I need to give two separate reviews- one on the work performed and one on customer service. I got married at a ski lodge and Table 4 Decor did an incredible job decorating. It looked beautiful and I was very pleased and impressed with how everything turned out. They know exactly how to work with an area to highlight the beauties of the area and decorate where needed. I couldn’t have pictured it to look better. I was not impressed with customer service on the other hand. Poor customer service is my BIGGEST peeve. My last email conversation had said that they would meet me at 9am the day before my wedding, so I got up early, left my family (this was a destination/vacation for us) drove 30 minutes to unlock the doors at 8:30, and waited. They don’t open until 10, so I was unable to get ahold of anyone via phone or email. Then when expressing my disappointment on the phone after the lady I spoke with told me they weren’t coming until the morning of my wedding, I felt like she was completely unapologetic and kept making excuses such as “we called several times” and “it was outside of my control”. Ironically I had not one missed call or voice mail and included my phone number in several emails. I absolutely believe I was forgotten about which was even more frustrating to me knowing I booked Table 4 Decor for that weekend months prior to anyone else booking them, according to what I was told. Made the day before the wedding stressful, especially when I could have spent the 2.5 hours of my day I spent waiting on them/driving doing other things or enjoying vacation with family. No exceptions or excuses for this inconvenience at all. It would have been a different story had there been some sort of communication. Also nothing was done to remedy it. We paid full price and they came the next day and I had a friend let them in. As I said, performed beautiful work but I could have absolutely gone without the added stress. I’m writing this not to take business away from this decorating company, but in hope that the company uses it constructively to improve their customer service and so couples know what to expect.
