My Husband and I chose the Germantown Cricket Club as our wedding reception venue for its historical old-world charm and gorgeous grounds. And boy did she shine with the added English garden florals, black tie attire, and live music flowing through the open-air porches. But this review really is intended to highlight Chris, the director of catering and his staff. Our wedding was INCREDIBLE because of them. Chris worked his tail off to ensure everything was perfect. His staff kept our guests pampered while laughing and dancing right along side them. We can't count the times we've been told by someone it was the best affair they've ever attended. The GCC is truly a gem, and I'm so happy with how seamless and enjoyable Chris made the planning process.

Visited the "Ballroom" for the event "Denim & Diamonds Wine Classic" - the event was awesome and the facility, WOW - beyond beautiful the grounds were just so awe inspiring and very elegant - so timeless and simply beautiful - like I said beyond beautiful, all staff members were amazingly polite, helpful and an ace at their position. Would def recommend this venue for your next event, especially a wedding!

Attended for a church event. Not enough hor d'oeuvres. Hardly any food for dinner, & it wasn't even good. They even ran out of coffee. Book your party elsewhere.

I was there for my Aunts 95th birthday party. The food was good - but the best thing, as usual, is the staff. They are the nicest people to deal with - you are always greeted with a smile. Nothing was a problem for them. A special food order was handled right away . I can't say enough good things about them!!

Grounds were perfect for the wedding I attended and the staff was very helpful, but the food was not up to par. The chicken breast were dry even though they were in a gravy. The salmon was also dry and flavorless. The veggie mix was bland. I expected the food to wow me and I was sorely disappointed. The oatmeal raisin cookies were the best part of the meal.

What a great place to play tennis and be part of a warm and friendly community. The grass tennis courts are in beautiful condition and are a joy to play on. There are also har-tru, red clay, and indoor hard courts, as well as squash and a swimming pool.

I visited this place since my friends were renewing their vows after 25 years. They used the facility's ballroom. I was actually shocked. It appeared to be an all white diamond in the rough in a predominately black neighborhood. The location was clean and well kept, ts members were inviting and cordial while its diverse group employees were equally kind and helpful. I do not live in Philadelphia but if I had, I would have loved to join. I live a mile away from mine in Chester County.

GCC's Summer Tennis & Fitness Membership Is a Must-Get! Having been a perennial tennis guest at GCC for more than 8 years, I owed it to them to join. Since it's just me these days, I didn't need the full membership. But they have tailored a new Summer membership for people who just want to play tennis and use the fitness facilities. You also have access to the bar and restaurant and many new member mixers. It's great for client, family or just personal entertainment. And the historic clubhouse and acres of grass courts are a awe inspiring setting!

It's a lovely club in a poor setting. However, that really just affects the scenery whilst at the pool or back tennis courts.

Never knew this place existed. I went there for a sponsored event. It appears that it's very popular judging by the amount of people in the pool and the numerous cricket courts. Food was tasty and the staff very friendly.

Incredible staff! This came to us from a very happy visitor. My name is SS and I was at Germantown for the national mixed squash tournament. I wanted to express to you how courteous, genuinely friendly and wonderful your staff are! Each person made us (the group I was playing the tournament which was JK, WC, WH, PH and BK) feel so welcome! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They remembered us, asked how we were doing, were fun to chat with and hilarious! The quality of the food, the presentation/decor and the service were all the best I have experienced recently (all restaurants included). Tee was SO helpful and professional and Deanna "smiley", Cache, Kenny and Shenell were all a pleasure to deal with. Jarmain answered all my questions (I have celiac) and KILLED it with the brunch. All around it was, genuinely, a stand out experience. It's rare that you feel everyone is a team and cares a great deal about the quality of their work and that should be recognized! I've been to tournaments all around the main line and we all agreed your team made a definitive difference in the overall experience. If I ever move close enough to join a club I would choose Germantown because of this experience and I will be sure to share it with anyone who is considering it! Thank you, Sara

What does inclusive mean in this context? I looked at the preview video and saw mostly white men, women and their families. I'm a Germantown homeowner considering joining if I can afford it but couldn't find pricing information anywhere on the website. I'm really interested in the inclusive aspect but didn't see anyone who looked like me represented on the film.
