Let me start by saying that normally I wouldn't write a negative review but this one cost me A LOT of money so I had to and i don't anyone else to experience this.
I had attended several events held at the location on Dorchester Rd along with other events decorated by them and was very pleased with what I saw, so I decided that I would have my birthday celebration here, to my surprise I was NOT pleased with them. About 2 weeks prior to my celebration, I received a telephone call from the assistant to set up my final consult (my ONLY consult), so we scheduled for Wednesday the 10th of April at 4:30 pm, so I left work early on that day so that I would not be late and when I arrived the parking lot was empty and the building was DARK, so I gave the benefit of doubt and thought they were just running behind schedule, so I waited for a few minutes. No one ever shows up, so I go to the door and there was a note stating that they had to close for the day (I do understand that things can come up, but this is a business and they should have at least given a courtesy call that they were closing early and we needed to reschedule the appointment for another time). I called and didn't get and answer, so I left a message.. So I leave and get NO return phone, another day goes by and still NO call. So now I am a little worried and I give them a call back on the Friday 12th of April, and the assistant states " I AM WAITING FOR COURTNEY TO CALL ME BACK SO THAT WE CAN RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT" I say Okay and await the phone (this was on Friday). Friday, the weekend and Monday comes and goes with no phone call, so finally I called back on Tuesday morning and the assistant states the EXACT same thing that she said on Friday, we are now 4 days out from my event and I have no choice but to wait because I am PAID in FULL ($1500.00) Courtney calls me back about an hour later and we have about a 30 second conversation about what I was wanting for the party (she literally ask me 3 questions and said okay). The day of my party, April 20, is here and I must say I cried at the LACK decor and thought that went into decorating for my 50th birthday party. The theme was 50 Shades of Pink and there very minimal pink in the decor. There were 10 tables and maybe every other seat hand a PINK napkin on the plate everything else was white or grey, it just appears that my event was a 10 minute set up and I would just have to deal with it, because they were to busy with something else. I don't feel that there was any thought put into this at all, I could have easily just rented the space, did my own DECORATING and saved myself $1000. Words CANNOT EXPRESS how DISSATISFIED I was with the service or the decor that I paid $1500 for and I will NEVER use for anything else nor will I recommend them to ANYONE.
