David and his team were essential in making our recent wedding day as stress-free as possible. He was super responsive and patient through my number of emails leading up to the wedding, all of the food from hors d'oeuvres to dessert was AMAZING, his staff was courteous and attentive, and on top of that, David also coordinated all of our table & linen rentals and even took care of lighting for our venue. For such a "DIY" venue we rented, it was so helpful to have him as a reliable, single point of contact for so much of what we needed. He was also very knowledgable, and offered great ideas and advice. We highly recommend Simply Smooth for your next event, big or small!

I cannot say enough good things about Simply Smooth! David and his team are so professional and so talented! I contacted him to cater our wedding a little over two weeks from our event and he made it happen. Our consultation was so pleasantly easy even though we didn't have the clearest idea of what we wanted. David was able to take our vague ideas and make them into a wonderful menu that suited all of our 30 guests. On top of all that, David saved us all of 4 days before our event when the baker who had originally agreed to make our wedding cake basically went AWOL and stopped communicating with us. The baker he coordinates with was able to make our 3 tier wedding cake from scratch and not frozen even on that short of notice! And most importantly Simply Smooth's food was marvelous!!! They make everything fresh from quality ingredients and on site to boot and the food reflects that. Highly, highly, highly recommend Simply Smooth on that aspect of their business alone! All of our guests loved their meals and enjoyed the wonderful service provided from the lovely support staff as well. You absolutely get what you pay for from Simply Smooth! One last note- even on the day of our event, David and his team saved the day. The signature drink containers we had ordered online were defective and therefore not usable and somehow even though that was realized VERY shortly before our event start they were able to materialize gorgeous drink dispensers. I am so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding so lovely!

Hired for wedding transporation. I personally called a week before the event to confirm day and time of pick up. No limo showed up for any part of the wedding. No one picked up the "emergency" phone number. 2 weeks and multiple phone calls later I personally drove to their place of business. Laurin was very apologetic and refunded my money. The reason for the limo not showing was a medical emergency. I've made my peace with his explanation. Importantly, the lack of contingency planning and highly unprofessional communication on Simply Smooth's end will prevent me from reccomending this company to anyone.

((All the bad reviews are from years ago with a previous owner)) David was extremely helpful in planning a menu, providing tables and chairs, and everything else we needed for my graduation party from Lehigh. Eric set up everything as we wanted and all of the platters were picked up the next day! The food was amazing and exactly what we wanted - I was wary about ordering something like sushi from the same place as I was getting pasta and sandwiches but it was one of the highlights! Highly recommend.

Amazing food! Laurin and his staff were great. I picked Simply Smooth for my outdoor summer wedding and Laurin knew my vision before I did. Everything came together perfectly. On top of people raving about the food, Laurin was able to help me pick tables chairs, linens etc.. and have them delivered at a reasonable cost. The mahogany farm tables were gorgeous and the silver candelabras made our tent look so romantic. I can not thank them enough for the perfect wedding.

Worse. Caterer. Ever. I have been an events planner/coordinator for quite a few years both in PA and in Nashville, TN. Simply Smooth is completely unprofessional and talked over me. After the bride had to change their venue (separate issue) the amount that Simply Smooth asked in payment was too much and they were too high maintenance. I called to cancel the event with Simply Smooth, reminder, no contract was ever signed, and Laurin yelled at me over the phone and insulted the whole thing. NEVER EVER use Simply Smooth. They are not the best despite what they think and their customer service is worse than Walmart.

My daughter Tara's wedding was held last Saturday 10/22/16 at Miller Symphony Hall. Simply Smooth did the catering. It was amazing. Laurin and his staff did awesome job. Laurin walked us all the way through with every detail my daughter and her fiancé wanted. Our tablecloths to our chairs to the amazing food was over the top. People raved to my husband and I all night. We are still get messages on the memorable evening. If you are ever need of a caterer, please do not hesitate to use Simply Smooth. MOB Trish Kutzor

I can’t say enough good things about David & his team. The food was incredible. Our guests kept asking who catered, & we were blown away by the paella!! They were also so helpful, making sure all the details for our wedding were taken care of & coordinating with the other vendors. Amazing!

Simply Smooth is simply the BEST !! I hired them for my wedding and I'm so glad I did! I can't say enough good things about the owner David and his entire team. He is extremely accommodating, detail-oriented and professional and made sure that everything was just perfect!! I had pages full of special requests and they nailed of them! The food that their staff prepared was exceptional and we had many guests remark that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. I couldn't be more pleased with my decision to go with them!! Thank you for everything!

I made a bad decision based on promises that went unfulfilled by the owner of Simply Smooth. The food was NOT what was promised. I should have listened to all of my friends when they said to use Maison Blanc!

Extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism. We wasted a lot of our time with the owner, going over a menu and everything we wanted for our wedding. He said he would send us a proposal the next day he never did. Days went by I called, left messages, only once did David answer and tell me he was just finishing up the proposal and was going to send it to me but never did. He continued to ignore me for weeks until finally I got an email not even a phone call, giving me some kind of excuse and then on top of it says the old owner from over 5 years ago already booked something for the same day as my small wedding. Can we say lier?? I believe he found another event that paid more and screwed us over. He then assumed I already found another caterer which I hadn’t. This pushed everything back for us. We wasted so much time with this place. My suggestion if you want a really good caterer who you can trust go with Cathy’s creative catering!
