!! Cassandra from Gourmet gals was also our wedding planner. We were so lucky to work with her in our special day. She made everything perfect. She always stayed calm and had everything under control. Very professional and sweet gal. Thank you for making our wedding weekend perfect Cassandra!!!

Gourmet Gals Catering was the in-house caterer at our wedding venue and our food was AMAZING! I received SOOOOO many compliments about how delicious our food was. The process was incredibly easy. I had a great phone conversation with Sherri regarding likes and dislikes, allergies, absolute musts, absolute noes. Sherri then sent a suggested menu with a few different options in it. We met in the storefront for a tasting and were absolutely in love with everything we tasted. The items she suggested made us feel as if she had known both my now-husband and me for years. She was able to pinpoint exactly the types of foods that we would love and convey them in a menu that would appeal to everyone at our wedding. I would absolutely recommend Gourmet Gals for any of your catered event needs!

I have worked with Gourmet Gals for years through the company that I work for. They are THE BEST. I am so grateful to have them as a vendor and for everything they do to make our events perfect. Gourmet Gals is truly have an amazing company with great service, the nicest people, and fabulous food. They have done everything for us from catered lunches, happy hours and even special events. We recently had a Diwali Celebration of Lights with traditional Indian desserts. They researched traditional Indian foods, tested it, and served it perfectly. They really can do it all. I know others who have used them for weddings, showers, and other events. I've only heard raving reviews. Gourmet Gals will not disappoint!

Wanted to share our experience with Gourmet Gals. From the day my now wife Jada and I met with Cassandra and her team everything felt right. As our life became busier between moving, dealing with cancer in the family, and many other issues Gourmet Gals went above and beyond and rocked this wedding for us. I have to admit initially I was reluctant to hire "someone to do wedding stuff" as it would be more expenses to add onto our budget. The Gourmet Gals team was very courteous, professional, and provided a resort style appearance to their set up. As the event went on their team work, coordination, and exceptional customer service just blew my expectations above imagination. Guys, don't blow this off if your soon to be bride mentions this type of work, you will not go wrong with choosing Gourmet Gals Catering & Events. "The best food I've ever had at a wedding, hands down". We heard this multiple times after our wedding. It wasn't just great food for a wedding, it DELICIOUS. It wasn't even just the food that gets five stars. The entire experience was everything we could have asked for. Sherri and the entire team made this process super easy. If you're looking for catering, this is absolutely the place to go. Amazing amazing amazing!

Gourmet Gals catered my daughter's wedding this past Saturday night (3.16.2013). I would like to tell you that not only was I impressed with the food and presentation, but so were ALL the guests. I had so many people come to me during the reception to tell me how amazing the food tasted, especially the crab cakes. Having gone through a wedding for my other daughter six months ago, I can truly attest to the fact that Gourmet Gals is a number ONE catering vendor, which I am sure can please every bride. Secondly, I would like you to know that Sherri Le Wicker and her staff are wonderful to work with. Sherri was extremely flexible, accommodating and patient, as well as one of the most genuine people who wants to work with you to make your day special. Fortunately I do not have any more daughters to marry off, but if I did, Gourmet Gals would be my caterer. Gourmet Gals recently catered my wedding (11-18-17) and they did a PHENOMENAL job. They were very accommodating with my budget and requests - especially the last minute, week before the wedding requests! They put together a meal that was truly inspired by my now husband and mine's personalities and love for savory food. Their stuffed mushroom caps are incredible; I say that with certainty because my husband hates mushrooms and specifically requested these for our wedding! Cymbre was really the greatest volunteer Wedding Planner that day, as I did not hire one. She made sure everything was on time and that I was able to enjoy myself, food, friends and family, and most importantly, the most special day with my husband! Gourmet Gals is the best of the best when it comes to food, planning, and FUN! I will absolutely seek them out again if I ever throw another party!

Gourmet Gals well exceeded my husband and I’s expectations for our wedding! Their entire process was so smooth discussing our menu options, budget, and day-of details. They even worked with another company to do our linen rentals to take off an item from our to-do list and made things easy. They also helped set up the tables and chairs at the venue. My husband and I chose to do a private 15-minute meal before the rest of our guests had dinner (highly recommend!) to make sure we could eat. They had a table set up for us with our food, signature cocktails, and silverware ready to go! It made it so quick and convenient and we were able to fully enjoy the delicious food and our time together after pictures. Our guests loved the food and thought the buffet was well organized and the options were good for everyone! We also added a roast beef carving station that was was a hit and the kids had “kid-friendly” boxes to eat if they didn’t want the more “mature” food items - it was great! Working with Cymbre and her team was a breeze. She was always attentive, detail-oriented, helpful, and patient if we had a delay in getting any information to her. I highly recommend her and Gourmet Gals! They even included the sweetest card in our takeaway bag for the hotel night. They thoughtfully packed meals for us and our cake (all 5 flavors!) and we enjoyed it after the wedding - still tasty several hours later and re-heated. Seriously, the best catering group and so personable! I can’t recommend them enough!

So, as I reflect back on 2017, there are only a few experiences that truly stand out, oddly, or maybe not, most of them center around Gourmet Gals Catering. Why, you ask...well, 1) In October, I learned that I would be coordinating our office Christmas Party and was in charge of, literally, EVERYTHING so I immediately thought of my favorite Austin caterer and when I called I had the good fortune to speak with Cymbre, for the first time in several years (I’d been out of the Austin area for quite some time), and it was no time had passed, she was just as wonderful and detailed-oriented as ever AND, as an added bonus, my December date was open in their books; 2) when it came time to discuss the menu, she provided me with the best options based upon our conversation and, not only that, but I had a very special hors d’oeuvre request (shrimp wrapped in prosciutto w/wasabi sauce – if you haven’t had it, request it…SO GOOD) that they no longer offered, and she resurrected it just for me, I couldn’t have been more thrilled; 3) the site visit/planning meeting was amazing…Cymbre knew exactly what to do, how to utilize the space perfectly and then set her plan in to motion, and was extremely communicative throughout the process of creating the perfect evening; 4) on the day of the Christmas Party, the rental company showed up exactly when Cymbre told me they would (any coordinator knows how difficult that is to manage) and they had everything with them that she ordered; then, Cymbre and her amazing team braved the freezing rain and snow, to prepare and serve the most wonderfully delicious meal…from the passed hors d’oeuvres, to the sit down duo entrée dinner, to the AH-MAZING desserts…it was all incredible, no, not incredible…EXTRAORDINARY, it really was and everyone loved everything. I am still receiving comments to this day! If you are looking for a caterer to make your event perfect, look no further than Gourmet Gals Catering. I’ve had the pleasure of working with them on and off for over 15 years and I hope to work with them for, at least, another 15 years! You will not be disappointed, I guarantee it!
