(Wedding) Destination Mormon Temple Wedding in TX "When we decided to get married it was a no brainier that we wanted Kelly and Angelic Affairs to help us plan our destination wedding from California to Houston, Texas at a Mormon Temple that was special to my fiance and her family. As Kelly wasn't Mormon she as well as some of our guests and vendors weren't allowed in the temple for the ceremony. And given our budget, this was a way we could hire a professional Wedding Planner we felt comfortable with without needing to pay to fly her out if she didn't need to be there. Kelly planned our wedding for us remotely from Rhode Island. She saved us a ton of time by reviewing our budget, researching vendors we needed, and provided us with several vendors for us to connect with and choose. She also prepared a timeline that kept everyone that was hired on the same page for every activity occurring that day. She also ensured every detail was covered, that all of our vendors had what they needed to perform their tasks, and reviewed vendor contracts for us as well as handled negotiations to get us better rates. The morning of our wedding, Kelly connected with us and our vendors to ensure that everyone had showed and that everything was flowing smoothly. If you're looking for a Wedding Planner who can handle a destination wedding, we highly recommend Kelly at Angelic Affairs! For someone who had never been to Houston, TX she did a fantastic job researching vendors, reviewing maps, venues, hotels to make sure we were in close proximity to everything which saved us lots of time. Working with Kelly on flower arrangements and decoration for our New Year's Eve wedding was a fantastic experience! She was quick to respond to email, really paid attention to my ideas and themes when we met in person, and everything exceeded my expectations the day of. Not only that, but when there was a small confusion over what time the bouquets were supposed to be delivered, Kelly dropped everything and drove them to where we were taking photos to make sure that the bridesmaids had them in time! I would HIGHLY recommend working with Kelly and would recommend anyone to her looking for an experienced florist or event planner!

My husband and I wanted a private romantic ceremony in Sao Miguel. I set out to find a wedding planner to help us plan our special day. Not knowing much about the Azores or the Island of Sao Miguel, Kelly helped us pick the perfect location for the ceremony. With her local knowledge, she was able to recommend some amazing spots for us to stay while in the Azores and communicated directly with the local vendors for our wedding day. Kelly kept in regular communication with us before we left Canada and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. She met us in Sao Miguel before the wedding to go over last minute details. Kelly made sure she took care of all the little details so I wouldn't have to. On the day of the ceremony, we were relaxed knowing all we needed to do was show up. The floral arrangements, bouquet and boutonniere were just stunning. The floral chandelier that Kelly made along with her partner blew us away. The picnic lunch was so special and the dinner setting gorgeous. Kelly absolutely nailed our vision and feel of the wedding day. It was such a special day for us. I would highly recommend the services of Destination Azores.

If you don't think you need an event planner, it's probably because you haven't met Kelly. I can say with 100% honesty that our wedding would not have happened without her. By the end of it, I thought I was marrying her not my husband. We used her for our backyard wedding in August and she went above and beyond expectations. We hired Kelly as our partial wedding planner but she also did our stationery, flowers, decorations, EVERYTHING. She is so amazing I cannot even being to describe how much we appreciated everything she did for us. She was there for us every step of the way from the very beginning. Kelly kept us calm, cool and collected at all times which is so important when you're planning a wedding. Also, her mom is very involved and is the sweetest woman ever. I could go on for days but just trust me, you need her. We plan on using them for other events in the future and have already recommended them to multiple friends. You will not regret hiring Angelic Affairs...they are absolutely worth every penny and more. So much love for her!!!

I was planning the wedding from a different city, so it was really great to have somebody near PA that could help me. Some things I really liked about Kelly: On cost - she is very reasonable. I had a budget that I was determined not to go over (<25k, including her & EVERYTHING else) & I like that she had a flat fee that wasn't even very much more than most wedding planners charge for day of only help (which I was going to do-- why spend so much $ & not spend the little extra that will let you & your loved ones actually ENJOY the day without running around like a maniac!?). She also had great suggestions for some of the vendors (specifically the flower people & the rental people) -- I think that the time & money some of these vendors saved me probably paid for what I paid Kelly. She was pretty responsive with email, which I appreciate since I work in an office a million hrs a day and I can't talk loudly on the phone or even call at normal times of the day always. I think Kelly really shined on the day of stuff - everything at the venue was brought in and I still have no idea how she pulled it off in the very short amount of time we had. The 2 assistants she brought day of were great too. And the week leading up the wedding was totally stress free & very calm, which I totally appreciated."
