Misty, Brooke, and the Luxe team, are amazing! We were planning our Portland, OR wedding from across the country and Misty and Brooke were our wedding coordinators. We'd secured most of our major vendors and had a basic plan, but we needed someone to help us figure out the details and execute, and they went above and beyond that. Misty is a great listener and focused on understanding what was most important to us, but also was ready to share options or an opinion on the decisions where we didn't have a strong opinion. For example, we had an unusual setting for a processional and she recommended the perfect approach. And, when we were looking for something fun for our guests, she shared a recommendation for a photobooth and a magician, both of which we used and which were hits with our guests. When we didn't have a preference about linens, she made a beautiful recommendation. Finally, when we were ready to print programs, Brooke stepped in and figured out how to mimic the print from our wedding invitation for programs- it turned out gorgeous! Misty and Brooke went above and beyond in any number of ways. They scoured over our vendor contracts and caught and confirmed details that we had missed - for example, we wanted champagne passed before our ceremony, and Brooke caught that that detail hadn't made it into the contract. Brooke walked us through each moment of the wedding itself, which was invaluable especially given that we had limited time in our location and we needed their guidance. Brooke remembered every detail from our conversations and made them happen on the day itself. In addition to finding a shuttle for our guests, Brooke secured a fantastic town car for us and our families, and the driver knew exactly what to do. Finally, when we got into town the week of our wedding without having taken any dance lessons, we asked Brooke on a whim if she knew anyone, and she was able to find a great dance instructor who met with us for an hour to give us some moves. It was truly remarkable. At the same time, Misty and Brooke were very clear about the things that we should feel more urgent about in the planning process, which made it much easier to prioritize, which was especially helpful given that we were across the country. And, they were wonderful with our families. Finally, their management of that final day was outstanding. They handled every detail and completely took care of it and we could focus on enjoying our wedding. If you work with the Luxe team, you can feel in peace about the details on your wedding day, and you will be able to focus on the experience and meaning of your wedding. We were so happy with our wedding day, thanks to their support leading up to the event and during. We can't thank them enough!

Our wedding venue, Castaway, recommended Luxe to us. We had a consultation call and meeting with a coordinator and chose our level of service. In the next few months, our wedding shifted from our original coordinator to Misty. Misty, owner of Luxe Event Productions, spent some time to get up to speed and help us really solidify our vision. Though we used Luxe for more of our day-of coordination, Misty was there along the way to answer all questions, make sure we were thinking about all the details, and always responding to my texts and emails in a VERY timely fashion. That is huge! Misty spent extra time with us making sure all the details were in place. Even though talking through those little details may have caused us waves of minimal anxiety in the planning process, it was 100% worth it -- because the day of our wedding, we DID NOT WORRY ABOUT A THING. We fully trusted Misty and her team to execute a flawless vision and event. It was the best, most perfect night ever. We wouldn't have changed a thing. We owe so much of that to the Luxe team. Luxe coordinated everything related to the actual wedding day. Think load-in times, placement, set up, etc. They worked with us to manage our rentals -- we worked with four different rental companies. Misty took a very active role with our catering company to make sure they were completely aligned. The list goes on.. Some vendors think of the bride and groom as their weekend event. Luxe made us feel like the most special bride and groom in the world. We are so appreciative of that! The team is so sweet and we will forever recommend them to anyone who wants the perfect wedding.

We used Luxe Event Productions for full service planning for our wedding, and could not be happier. Brooke, Misty, and Allison are absolutely fantastic, professional and classy in all ways, and they handled all of our requests and questions (and there were a LOT) with aplomb, patience, and grace. Their advice was consistently spot on, and our big day was amazing as a result. There are a lot of moving parts to weddings these days, and ours was no different, but everything we threw at them not only came off without a hitch, we would have to say that the results were even better than we had hoped. We credit this to the fact that they are highly organized, detail-oriented, and deeply connected to the best vendors in the area. We absolutely cannot imagine having done this without them, and recommend them highly no matter what sort of wedding or special event you are planning!

Like any bride I've talked to, on the day of my wedding I was stressed but... I was in my hotel getting ready with my girls not dealing with the many vendors or putting together my decor. I'm positive that I would have lost my mind if I had been forced to deal with all that, but luckily I had Misty and her team. Misty put up with my calls and emails and frequent freak outs in the months before the wedding. She gave her recommendations (whether I followed them or not) on everything from the centerpieces to musicians. Misty is so personable you'll immediately feel like you've found a new friend. Her team is just as young, fashionable and fun as she is and I never had anything but pleasant interactions. Misty is always around if you text! And she'll always give you an honest opinion. On the day of her team seamlessly put my plan B (rain!) into action and helped make my reception look flawless. They remembered all the details and kept the night moving. I honestly would have completely forgotten things that day like my surprise groom's cake! But they made sure everything went smoothly even the things that didn't (like my leaning tower of Pisa cake... review of that to come soon!) In short I'm so very glad I hired them and I have no doubt that my wedding would have been a disaster without them. I encourage any area brides to consider hiring Luxe!

I cannot express with words how valuable my day of coordination package was... Our wedding was a dream come true and it would not have been possible without Brooke and her team. The amount of decor and instructions I was over the top and they did it ALL perfectly. Of course it ended up being 104+ degrees... but everyone still ran around with a smile on their faces while hopefully chugging water and keeping me stress free as I prepped for my big day. Prior to the wedding I can honestly say that they also went above and beyond. They saved me money on my rentals, dealt with any issues or misunderstandings with my venue and even handled and contacted my vendors when I was starting to feel overwhelmed. They reminded me of small details that I most likely would have missed and/or forgot about. They guided me though my timeline which was HUGE since I had never gotten married before lol. I can honestly say that we would not have had the amazing wedding that we had if it weren't for Luxe Event Productions. My husband and I were pretty (naively) determined to plan our whole wedding on our own but as the date got closer, we realized that we were in a bit over our head. She took so much off of our plates and I don't think we would have really been able to enjoy our wedding if it weren't for Allison and the other ladies from Luxe. I can say with confidence that hiring Luxe Event Productions was truly the best decision we made in planning our wedding. I really can't say enough positive things about them. Wow! Allison was our event coordinator and I will say that it was the best money me and my husband spent! We have people STILL telling us what an incredible wedding it was. I have heard repeatedly "we've been to many weddings but we have never been to a wedding this incredible/beautiful/fun/amazing" This was possible because of Allison. (it was no easy feat: we had an forest black-tie wedding) Future brides & groom: I highly recommend it. If you were wondering if it is worth it? Yes!! You do not fully understand the production and work that goes into planning a wedding. It takes so much time and communication with the multiple (caterer, venue, florist, make-up, transportation, rental company, bakery, music, etc...) vendors you will be driven bonkers. We started with a "Enhanced Day Of" and upgraded to the "Boutique Full Service". Allison foresaw and planned for all possible scenarios including rain and it took off so much of the stress. She will listen to your vision and make it reality. You don't want just any ole planner. You want somebody that truly enjoys the art, that is cool under pressure and has a positive upbeat attitude and personality that people (other vendors) love working with. It was such a happy experience that I can't stop thinking about it! I hope to attend more Luxe weddings because they are the best. Thank you Allison!

For a couple planning their wedding outside, rain is the last thing that you want to have to think about. The Luxe team, who has been so instrumental in making every detail of planning so smooth in the months leading up to the big day, went above and beyond to implement a plan B that felt like it was Plan A all along. I trusted in the team's vision to turn our outdoor ceremony into something inside our tent - and saying they delivered doesn't do enough justice to the final product. They managed the stress and chaos of a last minute change flawlessly and never once did we see them faulter under that kind of stress and chaos. The best part was that we did not see the space before walking in to the ceremony and we were absolutely blown away at their problem solving. They knocked it out of the park so much that we thought it was better than our outdoor ceremony space! The Luxe team communicated clearly and efficiently through out the whole process, even including my mother in the planning on the opposite coast. They were patient, knowledgeable, informative, and beyond professional. I was a fairly hands off bride to be and felt immense trust that Luxe would help me pull it all together and respecting what was most important to my other half and I. The ability to connect me with the right vendors, their expertise, accessibility, and accountability were everything needed when planning. How Luxe took the reins and communicated with all our vendors in the days leading up to the wedding to keep everyone on the same page was an invaluable part of the process. Luxe made planning such a big event in our lives almost easy. I cannot recommend this team, especially Brooke and Lauren who we worked with, enough. They are a class act and amazing at what they do.

Luxe did a SMASHING job helping plan my summer wedding! They were flexible on working with me to find a package that met my needs AND fit my budget-- it was obvious that the business owner, Misty, actually CARES about their brides having a great experience, absolutely going the extra mile. My planner Brooke was a complete rock star-- she kept everything running smoothly on schedule, reminded me of all my deadlines, helped me stick to a budget (or decide when I needed to go out of budget), and calmed my nerves. Her design suggestions, tips on dress shopping, ideas about hairstyles, all of it...... so helpful! She was extremely responsive-- quick replies to every single email, text, and voice mail. Some of my vendors ended up being difficult to deal with, and she was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy to get things done! She thought of EVERY detail, including things that would never have occurred to me (who knows that nobody provides ice?!?) and guru-ed me through the wastelands of Pinterest. The Day Of was seamless and gorgeous, and all the Luxe staff were superb-- my mom raved afterwards about how busy and efficient they all were, as we just partied and enjoyed our event! Highly recommend!

We reached out to Luxe more than 18 months before our desired wedding date. From the moment we hopped on a call with Allison, we knew we made the right decision! Since we did not have any knowledge regarding vendors in Portland, Allison and team were ready with a list of their preferred vendors and even narrowed down even further after learning more about us. This paid off in dividends, as 1) we could not meet every single vendor since we’re living in another state and 2) each and every one of these vendors were at the very top of their fields in Portland. From day one, we felt as if we were extremely valued as a client, and even more so important a part of the team. Allison took the time to really get to know us, and when were finally met in person (months into the process) it's as if we'd been friends all along. The regular calls and meetings we had were more like playing catchup with friends, and then mixing in planning, rather than a cut and paste dry conversation around what we still needed to do. She was really what we needed, as we're both busy individuals. Our wedding day was a perfect as we drew up. We did not worry one bit, and the day flew by without us even knowing. Allison was there throughout the entire time, and made sure everything ran as smoothly. Honestly, there was nothing that we would have changed, it was amazing. Anna & Misty (and the rest of the luxe team) NAILED IT! Don't go with any other wedding planner! I will never go with another event planner. I hired Luxe for my wedding. The only thing I regret is not having them as a full service wedding planner! We went with their middle option and it was still amazing. Anna was our main planner and Misty (the owner) was always in the loop with every decision! They are amazing. For how much stress is caused planning a wedding they are always calm and collected. The luxe team is very creative and will help with design and any other things you need! Anna & Misty and the whole luxe team emailed/phone as many times as I wanted. I had meetings with them throughout the planning process. They handled the vendors/rentals for me (which is easier and they help with a discount!). The day of the wedding. I was so calm and I had no worry because of the luxe team. They handled everything and it was the most amazing day I could have ever imagined. I never felt stressed at all throughout the day. I never even knew if something was going wrong. Anna is the most amazing person ever. She constantly was making sure everything was being done correctly and if I was doing okay. Allison and the Luxe team were absolutely phenomenal and we could not be more thrilled with how they navigated the planning process and the “day of.” My partner Blake and I chose a non- traditional venue (Yale Union) that meant we needed A LOT of support setting it up. From start to finish Allison was there for us. She made calls to vendors, helped us organize meetings and ensured that the details were taken care of through and through (including EVERY SINGLE DETAIL ON DAY OF...it was amazing). I was nervous about everything coming together and felt many times along the way that I was missing something, or things would fall a part (hello anxiety), every time I started to go down that “rabbit hole” Allison was there for me and helped me stay focused and assured it would all come together. And honestly it did, Luxe runs a tight ship, they make sure everything is taken care of and I felt so confident in trusting them to execute our vision! Every single vendor they recommended was amazing and we felt so humbled to be able to have such immense talent with us on our wedding day. Our wedding had the mid century modern and minimalist style we wanted while also feeling warm and inclusive for all of our guests. At the end of the night the team stayed to tear down everything and ensured that we were able to duck out and get some rest after a long long day. We truly felt cared for and heard throughout the entire process. Honestly, the wedding was only 24 hours ago and I couldn’t wait to get online and recommend Luxe. We picked their "Enhanced Day-Of Package" which provided us with several in-person planning meetings, extensive phone/email communication, wedding set-up, and full day support on our wedding day. They were personable and professional right from the start, taking our wants into consideration, while providing their expert opinions and advice when we were unsure about a decision. I can't stress how wonderful it was to have Team Luxe on board for our wedding day. They took the work out of the day for our family, allowing everyone to enjoy the wedding. They coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure things were set up properly and did all of the decorating around the venue, making it look beautiful. Brooke checked in with us throughout the entire wedding day, providing updates on our timing and schedule, and making sure we were okay with how the day was going. She was extremely organized and calm, and our ceremony and reception went very smoothly. After the wedding Brooke even sent us some videos and photos from the day to tide us by until we got our professional ones back. It was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend Luxe to anyone getting married. They helped make our wedding day a very memorable one and we couldn't have done it without them!

Warning, long review ahead, but Luxe Events was completely worth and amazing at what they do: I would definitely work with Luxe again if I could. I don’t think there could be a better coordination team out there. We hired Luxe for my wedding for the Day-of coordination, which is my first regret. If budget wasn’t an issue, I would’ve hired them to do full service planning if I could. We got the pleasure of working with Allison, who ended up being a perfect match. She was very knowledgeable and was a professional throughout the process. She made sure I was on tract the entire process. I had to plan an extremely large wedding (400+) in Portland from Texas with a notoriously critical family, but she made it easy for me. She kept me on track with all of my tasks and was always available by email with any questions. Fast forward to the day of the event, Allison made sure I was completely hands off (which is hard to do since I’m kind of a control freak). She made sure that we had everything we needed at all times. She knew exactly when to pull us away from the crowds so we can just enjoy being in the moment. She made every transition go smoothly with a crazy, 400+ Asian wedding. When her time ran out, she was flexible when we asked if she could stay. We would recommend Allison to EVERYONE. Last thing about Luxe, if you are questioning whether you want the “end of the night” package, don’t even hesitate. It is your wedding day, and your family and guests are there to celebrate you, not to clean up the little details. I never write reviews, but my experience with Luxe was so incredible that I felt like they deserved a shout-out. My husband and I were on the fence about whether or not to get a coordinator for our 40-guest wedding, because, hey, it's small. It should be easy enough to do on our own, right? Thank god we went to meet with them out of curiosity, because there is so much more to wedding planning than either of us realized. They did everything. I mean everything. Thanks to all of the wonderful, professional, amazing women at Luxe, no detail was overlooked. They put together time tables, wrangled absent vendors, connected us with vendors when we weren't sure what we wanted, and went over every single detail until everything was exactly as we had both imagined. They helped us figure out our budget and prioritize what to spend and where. They even requested a new makeup artist for me when the first one didn't work out. (I was terrified of asking for a new one and hurting the first one's feelings, and Luxe just took care of it for me.) I think one of the best parts about hiring Luxe was that our wedding day was ours. Despite a surprise snowstorm, we didn't have to worry. They figured out how to get vendors safely to the venue so everything would get there on time. We didn't even have to be at the venue until right before the ceremony. They got there around eleven a.m. (for a 4:30 ceremony) to do set-up and direct vendors. We got to hang out at our hotel with our friends and get ready and just enjoy our day. They also helped the ceremony and reception go smoothly, so my husband and I got to be present with all of the people we love, instead of delegating to vendors. They even made sure we ate and drank throughout the day. A lot of people had warned us before hand that little things would go wrong here and there, but seriously, everything went perfectly. To boot, everyone at Luxe was so easy to talk to and really cared about making our day special. I never had to hesitate if I had a question or a concern. If I ever have a big event again, they'll be the first ones I call. Luxe was there all along the way for our long 2 year engagement. I regret only one thing from my wedding: not booking Luxe right after the engagement. The spent a lot of the first few months of wedding planning booking vendors, making decor, and pinteresting. While this was all helpful in going into my first meeting (one year after engagement and 8 months before the wedding) with Luxe, I could have saved so much time and energy had I just booked them to begin with! The level of support and love this team gives to their brides is astounding. I always felt such a sense of relief that they were the ones executing the vision I had for my wedding. We hadn't booked a couple vendors yet, and they gave the best recommendations. They were also there to be a thought partner, offer suggestions for decor that worked within your theme/vision, and challenge what you thought was impossible. They prove they can literally do everything. Leading up to the day, I knew I could rely on them to ensure all vendors were prepared and ready with all the information they could need. On the day of, I was super calm and could enjoy every minute. I arrived for pictures at the venue in the midst of set-up, and it was incredible to see how their team worked in perfect unison. During the wedding, my coordinator was not only managing every detail, but checked in on me regularly, brought me drinks, and obviously had everything under control. At the end of the night, they packed everything for vendors to pick up, and helped the mother of the groom pack things in her car. I cannot tell you how much of a lifesaver Luxe was before and during the wedding. I recommend them to every bride- and suggest you have them emcee (no need for a DJ!), pack up and be the last ones on site, and have at least 3 meetings with them. Before I got them, I thought I didn't need a coordinator. I realized, I'm paying all this money for a wedding- I might as well enjoy it instead of try to execute it myself. Thank the heavens I found Luxe!

Hiring Luxe was one of the very best decisions we made throughout our experience getting married. We are from Portland and planned to get married there, but we live in DC. When we got engaged, the thought of planning a wedding cross-country was very daunting. This, paired with the fact that I was looking for someone to understand our vision, our vibe and our budget -- I didn't have a lot of optimism that I'd find a coordination partner that could fulfill these things very quickly. In addition, I am not personally very well-versed in design or planning a wedding, and had very little interest in learning it. What we needed was a partner that would understand us quickly, and would become someone we could trust as we made decisions having to do with our big day. Luxe, and specifically Allison Hutchins, was everything we needed and more. The best thing I can say about her is that she listened to us very well, understood quickly what we were looking for, was curious and worked to seek to get to know us more along the way, and took feedback well. Very quickly she became someone we could trust and we turned to her for her balanced opinion on several big decisions. She is so accommodating, made us feel at ease, has outstanding communication, and we didn't worry once over the course of our year planning process while we were out in DC. Our wedding was an absolute show-stopper and exceeded our expectations times 10. It was a truly carefree day because I knew we were in great hands. I am sad that our wedding is over, in large part because we had a blast planning it with Allison and Luxe! This company is truly best in class.

I can understand why some people may be resistant to hiring a planner for their wedding, but in our case, the service was truly invaluable! We felt they really contributed tremendously throughout the process and during the wedding. The more vendors and caterers - and general complexity - the more you need the services of event professionals. Early on, Luxe helped us to stay focused to gather ideas, crafts, designs and plans for the wedding. They kept us on a series of deadlines to get all of our details prepared well in advance so there would be minimal stress. As the date approached, I saw that they began to reach out to our vendors asking many proactive questions and putting our minds at ease that every piece of the jigsaw would fit into place perfectly. We used a four rental companies and two caterers (meal & cake) and so there were maybe 6 vendors in all - and while it may not sound like much, when the guests make last minute plans or you decide on last minute tweaks - it really helps to have the support and guidance of pros to make all the adjustments smoothly! On the day of the wedding, they helped to orchestrate all the moving parts and managed things so that we could really enjoy ourselves. They took all of our decor and bits and turned it into something that, to us, looks like it could be a magazine cover. They translated our vision beautifully, and made it lovelier than we could ever dream. Its hard to think about before the wedding, but all those vendors/caterers are working for you and looking to follow your lead... if you don't have anyone else to help with all the details, it would be easy to find yourself managing your wedding more than enjoying the fleeting beauty of the day and the company of your new in-laws. I wanted nothing more than to be swept up in emotions of love and family - Luxe helped things to go so smoothly, they allowed me to really enjoy the day for myself. My only regret for the wedding was not opting for more services from Luxe to stay until the end of the wedding. In the end, I had to be responsible for moving/sorting rental items and dealing with a bit more than I was prepared for at the end of the night. With a nostalgic vision to ride off into the sunset of wedded bliss in your mind, you don't want to take a detour by carrying nearly a ton of log stumps up a hill in your dress pants... Luxe would have certainly been prepared for all the post-ceremony details better than I was! I couldn’t dream of taking on this kind of responsibility for such a complex event - where you get NO Do-Overs - without the help of Luxe. Big shout out to Brooke & Kali for their amazing decor/design work - amazing job all around!

Choosing someone to plan your wedding is pretty intimidating, especially if you're like my (now) wife and I, who know basically nothing about weddings. So I'll just simplify it for you, go with Luxe. We were intimidated, but after talking to the women at Luxe, we decided to go with them. This qualified as the best decision of our wedding. These people were on it from day one till the wedding ended (and actually a few days after, helping us wrap up things we needed to do with vendors). There were some very different demands on Brooke (with whom we worked with closely); we wanted everyone to feel welcome, but we also wanted it to be elegant and tasteful, and oh yeah, can we make sure it captures the iconoclastic and slightly subversive feel of living in Portland? Seriously, each one of those things are hard to pull off, let alone all at once. But they did it. Even while freaking the hell out that I was ACTUALLY getting married that day, I was able to take a moment and realize that Luxe had really made this day incredibly special. Finally, extra points for being able to talk us through what we needed to do in a way that didn't make us panic. They laid out everything in an easy to understand timeline, but focused on the next step and talking us through our options for each one instead of basically saying "here's a bunch of stuff that you've never done before, quick make all these decisions." Again, these women are amazing, and our trust in them was well placed. You should trust them with your event too.

We hired the professionals at Luxe for "day of" event services for our "100 Year Anniversary" company party. This was by far the most valuable investment we made for the entire event. We welcomed customers, agents and suppliers from all over the world for this special night. Needless to say we needed every detail to be right. Misty and Anna had ideas that added the special attention to detail we were looking for. From the lighting, ice sculpture, linens, drapes, down to the table setting, everything looked straight out of a movie! Misty recommended a photographer who took some remarkable pictures and genuinely captured the atmosphere. I repeatedly heard the word “First Class” when a guest was describing our event afterwards. There is no question in my mind, we could not have pulled off this level of an event without Luxe and their expertise, connections, and creativity. During the night each guest was greeted at the door with a smile by one of their professional staff. The Luxe ladies acted as the liaison between the band, caterer, vendors and guests, leaving no question unanswered, and ensuring everything went seamlessly. This enabled me to have stress-free fun knowing they had everything taken care of. I will forever be recommending Luxe to friends & family!!

I worked with Allison of the Luxe team and would highly recommend her and using this planning service to any of my friends. Planning a wedding these days involves so many steps, details, and people. I can’t even begin to imagine doing it without Allison. To this day, I am sure I do not know half of the things she did behind the scenes. Our experience of wedding planning was what is was supposed to be: picking out colors, venues, and vendors, and spending time laughing over planning with friends and family. It was wedding planning without all the work required that actually goes into planning like contracts, negotiations, coming up with how to place furniture etc. I say this even after adding in the factor that I lived across the country from the wedding location and 75% of my guests had to travel to the wedding. I can only imagine the frustration of planning and the conflicts that would have been created with friends and family if we did not have the guidance of a planner. I did not for one second have to worry about where someone was, where something should be, or what time it was. My best advice after the entire experience is to hire a planner, do not skip out on this. We had a wonderful experience with Allison and Luxe and felt completely supported.

My wedding day was the best day of my life! I not only married my husband and best friend in the whole world, but Brooke and Luxe made our beyond-our-wildest-dreams wedding come true. As a wedding coordinator, Brooke is unrivaled. Words cannot express my gratitude for Brooke and the Luxe team. My wedding was absolutely PERFECT…I seriously cannot think of a single thing that I would have changed…and it is all because of them. I started searching for a wedding coordinator with my mom, who is a perfectionist and has a track record of being impossible to please. After our consultation with Brooke, my mom and I were blown away with Brooke’s attention to detail, warm (but no-nonsense!) personality, and excitement to create something magical and classic but ultimately, unique and edgy. From the initial consultation to the day of the wedding, Brooke continued to impress us with her ability to help make our vision a reality. While working with my husband to sort through all of the details, Brooke was so gracious with her time and expertise, always making it a priority to meet with us, come up with an amazing suggestion, or find the perfect vendor. My husband and I had a pretty unique vision for our wedding from a celestial theme, to some eclectic, modern choices, to some touches that were an homage to Chicago; Brooke knew EXACTLY how to execute this vision while keeping everything elegant and irreverent and NOT campy. Coming up with an amazing vision for a wedding is one thing, but coming up with a plan and executing it flawlessly is quite another! From the many personalities that come with blending families, to the seemingly endless tasks that go into the preparation for the perfect event, planning a wedding is a HUGE job, and I would not have been able to do it without Brooke. She made everything seem so easy (though, as you can imagine, it is far from it!) and took all of the stress off of me so that I could enjoy everything from the site visits to the catering tastings. Brooke was like my wedding planning fairy godmother! When the day of the actual wedding arrived, Brooke and the Luxe staff made the event picture perfect. To boot, Misty, the owner of Luxe, hand delivered lunch and snacks to the both halves of the bridal party at their respective “getting ready” locations. Brooke knew exactly what to say and do to keep me calm, allow me to be carefree and have fun, and to really enjoy and treasure each moment. The event from beginning to end was so seamless and wonderful. Brooke thought of EVERYTHING and even designed components of the wedding that gave it another special touch. The guests had THE BEST time and could not have been more complimentary of the event from every vendor to the coordination team. I could go on forever! Ultimately, Luxe is the best in the business, full stop. After the wedding, so many of my guests told my family that this was the best wedding that they had ever been to and EVERYONE was impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the coordination staff. Furthermore, my mom (the ultimately nay-sayer) was so moved by Brooke’s coordination that she couldn’t stop telling me how much she loved Brooke and that hiring Luxe was “the best decision I made!” I couldn’t agree more! I really had the most magical night of my entire life and I cannot thank Luxe enough for giving my husband and me the best gift that we could have asked for - a perfect night. We typically do 5 wedding shows a year and have advertised in Oregon Bride Magazine for the last 3 years. We have put a temporary hold on all of our promoting and marketing efforts ONLY because this summer is almost already completely booked with the dates that we have available, and we are vacationing the rest of the time. In addition to owning Lightning Cupcakes & Cakes, I am also the President and Founder of the Healing Hunter Foundation, and a proud mama of 2 crazy-busy boys. Life is going by really fast, and summers go by even faster when you are so busy you can’t see straight!!! So we are just taking a small break to enjoy family and the summer sunshine when it arrives. HOWEVER, we will be back, and we will most certainly do exactly what we did before.
