Last night I worked a wedding with Paige and her team at The Providence Public Library. From start to finish, the wedding couldn't have gone any smoother! Paige was responsive, flexible, and truly cares about the couples' she is working with. The service was phenomenal, and all the guests were taken care of. HIGHLY recommended!!

Their food is top notch, their displays and decor are gorgeous, their staff is attentive, professional and are an absolute delight to work with. This is to share an example of how not to treat customers and it has nothing to do with food. We called Morins because they were on the Cemetery's caterer list. After a delay, we were finally contacted by Event Manager, Megan Franco. Keep in mind, this is a Memorial service. Here's the email, "....does require us to provide staff on site for the duration of the reception and it also does require that we provide linen. You will see both of those items on your invoice. Our service includes complimentary biodegradable serving utensils. Please let me know what you had in mind for your menu. Typically people order from our Upper Crust package that includes a variety of sandwiches or from our smorgasbord package. Without knowing your guest count, the Upper Crust starts at $13.95 per person." We then actually spoke with Megan Franco to simply request sample menus from previous memorial services and explained we would want something other than "complimentary biodegradable serving utensils". Megan subsequently calls back and states she has spoken to her manager and Morins refuses to provide service, not much of an explanation. Not wanting plastic plates and utensils is wrong? Our expectations are too high? Hot food is a problem? There really was not enough contact for a knee jerk refusal of service......rather, the tone appeared to be, "we can not be bothered because this is not a wedding" and you are asking too many questions for Morin's to be bothered. We found Megan's and her manager's transparent callousness to be rude, unprofessional and if Morins can not handle a funeral with some sensitivity, why would one want Morins to do a wedding? If I could leave negative stars I would. Someone else will provide the thoughtful service on this sad day with warm food and without biodegradable utensils. Morins not up for the task. Response noted- This means you rarely will be able to service funerals since death is an unplanned event and you are indeed tuned into the heavily planned in advance wedding industry which would naturally be busy on Saturdays. If you truly do not like to create bad impressions and disappointment my suggestion is to remove yourself from cemetery catering lists since its contra to your business model......you should have never received a phone call from us.

We just attended the Valentine's dinner at Mount Hope Farm. An exceptional dining experience! The wait staff greeted us with a Cupid's potion cocktail and were wonderfully attentive for the rest of the night. The menu was a perfect combo of dishes followed by dessert. The only one of the 4 courses that had a detracting element was the scallops. They were a little raw and the winter root vegetables that came with the risotto were crunchy instead of cooked through. A small infraction considering how amazing everything else was, and that they served 4 courses of very different to prepare foods seemlessly. I would attend this event again and suggest working with this catering company. So great!

During the event our wedding attendant somehow knew exactly what we wanted before we knew it ourselves, while Rachael and her event team made sure the evening was perfect. With Russell Morin it’s not just about providing a dynamic gourmet menu, it’s about the total experience. I work within the wedding and event industry and have the privilege of working with some of the leading event professionals. Among all my experiences, Russel Morin (especially Rachael) was second to none. We could not recommend them more.
