Working with Manda, Jess and the team at Mae & Co Creative was a dream come true. That sounds corny, but it's the truth! Every aspect of our day was absolutely perfect, our ceremony and reception venues looked so stunning, and the day flowed so seamlessly. Every single piece of decor was intentional, beautiful and perfectly placed. The tables were so gorgeous and the flowers were some of the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen! But, I knew that would be the case when we chose Mae & Co! What constantly exceeded my expectations was Manda & Jess! Throughout the entire process, their attention to detail, their design aesthetic, and more importantly their positivity and constant support was more than I ever could have imagined. They both made me and my husband feel confident and secure every step of the way. Even as we encountered last minute hiccups, I never doubted we would figure it out, cause we had Mae & Co in our corner! On the day, I never felt stressed or worried, just excited to see everything come together. My confidence in Mae & Co. never wavered! In short- they're the absolute best. If you're planning a wedding, elopement, etc. hire Mae & Co... it'll be the best decision you ever make!

I cannot overemphasize how amazing it was to work with Manda and her amazing team! My husband and I went with the 3 Carat package (month-of planning and a couple hours of styling) because we knew I would want to do a lot of DIY decor for the wedding but would need some backup as we got closer to the date. Best. Decision. Ever. Not only was Manda on top of EVERYTHING the day of (people like to ask what went wrong the day of our wedding because apparently something always goes wrong, but not for us! Manda was ON IT), she answered all of my questions quickly and so kindly during our whole 11 month planning period, making sure I knew I was in great hands. The weekend before our wedding Portland got hit with a historic snowstorm. I was having a complete meltdown, stressing about what would happen if any of of vendors got snowed out and trying to come up with a variety of back-up plans. I frantically emailed Manda and she assured us that no matter what, she would be there and take care of us. She told us that if we needed to shift gears to a small elopement-style wedding because of the weather, she will handle it. If we needed to take over the nearby McMenamins because our venue is closed, she will arrange it. I'm not going to lie: I was still crying, but for the first time in days it was because I was so relieved! A HUGE thank you to Manda and her team for making our day (and the months prior!) run so smoothly. We seriously couldn't have done it without you!

I think it was as soon as the day after Ian and I got engaged that I was like "MANDA PLEASE PLAN OUR WEDDING!!" Ian and I didn't have a date or a location set, so we just found a date that worked with Manda's schedule because we knew we wanted her to be part of our day years prior! To date, it's one of the best decisions we made and we are so grateful to Manda, Jess, Kelsey, and Johnny for all of their hard work!! Our wedding was rather challenging in the sense that it was a backyard wedding and didn't come with the luxury of having venue specs like guest capacity, space for reception + ceremony, etc. We asked that the ceremony and reception take place in the same area which required a flip and Manda's team executed it beautifully and in record time! Thank you to her team for accommodating us and our vision! Jess + Kelsey-- thank you so much, you two are truly a dynamic duo and we could not have had such a perfect day without your hard work and kindness! We cannot praise Manda and her team enough! She has great taste and an impeccable eye for design. Every choice is made with consideration for the couple and the venue. Nothing is done standard or haphazardly. She listens carefully to your ideas, she's proactive about bringing new ideas to the table and communicative while turning your ideas into realities. She collaborates well with every other partner and the people at the venue. She manages everything flawlessly behind the scenes. On the day of the event, she is organized and attentive to every detail. She thinks on her feet. She keeps the mood of the event upbeat and the energy high for every attendee. Most of all Manda is a great person. Someone we now will call a friend. During a time when we needed her most, she was there for us. Though she has a busy schedule, she went above and beyond to make our day more special than we could have ever imagined. We cannot recommend her highly enough. Without hesitation we can say she's the absolute best wedding planner out there!

Hiring Manda and Sue Blue for day-of coordination was the best decision that we made during wedding planning. She helped us with so many of the practical details from creating a timeline to the rehearsal. It took so much of the stress off of my shoulders and enabled us to truly enjoy our wedding day without having to worry about anything. If anything went wrong, we didn't even know about it. The only regret I have about hiring Manda and Johnny is that I didn’t hire them to plan the whole dang thing! I knew before we even got engaged Manda was going to be at our wedding. One way or another, I knew I NEEDED her there. We were able to get our venue the day before our wedding, so all morning my family and I were there setting up, making flower arrangements and trying to get everything organized. It was a little hectic and stressful to say the least. The MOMENT I saw their Subaru driving down the driveway it was like a million pounds was lifted off my shoulders and I could breath again. I could now direct all the questions to her and know that she was on our side. Throughout the whole month, she coordinated with our vendors, made sure our day of timeline was perfect and helped transform a barn into one truly gorgeous venue. I left the venue on Friday while it was still a little disorganized and arrived on Saturday to something that was way beyond my wildest dreams. Everything she touches turns to gold. My entire family was completely blown away by her and Johnny. From being my MOHs hype girl because she was I think about to pass out due to nerves about her speech, to cleaning up spilled drinks and making sure the night stayed on schedule was a just the littlest bit of what they did. Honestly, I can’t put how I feel about them into words. You’re just going to have to trust me on this and hire them. If you think you don’t need a planner, coordinator or stylist. You’re wrong. You do. You need these guys. You needed them.. like yesterday.

Manda and her crew were hands down the best investment of our wedding. They handled all the little details, but still allowed me to give input and suggestions. It was so fun to work with Manda and Jess! I took on the responsibility of creating our seating installation chart early on, but of course last minute it just wasn't coming together how I had planned. Jess was on it immediately and secured a back up the DAY OF our rehearsal dinner which gave me such peace of mind. And the back up option turned out WAY better than my original idea so I was beyond happy about that. Aside from being awesome coordinators, fabulous stylists, creative designers, event planning rock stars, etc., Manda and her team are just a bunch of the nicest people you will encounter on your wedding planning journey and I could not recommend them enough. It was just the two of us along with several vendors so it was very important that we chose people that we felt comfortable with and had the same vision as we did. Don’t elope without Mae&Co. Before we decided to elope, we started planning a full wedding. But as we started to put together all the details, I got totally overwhelmed. I wanted our vows to be real, to be honest, and I didn’t feel like I could really share my most vulnerable self in front of distant relatives I didn’t know. So we pivoted. I emailed Manda at Mae&Co, and asked if we could switch our wedding coordination package to an elopement – anywhere, anytime. She responded quickly with kindness and empathy, with an amazing suggestion to elope in Portugal where she’d be traveling with an incredible florist and photographer too. We knew we were lucky when we booked Mae&Co - but in when we got that message from Manda we started to realize just how lucky we were. For our elopement, we followed Mae&Co to an island off the coast of Portugal with zero expectations. We wanted the day to be beautiful, we wanted the day to be fully about our connection. And we felt 100% at ease knowing we’d hired Manda to take care of all the details (ceremony location, epic reception site, food, all vendors, stunning rentals, custom placecards - literally everything you could think of). So when we woke up at noon, and spent the full day exploring a beautiful island before we shared our vows – we felt completely relaxed, knowing Mae&Co was 100% committed to making sure this day was everything we wanted. Behind the scenes, Mae&Co was amazing – our elopement was on a holiday, so while we were sleeping, our team went from store to store to find the perfect details for our reception set up, to find the only open grocery store to source ingredients for our reception, and to find a park where we could explore hikes without crowds before our vows. They jumped through so many hoops when things didn’t go to plan, but they made it work! We love Manda and Johnny forever for making this day a reality. We wouldn’t change a thing, not even that “rehearsal dinner.” Elope with Mae&Co, you won’t regret it.

If you’re looking for day of coordination, I cannot say enough good things about Manda and her team. Manda, Jess and Carly were absolutely amazing and I’m so grateful for all of their help on our day! Several weeks before the wedding we met with the team for a walkthrough of our venue and they asked us a variety of questions regarding setup and logistics that I hadn’t even considered yet. Knowing that they were covering all of this so early put me at ease. I had several questions for the girls in the weeks leading up to the wedding including layout guidance and vendor recommendations and my emails were always returned within a day. The customer service you get from this team is unbelievable. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect and seamless. Jess and Carly made sure my layout and decorations were perfect, coordinated the ceremony and were running around all night to make sure nothing was out of place. The timeline provided by the team was spot on and we followed it pretty much to the minute. All our family and friends were raving about how our coordinators were so sweet and helpful! To top it off, we included tear down services for the end of the wedding night and the team took home all our gifts, cards and other stuff we brought to the venue so no one in our bridal party or family had to worry about it at the end of the night. It was so nice knowing that we could leave without packing up a car and worrying about how we would get our things home. I was on the fence about whether I needed day of coordination, because I consider myself to be well organized, but let me tell you – this was SO worth it! Thank you so much Manda, Jess and Carly for helping make my wedding day perfect, you guys are the best!

My Husband & I were married on May 19, 2018. So I may be a little behind on reviews but I cannot say THANK YOU enough to the Mae & Co team. Oh my goodness, Manda & her team made our day so amazing. Our wedding day was so perfect and I think about it all the time :) We hired Mae & Co for day of coordination and my parents still bring up how amazing Manda and the team was and that it was the best money they spent on the event. They truly made our day so special and perfect and really lifted all of the stress of wedding planning away from us. Manda and team are truly incredible. They took the vision I had in my head and made it come to life in our venue. As I was doing a walk through before the ceremony to see how progress was going I knew I was in good hands. Manda and Johnny were absolutely incredible to work with. Manda's style and design speaks for itself.. it's gorgeous (we all know this!!!!) I really can't say enough about how accommodating, lovely and beautifully "behind the scenes" they were on the day of. After finding out that we needed a permit for the location in big sur, CA that we chose at the last minute, they were ON IT and got the permit right away. I would say that they, by far, exceeded my expectations and desires for our elopement. Side note: brides, if you are thinking of an elopement for your big day, DO IT WITH MANDA, it was absolute heaven. Mae&Co thank you for everything, you rock!!

Mae&Co's Manda Worthington is honestly one of the BEST babes in the wedding/event industry, PERIOD!!! So much of my wedding inspo and vision directly correlated with the her style and she absolutely killed it on my wedding day! Manda is a goddess and genius when it comes to styling any space. Her detail, her passion, and her creativity make her one of THE top ladies in the Portland, OR wedding scene, in my personal opinion; but, also she's so THAT good, she gets booked internationally! (She also does RAD workshops with other creative souls all over!). Do yourself a favor if you're reading her reviews or on the fence whether or not to hire a designer/stylist, BOOK HER NOW! (She books up quickly!) I found out very quickly that with the vision I had at our outdoor vineyard venue, I needed to hire a stylist to create all the details like lounge space/ceremony decor set-up/ tablescape decor/etc.....the whole 9 yards. I chatted with her and showed her what I was looking to accomplish and knew that she would make it happen and I wouldn't have to worry even a tad bit. And, of course, it was all just freaking flawless!!! I cannot thank her enough and it was one of the top 3 best hires I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. Mae&Co., YOU DA BEST, Thank you!!!!

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this review. I went in to hiring Manda unsure about whether I needed a stylist for my intimate wedding on the Olympic Peninsula. Looking back now, if there’s one thing I truly regret its not hiring her to plan and manage the whole dang thing from start to finish. From the very first contact to the very last, I truly felt like Manda cared deeply about reflecting our vision. She was incredibly organized, timely, patient, and worked closely with me every step of the way. When I changed my mind on things for the hundredth time, she never even winced or hesitated but always responded with affirmation and quickly got things headed in the direction I envisioned. For someone as busy as she is, her responses were always near immediate and never a repetition of information. I know this sounds minor, but when you are getting bombarded by emails and other things to think about, these qualities are a god send. On the day of my wedding I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. To be completely honest, what I pictured in my mind could not even hold a candle to what Manda designed for us. Even writing this review right now is making me emotional because there will never ever be a wedding as beautiful as ours and it was all thanks to Manda. Walking out and looking down at all the details come together just made me so insanely grateful for her and her husband. From the placement of the tables, to the vision communicated to my florist, to the managing of the rental company, and sourcing of sweet, small details, her professionalism and talent were so evident. She works so well and so boldly with others and does small meaningful things that meant a lot to me (charcuterie board, flatlay for my photographer, Creating a smart seating chart, etc.). I had so many guests ask me where I had found her, who she was, and even had a guest tell me that my stylist was “kicking ass,” and she was. In a world saturated with creatives and especially in the wedding industry, Manda’s work is truly genius and never stale, not something you’ve seen before, and will be even better than what you think you can conjure up. She will spoil you and will deliver you the wedding of your dreams. Thank you for everything Manda! The only thing that makes me sadder than having to see your designs for the last time on my wedding night is not having the opportunity to work with you again.

If it were not for Manda and SueBlue Events, we would not have been able to pull off a magical wedding of 110 people at Clyde Common and the Cleaners at Ace Hotel, just three short months later. We opted for the all-inclusive package and she delivered even more: immediate follow-up, helping my sister plan my bachelorette, stuffing confetti packets, constant communication, and even a true friendship blossomed, just to name a few. Manda pours her heart and soul into her events. We could not have imagined a more perfect wedding and we have her to thank for the organization, execution, and most importantly understanding our vision and bringing it to life. Manda works with exceptional vendors to get quality execution at very reasonable pricing. We looked at other larger, more established companies, none of them could deliver what Manda did, especially providing a personal touch that was above and beyond our expectations. We absolutely recommend SueBlue Events and just wish we had another wedding to plan. We want to do it all over again!! Exactly the same. Thank you Manda, Johnny and SueBlue Events team!! I came across Mae & Co Creative, formerly SueBlue Events, while looking at wedding pictures on Instagram. I remember the exact pictures from a coastal elopement that held my attention and captured Manda’s style. I had looked at other wedding planners in the area, but after browsing the website for SueBlue Events, I immediately fell in love with the attention to detail and uniqueness Manda and her team demonstrated; I do not think there was one photo I wasn’t riveted with on Instagram or the website. From the very beginning, Manda was exceptionally helpful and worked with us to narrow things down (venue, date, etc.) so that we could implement a contract. Her helpfulness carried on throughout the entire planning process and day of our wedding. Manda is a true visionary when it comes to planning and designing an event, especially one as intimate as an elopement/wedding. She is passionate about what she does and it unquestionably shows through her work and interactions with people. Manda and her team have connections with some of the best vendors in the area which further enhanced the outcome of our special day. I trusted everyone completely and looking back, I would not change one thing. If there is something you want but they do not have a resource for it, they will work hard to ensure you have what you want. I say Manda throughout this review, mostly because she was our main point of contact. However, there were others (Jess, Johnny, and others I am sure) who also worked diligently to make our wedding the best day ever! I am the kind of person that knows what she likes but would never be able to bring to fruition what Manda and her team put together for us, especially considering we didn’t really give them much to go off of besides some Pinterest posts. Everyone at Mae & Co is worth their weight in gold and I would highly recommend their services to anyone planning an event!

Working with Manda, Johnny, and Jess was the single best decision we made when planning our wedding. We had put off our wedding for years, daunted by all of the logistics. When we approached Manda last year about helping us design an intimate dinner party-style wedding in the woods, she was so enthusiastic and warm and, true to her word, our wedding was absolutely magical. We decided the night before the wedding to change the location of our dinner and she didn't even bat an eye--she really is just so committed to making your wedding feel perfect. Jess did our day-of coordination and was amazing. She saw to it that the whole day flowed smoothly and that every little detail was thought through (even teaching the flower girls how to throw petals!). Although I could spend another page talking about how much I loved the tablescape, floral arrangements, etc., the biggest gift that Mae&Co gave me was the ability to actually just focus on spending time with my family in a beautiful setting and truly relax and enjoy our wedding. I honestly didn't know a wedding could feel like that (if I did, we would have done this years ago!). Just hire them! I promise you won't be disappointed :)
