Even though my Mom has great taste and is wonderful at entertaining in her own right, we wanted our wedding to be fun, relaxing, and perfectly beautiful without having to run ourselves ragged. Calder Clark delivered and then some- she was one of our best picks along the way.

She planned our wedding, and 3 years later, all of our guests are still telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Where do I begin? Calder Clark and her team are the best. As an incredibly detail-oriented person and having planned events myself in the past, I was shocked at how relaxed I was at my own wedding. They think of EVERYTHING. They know all of tricks of the trade, give the very best suggestions and options and never ever force anything that doesn't feel right. Calder's design eye is second to none - I have never seen such gorgeous custom pieces and concepts. The best part? Calder Clark + team are perfect in every way. My daughter's wedding weekend exceeded all of my expectations. We couldn't have come up with such an amazing plan, with such exceptional execution and flawless delivery. Everything about it from start to finish was a dream. I knew when I signed on with CC that we would be in good hands, but I never dreamed that every detail would be so special and unique to our family and to the couple. Thank you is not enough. Here are some tips from our experience: • let them pick your “dream team”- they know whom to tap to pull off the best affair • they're like hiring a top notch interior designer to infuse the couple’s style into the weekend • CC is an insurance policy you can’t afford NOT to take out • they leave no stone left unturned • they strike the ideal balance between what’s beautiful + what’s practical • the best thing you can do is give them creative license + trust up front- you get the best of them that way- why would hire someone to tell them what to do?! Calder, Anayis, Caitlin, and their "tribe" are like family to us- and we wouldn't redo or revisit a single THING- memory of a lifetime.

Calder and her team planned our wedding, and we could not have been more thrilled with the result. She and her team flawlessly executed the basics of the wedding (photographer, band, transportation, etc). But what really sets her apart is the incredible creativity she brings to making each event unique. I can liken it best to a set designer - Calder and her team can create whatever mood or style or setting you want to invoke, and they do it at the highest level of quality. Many planners can execute timing and number of guests, but Calder creates an atmosphere and carries the theme from start to finish. She also has exquisite taste, great style, and an extensive network of contacts to create an incredible event. Many of our guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended!

The fact that the groom is logging on and writing a review of the wedding planner must really be proof about how good Calder Clark and her team were to work with. We got married three years ago this May and we think about that day all the time. It's usually because someone is telling us how amazing our wedding was and it was like a fairy tale. Most of the time, these praises are a little uncomfortable because people are literally gushing over the details, setting, atmosphere of the night. Calder personally covers every aspect of the planning. She can deal with father-in-laws just as well as she can deal with floral patterns. I consider Calder a friend and we still talk to this day. Calder runs a first-class team and executes the wedding with such thought and detail. As a Philly guy, Calder embodies everything I could've imagined when people mention "southern hospitality."

Once I saw one of Calder Clark's weddings on Style Me Pretty, I wouldn't even consider having anyone else as my wedding planner. Her weddings are unbelievably gorgeous yet classy, and each one has a unique feel that really showcases each couple's individual style and personality. We knew when we hired Calder Clark Designs that our special day would be beautiful, but we were completely blown away on the day of our wedding. No detail was left unturned - from the custom bars, to the luscious flowers, to the stunning chandeliers and other items sourced just for us, Andrew and I felt our wedding was truly one of a kind. The entire day and night flowed beyond smoothly, something I have come to realize after attending many weddings is nearly impossible. The team has everything imaginable down to an exact science! The ladies of CCD are not only extremely talented and professional; they are amazing to work with. Andrew and I feel we have gained lifelong friends in Calder and Caitlin, and are so happy we chose to work with them for our wedding.

{Calder Clark and her team are the crème de lá créme of wedding designers- do not pass go, do not collect $200, simply book them. Some basic questions we asked ourselves: Whom do you want to talk to for the better part of a year : the CC team. Whom can I hire and then (basically) walk away and enjoy my engagement, all the while knowing a team of masterful women are hiring, pinpointing, designing, + fine-tuning a stunning wedding for us : the CC team. Do we want to hire someone to tell them what to do, to re-invent the wheel, to do their job for them, to feel like we are having to elevate them vs. the reverse? Clearly not. I have known Calder + followed her work since I was 22, and it was a total treat + thrill to come back into her “world" to plan Dan’s and my amazing wedding day almost 8 years later. Calder Clark and her team are absolutely amazing, and that is a true understatement. I first met her when she took on my sister's wedding affair, and executed it to her exact specifications off of a single interior design photo. My sister had no idea how to explain what she wanted, but it was as if Calder already knew it - and they nailed it to a tee! After that day, I knew I would one day HAVE to have them as my own wedding planners, and so I did! I live out of town, which naturally would worry you when planning a destination wedding, but Calder, Caitlin and her entire team made the entire planning process completely stress free - what more could a bride ask for? They were able to create aspects of the day that I thought were only possible in my dreams (cheesy, I know). I hoped to have alfresco lighting for the cocktail hour, but I was fearful that there would not be anything to tie the lights to. No problem! Calder created a beautiful rustic wood display to mount the lights to. Not to mention, the day was everything I had dreamed of and flawlessly managed. I truly felt like I was showing up to someone else's party on my own wedding day. It really helps to have an expert standing by you throughout the entire process. Use Calder Clark and I can guarantee it will be a day you will never forget!!
