Known for their East Texas BBQ, the venue is also an outstanding facade of a tiny Texas town and perfect for a relaxed and casual Texas-themed event. The food was awesome and the service was good. Carolyn, Holly and Brad bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be back!

Downtown Dallas has a Jewel in Eddie Deen's Bar b Que live show Ranch. Few blocks from Kay's place ( convention center). Walk or make team plans to eat and relax when playing Volleyball. Enjoy !

Incompetent service, from start to finish-just one example-for desert they served small individual pies in a tray for the table, but no small plates. After 15 minutes minutes of waiting for the small plates people pick up the pies and eat with their fingers...THEN the staff starts passing out plates ! If you have an event go somewhere else

Don't judge a book by its cover, the inside is well decorated to look like a western town at night. Food is great. Had plenty of space for events but men bathrooms need more stall space (literally nose to door) and it has pay parking surface lot.

Very nice southern event venue. This place is good for casual events. It's very easy to get to by dart and it also has a large and easily accessible parking lot. Inside is nice and clean, including the restrooms.

I would rather not rate sub-standard cuisine. I have recently has the displeasure of sampling the Tender Beef Brisket (which was actually ’Chopped Beef’ for sandwiches?! I know, how can you mix those two up? It is like a Hamburger at an Iowa DQ was actually a Sloppy Joe, without the Sloppy Joe sauce... Maybe the cooks went to the same culinary school?) and the bland potato salad. There was also a non existent relish tray, non existent ‘Fresh’ Cole Slaw and non existent Home Made Yeast Rolls. Oh let me sample the cuisine of a failed attempt at... 1: The Brisket was chopped beef in what could only be described as a bright red, 3 Gallons for 99 cents Bar B Q sauce, which was bitter and sweet all at the same time, which covered a lightly toasted Hamburger Bun (or was the bun the roll?). 2: The potato salad was anything but flavorful, it was more like easting plain mashed potatoes with a hint of vinegar and a dash of sugar... OK, more like a really tiny pinch of sugar. 3: Failing to stick to the menus is a big no-no, especially when the email goes out only a few hours before the event. Man talk about a FUBAR'ed event. If you ever have to get catering from these people... Sample the food they actually bring to the event first. I wound up tossing my plate in the trash and headed to the 99 cents store for some chips, cheese and a can of Off-Brand Vienna Sausages. It seriously had better flavor. They also had Chicken, but given the event was outside, I risked enough gastronomical torture with the Potato Salad

I've been here twice and I enjoyed both times. It's a fun place. We've had dances and proms there for our church. The place is big and the food is always great. The restrooms are clean. There is an electronic bull riding activity and a few other activities.

Attended an event here during the NRA annual meeting. There was crazy wait times for food/drinks, but once you got to the front of the line, the prices were fair and the food was great.

We had our company party here, was a lot of hype. Food was blah, the chicken fried steak was small as was the chicken fried chicken, the sides were what you expect from the school cafeteria. I would give this place half a star

We were with a large group that took the entire place over for a night. Pulling into the parking lot and having to pay $7.00 to park was the beginning of bad to worse evening. The food was not as advertised, I found the hot food line to be cold, the staff serving the food rude. There was only one busser for over 1000 people who acted like he was drunk. By the time we were ready for desert they were out and in no rush to get some out. Drinks of either ice tea or water again not ready. There is no excuse for the lack of staff, food or drinks for a group of 100 men the reserved the place many months earlier.

BBQ ok but screwed up the event I attended. Paid for a band but the sound man didn't get the system working until the 3rd set. Eddie fired the event coordinator, who was very good, on the day of the event. Other bad experiences.

I was working an event that had dinner at the ranch. The atmosphere was fun. there was a mechanical bull, armadillo races, quick draw competition and pictures on a longhorn. The band was pretty good too. Of course I had to try out the BBQ.The food was terrific. The brisket and sausage were both good as were the sides. The cole slaw was just how I like it, fresh and crisp, not soggy. and the best part was the peach cobbler and ice cream desert. I can't wait until my next event that is held there.
