Got married 3 years ago and used these guys, DJ played the wrong song when my wife walked down the aisle,all the guy cared about was eating my food.he was rude to my guest.this is what you get when you pay before you get the service you wanted,go else where if you are planning a wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a groomsmen in my bestfriends wedding and during practice we had no DJ.. which was provided by the center... the coordinator didn’t make suggestions nor did she accommodate the bride .. it wasn’t even my wedding and I wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYBODY

It's obvious that many of these negative post must be part of a conspiracy to slander the reputation of the Event Connection. I've personally had multiple experiences with this group through multiple weddings along with other events and the professionalism of the entire staff is amazing. Kristen truly has the heart of a servant. The facilities are well maintained and in excellent condition. I would highly recommend The Event Connection for any of you event needs. You won't be disappointed

We PAID for SERVICE we DID NOT receive. So Unfair—So Unfair If you are thinking about having your wedding here “DON’T” I would NOT recommend this venue to any one due to the poor service. Kirsten B. the event specialist was very rude and unprofessional. She showed no compassion for the Bride or Wedding party. The day of the wedding, the steam press was not working and Kirsten’s comment was “I don’t know what you want me to do about it” The wedding party arrived and Kirsten did not welcome them or assist them in any way, she told them the dressing room was upstairs to the left. However it was actually walking into a maze trying to find the rooms. It was too much trouble for Kirsten (the event coordinator) to physically direct the party to the dressing rooms. WOW…. Because Kirsten B. (the event specialist) failed to communicate, orchestrate, organize and follow-up with the vendors and staff, it created very poor service such as the following:  The DJ had no idea what music to play, the stereo equipment was not working properly and the DJ did not show up for the wedding rehearsal.  The slide show was missed/overlooked.  Tables were not set up correctly  The Bar Tender was rude and not friendly  WE purchased a cage of Beer, however, the Bar Tender could not open did not have a TAP so we purchased one and he still could not open it……  And the list goes on but I will stop here you get the idea…. So for these reasons I would not recommend this venue; however, the food was good and the venue décor.

The decor was lovely but the customer service was poor, the staff made me feel quite uncomfortable, they didn't make are families feel like we belong there. My cousin the bride and her bridal party as well as the groom and groomsmen felt that the staff was not attentive to their needs and they should not have felt like that on their special day I'm appalled at what I witnessed with the staff. The dj's equipment was not working majority of the time he even stated the he has complained about the equipment for weeks and nothing has been done smh, this situation really bothered my family but we made the best of it for the sake of the bride and groom we all were really upset because we can never get any off those moments back SMMFH... Event connection I pray you all get it together so no one else has to feel like this... PS thank you Jennifer Jennifer you were the only staff member that was attentive to the bride and groom, as well as our family needs but your only one person but we appreciate what you did Jennifer.

The Event Connections renovations have created an amazing venue. Fresh, clean, open designs that can easily be transformed into the look you want. Their All Inclusive Wedding Packages are absolutely a value and include almost everything you need. You have to come see one of Dayton's best kept secrets.

Venue was very nice, food was very good, but the attitudes of the crew are the reason for the low rating. The whole bridal party noticed and just the lack of professionalism and preparation on some things caused unnecessary stress. Certain instances of dismissive attitudes really put the bridal party of edge towards some of the staff, also a missing table that was listed in the seating chart that was neglected by staff caused seating issues. The only staff member that everyone remembers as being very helpful and exceptional is a woman named Jennifer, she was very attentive to everyone’s needs. If you are able and have time to put your wedding together elsewhere, go elsewhere. This venue is to help short cut the process of a wedding, but if there is multiplied stress of the day it’s not worth it.

I enjoyed the bridal show hosted here, but did not feel comfortable with the preliminary meeting regarding event services. There were not enough options provided, and the up-selling was pushy. Also, I would have liked to chat informally about event services when I was already there for the show, but everyone was too busy worrying about the raffle cards.

We used Event Connections' all inclusive travel package for our wedding. They were our main vendor for our wedding at the Rosewood Manor, and did everything from set up, catering, music, decorations, etc. They made sure my wedding was perfect, and that everything was executed perfectly. I highly recommend Event Connections whether you are using their venue, or their all inclusive travel package like we did! It was amazing.

Kirsten Bradley from Event Connections was an invaluable resource. She helped us gather what we needed from the right vendors. She searched for the right price, the right timing and the right products (like tables and chairs!) Even on the day before the wedding, when we realized bistro tables would add a lot to the venue, she worked to make it happen. She was invested in the reception, and made sure we were happy with what we had chosen. Her personal touch and concern for us as a family, planning a memorable event, made Event Connection seem less like a phone call and more like a lifeline. I was so grateful for their customer service, and will from now on, always use them for events.

As a bride I honestly felt completely dismissed by the staff. Only one employee (Ms. Jennifer) showed an interest in providing assistance to myself and my wedding party. The venue is very beautiful but the process was horrible. I asked numerous questions over the course of the year that we were planning for our special day and numerous details were left out. I live in South Carolina, so we entrusted our special day with The Event Connections and we were let down. Our guest even noticed the blatant disrespect from Kirsten on several occassions. I would not ever recommend this venue to anyone expecting excellent customer service. Although we made our own day great we will not be going back for any other services. I will be contacting the owner to rectify the discrepancies we experienced.

Terrible customer service. "Groomsmen suite" was very inadequate. We had an entire wedding party getting ready in a conference room. We were there the entire day and the staff never tried to accomodate us. Even after expressing concerns the staff basically laughed us off and was extremely rude. Even the wedding guest noticed the staffs attitude. I would NEVER reccomend this venue to ANYONE. Absolutely no professionalism whatsoever.

I highly recommend Event Connections in Dayton for any event you are planning to host! The staff are wonderful to work with, and they have so many resources available! I’m a busy mom, night shift nurse and graduate school student and had very limited time to devote to wedding planning. Kirsten was an absolute angel for helping me plan, design, coordinate, decorate, find vendors… you name it, she helped with it! Quick and professional communication made things so much more efficient! Greg Cowger, the Director of Operations (and our officiant) was also a huge help and a great guy. From the first meeting, my husband and I knew that we loved the space and trusted Greg to help us make the event memorable. We were honored to have him officiate our ceremony as well, and he made our guests smile and feel at home. Being able to hold meetings and coordinate virtually every aspect of our wedding all at one site was such a timesaver! In total, the venue, wedding makeup, cake, music, officiant, decorations, lighting, catering, bartender, reception, ceremony site, and photobooth company ALL came from the Event Connections network. In addition, our photographer and florist work with E.C. frequently and were on a first-name basis with the coordinators. The familiarity helped everything run smoothly. The renovated galleria is a stunning space! With lights and linens, you can transform the room and make some real magic happen! The bridal suite upstairs is also a fantastic bonus! Three months later our guests are still telling us how much fun they had. Please don’t hesitate to call Event Connections to see the space and all their vendors – I’m so glad we chose them!!!

What a beautiful venue and great staff!! We had my daughter’s bridal shower scheduled for noon yesterday and with the snow storm we didn’t know what we were going to do. Greg was so flexible! He responded to my frantic Facebook message and called us back at 7:45 in the morning even though he had been out late the night before due to a wedding. He was willing to allow us to reschedule or push it back a couple of hours which is what we did. He was so helpful once we arrived and we couldn’t have asked for a better setup for our bridal shower. During the planning we worked with Kirsten as she was equally accommodating to our needs. I definitely recommend this facility for all your event needs.
