Amberley at Blue Boot Events was my day-of-coordinator, and I can't say enough GREAT things about her! She is one of the most organized people I've ever met. She seriously thought of every little detail about my wedding when we were talking at our meetings leading up to it. On the day of my wedding, I just enjoyed it! I was never stressed about the details, because I knew she was well-organized and could take care of any last-minute fiascos. It was truly one of the happiest days of my life and I enjoyed every part of it (I mean it - I never experienced any stress on my wedding day, and so much of that was due to Amberley!!). She helped with every little thing, from making sure vendors arrived on time, setting up chairs and flowers, and showing our caterers where to go. Her extensive knowledge of wedding and event planning came in handy with helping me know how much is customary to tip our vendors, providing input with the schedule of our wedding (it's confusing to decide when to put the dances, cake cutting, and speeches!), and even little details like recommending that we get some food wrapped up from our caterer to eat later that night at the hotel! It was also so comforting to have her around for little emergencies, like needing Tide To Go for a stain on my dress, breath mints when necessary, and safety pins and bobby pins for hair/dress emergencies. She thought of everything. Amberley made sure that I didn't lift a finger on my wedding day! There was one moment when we were taking photos and I was concerned about the time. I asked someone for the time, and Amberley responded, "don't even worry about that, girl! That's my job - you just have fun." Thank you, Amberley and Blue Boot Events for being highly professional, kind, and hard working. I will recommend this company to everyone getting married in the Austin area!

I hired Amberley as my day-of coordinator 2,5 months before my wedding even though at first I, an inexperienced and, apparently, very ambitious bride, hadn't even thought I'd need one! And I'm so glad I did. Amberley was a HUGE help to me and now, looking back, I know that without her I wouldn't have had the wedding I had: the PERFECT one. I was coming to her for advice, and she was listening and then providing a great one (like when I was stuck on the floor plans for the ceremony and the reception; and what she suggested was simply perfect!). She was always available when I needed her. She offered complimentary decorative pieces, then delivered and set them all up and did such a wonderful job. She set up the tables for the reception and it was EXACTLY how I envisioned it: the tablecloths and the runners, the arrangement of the candles and the flowers on the tables, the dinner napkins and the napkin rings (that she made HERSELF!) - everything was perfect, and I’m very particular about things. She was so kind to offer to pick up and drop off the uplights I was renting; she knew how to set them up, and the color and the placement of them was, again... perfect! My venue didn’t have a “suite” for me to hide, and she improvised and set one up (she even brought pipes and drapes to cover the glass door). When my strapless wedding dress started falling down even before the ceremony started, she was the one who came to my rescue and saved me (for that, I’m in her debt forever). During the whole evening, she was calm, with a great attitude and flexible when needed (there is always something that goes not exactly as you plan). At the end of the evening, she packed and boxed all our items and made it very easy for us to pick them up the next day. And, most importantly, she thought of saving two large slices of the wedding cake for us (something most couples don’t get a chance to enjoy on their wedding day!). Amberley is not only experienced, knowledgeable and professional, she’s also a joy to work with. I highly recommend hiring Amberley. With her, you’ll be in good hands!

Amberley of Blue Boot Events helped us plan our wedding from start to finish. She thought of so many details and timing issues that I couldn't have known or anticipated. She was so easy to work with even when i was stressed out. On the day of, she took so much stress out of my day.
