Tyler was our DJ, and he was FANTASTIC. We got married in June 2018, and people STILL talk about how awesome our DJ was. The quality of his equipment was wonderful, and his personality was exactly what our wedding needed. Excellent job, Tyler. Thanks for the memories.

These guys are great. They went above and beyond on my wedding day! Their website is super easy to naviagate and add songs. Their timeline options are helpful. Their music selection is great and the dj I had, Andrew was amazing. He ran my wedding perfectly not only with music but in the whole process!! Our 1st dance song was long and day of he was able to edit it some which was so helpful!!! I highly recommend them!!

DJ Connection was great to work with for my wedding. I loved their energy from the first phone call to the end of the wedding. They were easy to work with and helped us figure out the sound logistics for the venue. They even gave us a military discount. I'm most thankful for our DJ (Dave) who was very attentive, making sure to check in with me during the wedding, and even that I was taken care of from needing a drink to being served dinner. We enjoyed having him as a DJ, specifically his positive attitude and leadership skills so much that we became Facebook friends!

First, I will say that our DJ did a good job of choosing songs to get people dancing, and he definitely helped make our wedding the enjoyable party that it was. However, whenever we ordered services, we felt strongly led to believe that we would get a specific DJ that we requested, but we got a different DJ. We also had a very difficult time reaching people by phone. We played phone tag for weeks before the wedding, and multiple employees would call to ask the same questions we had already answered. Our poor rating is because we felt misled, and also because communication was choppy, redundant, and time-consuming.

We had to make some last minute changes and the DJ was very flexible. Also, he was dressed professionally and did a great job MC-ing for us. Would definitely use them again.

I called them and booked them this past February just because I wanted to get all of the big stuff reserved and taken care of. They ask you all of these questions during a 30 minute phone call and take notes. Well February was a little early for me to know everything, but they assured me that I would go over everything again when we got closer to the day. September finally came and I hadn't heard anything, so I called to see when we were having this follow-up conversation and someone told me they would be calling me the week of my wedding. I was a little miffed, and I know it's personal preference, but I wanted to have everything nailed down the first two weeks of September, so I could just work on last minute stuff the week of the wedding. So they guy calls on Monday (I got married that Saturday) and I ask if he will be the DJ. He tells me "no" and I'm thinking "Really? Am I going to have to repeat this to the person who will show up on Saturday?" He tells me "no" and reassures me that he'll take good notes. I ask him if he received my Play and Do Not Play spreadsheet (the template they provided) and he starts reading songs from the wrong spreadsheet. I think they had us walking in to "Wild One" by Flo Rida, which is not even close to what I had selected. He finally found the correct spreadsheet and we started going back through the questions. He kept referring to the answers I gave in February, but my spreadsheet had some changes on it that I felt like he completely ignored. I kept telling him that he was to play ONLY the songs on the list since I had taken requests for songs on my RSVP cards. I don't think he ever really understood that part of our conversation. After repeating myself multiple times, I got off the phone and just decided I would have to talk to the DJ who showed up on Saturday. On Saturday I wasn't crazy stressed about anything or super pressed for time, but I knew I could get the things done in the time I had and could still have a little down time with the ladies in the dressing room before everything started. The DJ showed up when I was setting up the reception tables and came over and started asking me questions that I had JUST answered on Monday. Then he proceeds to ask me if we needed sound for the outdoor ceremony. I had told them from day one that we needed sound, so I'm not sure why this was even a question (it was in their notes). Not only that, but the sound kept cutting in and out during the ceremony and it sounded AWFUL. So I'm sitting here answering questions and trying to get these things done before my photographer showed up for pictures and I needed to get dressed, and was getting very frustrated. My sister picked up on this, and I got on my phone, forwarded her the spreadsheet of songs and instructions, and she went and talked to the DJ to make sure he followed everything on the list (again, the file they provided). About halfway through the reception, I start hearing songs that were definitely not on my list. My directions to them were to play EXACTLY what was on my list and to not stray from it. At this point I'm thinking, why even have a DJ??? My iPod could have done a better job and at least played the correct songs. But then I hear Apple Bottom Jeans and I just about lost it. Not only that, but the DJ kept coming over to me throughout the night to ask me questions about the schedule. The same schedule that was ON PAPER that I had gone over just five days before with another employee. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They are completely unorganized and have a very hard time listening and following directions. I have heard similar stories and not just weddings. A friend of mine who is a teacher has stopped using them for her school dances. Follow-up: My friends used them as the DJ for their wedding and their DJ arrived with no computer or anything capable of playing his music. He started asking guests if they had one he could borrow. The icing on the cake was when he didn't even play their First Dance song.

DJ Connection was very professional and easy to work with. I love that we were able to talk to someone about our wedding, guests, and what we wanted from a DJ and they matched us to someone that fit all of our needs! They even have a way for you to plan your music and special songs! The planning tools were more than we ever expected, especially from a DJ! Our wedding day was incredible! Our DJ was EXACTLY what we wanted and needed! He double checked everything the day of and made sure everything was going smoothly before, during, and after the wedding. He even brought us water as we were taking pictures outside! He got the crowd involved and we had an absolute BLAST! He made our vision for our dream wedding a reality. Highly recommend!! DJ Connection was awesome! They helped me plan out the entire day with their easy to use timeline! They called to confirm everything! Our DJ was DJ Roscoe and he was AMAZING! He double checked all the details with me before our big day started and came to find me if he had any questions! He even got on the dance floor with us and taught everyone the line dances!!

Overall, DJ Connection provides a good and affordable service. You have to schedule a final "conference call" type meeting a week before your event. I have a busy schedule, and DJ Connection wasn't super awesome about accommodating this and scheduling my call. As for the service itself, our DJ Billy was terrific! He went over our playlist with us the morning of the event and was extremely flexible throughout the night. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about Billy. Thanks, Billy!

He MC’d everything little detail that needed to be announced and made a few changes to our timeline to ensure it properly flowed! Highly recommend DJ connection to anyone getting married soon!! I knew I was in good hands from the first time I spoke with DJ Connections! They made me feel comfortable and took me step by step through the process from the first time we spoke, until my husband and I made our grand exit. Our DJ, Dee, was hands down the life of the party! He made sure our guest knew what was going on from the moment they got there. He would even randomly show up during pictures to give me a glass of water! He was able to read the crowd and played music that got everyone up and dancing, he even joined in for a song or two. I can't say enough about him and this company, you won't regret choosing them!

Donta was an AMAZING DJ, at our May 2017 wedding. He was so amazing, in fact, that my best friend specifically requested him for her own wedding a few months later, partly because of my recommendation of DJ Connection. I won't recommend DJ Connection anymore, however, because although she verified multiple times that she would get the same DJ, she got someone else. Her DJ was fine. He was not, however, the entertainer she was promised. I won't do business with this company again.

These. Guys. We’re. INCREDIBLE!! From my phone interview (which had me laughing and having a blast the whole time) to the day of our event, they went above and beyond for us! The whole process was so smooth and our wedding was a huge hit! The Dj brought us waters while we were taking group photos in 100 degree weather. He interacted with our friends and family even between songs just to chat. Everyone was obsessed in love with this place. I’ve told so many friends about DJ connection. DJ Connection was very professional to work with when planning the event. At the wedding they added a fun energy that worked for all in attendance - from the young kids to the grandparents. During the cocktail hour my husband & I were sneaking a peak at the reception room (being flipped from ceremony set up) & the DJ quickly offered to play our 1st dance song. We actually had our 1st dance all to ourselves (mostly - since people were setting up the room). It wasn't planned at all & was turned out to be one of my favorite moments of the night.
