When planning our wedding we had a place for the wedding but it was a little small for our reception. Bill and Ann invited us out to look at Heritage Gardens. Wow what a surprise. We had a wonderful tasting with Ann and had the task of choosing from a wide variety of delious entries Not having a wedding planner Ann was quick to point out things that we would have overlooked. All the accommodations were set up when we arrived. We did the decorations ourselve. The day of the wedding we had overcast sky with a little rain with more in the forecast. One of our wedding present was some lawn art which they allowed us to incorporate into their gardens. Walking down the garden path was toward the reception was amazing. Shortly after dinner the skys cleared and the crew from Heritage had the tent sides removed. Heritage and their staff deliver what we had asked for and did it in a very professionally. The last thing you need on your wedding day is unwelcome surprises. We had none. Thank you Ann, Bill and staff. We will definitely use you again Gloria and Steve Schmidlapp

Could not have asked for a better catering company for our wedding May 6th 2017. From the beginning things were easy and fun! We went with Heritage Events after meeting with them early spring 2016 after winning a raffle from a bridal show. We did a full service consisting lineins, chairs and a buffet BBQ, as well as them cutting the cake. They were quick to pleasing the bride and making sure our day was just perfect. Super professional and did a great job the day of. Really enjoyed the food that was prepared and served. I highly suggest if you are seeking a caterer for your wedding to give them a call for a consultation! You will be pleased!

We used Heritage for our outdoor wedding. They had the cheapest pricing, all the staff were friendly, and they were helpful as well as the product being in good shape.we rented 100 folding chairs and 10 round tables and they dropped off the night before and picked up the tables the following Monday as it was a Friday night event. We will definitely use then for events in the future.

The food was great and our guest loved it, but the service was not great.They sat in front of our venue blocking many of our decorations for over an hour instead of parking where the caters were asked to.We ended up cleaning up the Buffett ourselves because they had no sense of urgency and did not clean up when we asked. They did not speak to us once while there instead just left a mess and our leftovers just sitting there for us to find.

Expected me to do a bunch of work in an interview process (which was fine) but when I had to figure out the stuff for him, while he was yelling at me and being rude to not only me but his other employee....... that man is not fit for a leader position or whatever he even is. Heritage Event and Catering did a wonderful thing for our church. On October 1st we had a family come from Iowa to sing and praise Jesus. It was a great time. But the food that was catered was so spot on for the event. It was so delicious that the serving trays were emptied after everyone was finished. People were getting 2nd plates. Billy and Anne are so professional about the service they provide they keep communicating with you right down to the last item.

I've tried several of the foods on the menu and they are all delicious! The ribs are moist and seasoned to perfection. (With several different sauces to choose from, there's something to suit every taste!). The mac & cheese is creamy and cheesy, just like momma used to make, and the baked beans? I'm not normally a big fan of them, but these were so good I had seconds! Looking forward to my next experience. I highly recommend this business!

For the past two years, Piqua Arts Council has had Heritage Events and Catering cater our Dancing with the Piqua Stars event. From the planning portion with Ann and Adrian to the event staff the employees are ALWAYS professional and do a great job. The dinner service includes a buffet style dinner for 400 people, and the food is always hot and delicious. This year, 2015, we had them cater our matinee performance as well and the dessert selection and taste was amazing. We will certainly use them again!

They were also the caterer. The food was delicious. This makes them a one stop provider. The staff they provided to serve the food & clean up were superb. I enjoyed working with Heritage. Heritage was a great company to rent a tent, tables and linen from. They were punctual for set up and the order was accurate whenever we made changes. The only thing is that we had trouble getting them to pick up the tent after the event. It was over two weeks later when they picked up the tent so make sure the property is okay with having such a large tent on site for so long!

We used Heritage Event and Catering for our daughter's wedding on July 1, 2017 and we could not have been happier. We had a roasted pig, chicken breasts, spicy macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, potato salad, two kinds of bbq sauce, baked beans, and corn on the cob. They supplied rolls and all the place settings. From start to finish they were so easy to work with and by far the most affordable caterer we found. The wedding was in a rustic setting so the picnic foods were a real hit with our guests. They had courteous staff and had the meal ready on time! Great vendor! Would recommend them to anyone.

Staff was friendly when we placed the order, but we were beyond disappointed with the turnout. Our linens were not only mismatched sizes, but the colors were not the same. Even the whites we ordered weren't the same shade of white. On top of it, all of our linens were grease-stained and extremely wrinkled. Fortunately our wedding venue had spare linens for us to use and we were able to make do with it. Such a disappointment to have to deal with that on our big day.

Absolutely awful customer service. Never sent me my contract/workup in November like they told me they would after the tasting and then forgot everything we had chosen. We had to guess by memory what we wanted from the tasting. Then they Emailed me the day before my wedding telling me I had to switch my plates bc suddenly they didn’t have the ones I’d asked for. Then they showed up WITHOUT ENOUGH LINENS and blamed ME and refused to do ANYTHING ABOUT IT. They told me I had to just deal with it and not use my seating chart or just leave the other 4 tables UNCOVERED. They REFUSED to apologize and told me it was my fault and they did nothing wrong. How so? We told them SIXTEEN TABLES but they later decided to do their own math as up to 8 people could (technically) fit at a table-we didn’t arrange our chart that way, like we told them. He refused to run to back to the store and yelled at me for asking him to do so. He also refused to get any help/find any solution at all. Thank god I had a venue who could help and step up for where heritage screwed up. Food was fine I guess. The Bar tender we had from them also left without helping clear or clean up ANYTHING from the bar however I was scheduled for a full service wedding and the venue was very unhappy with them about this as well, they states that the bar tender always helps clean up. The man actually told me he is not sorry. Laughable. Don’t stress yourself out on your big day by trusting these guys with your catering.

10/6/19 The owners of Heritage did an outstanding job from start to finish. Their customer service was above and beyond...prompt to answer questions and solve any problems. They went out of their way to help us in every way. Price was extremely reasonable and the ease with which everything went was well worth it all. They provided us with a beautiful tent, chairs, amazing food and coffee. Everything was delivered and set up in a very timely manner! Wedding was Sunday and the tent was able to arrive on Thursday. We had a full service catering and their employees were kind and courteous. I highly recommend their services as it is a high quality experience with a very reasonable price. You will not regret it. I chose HE&C to not only cater my wedding but to also provide a lot of the rentals for our outdoor reception. They were very easy to work with and a "one stop shop" which provided quality service. It was nice to not have to use multiple vendors. Any of the small mishaps that occurred they fixed quickly and the crew who set everything up did a great job. The food was also very good which I was impressed with because there was no onset kitchen (stove, fridge, etc) and everything served was great!! I would highly recommend their services for your wedding!

I was looking for a catering company in Miami county to do cook-outs and holiday meals for our Piqua facility. Heritage Catering "fell in my lap" when the owner was doing cold calls and came by our plant. Bill is a very nice gentleman and great salesman. We had our "taste test" last week. Comments could not have been more positive. Set Up: Tent set up outside gave it a "festive" atmosphere which added to the lunch. Employees knew something special was going on - just for them! Smokers and equipment all clean and looking new. Caterers dressed in company shirts, hats, aprons making it look very professional. Presentation: They brought tables, table cloths, plates, utensils, etc. and did the set-up themselves. Very neat and clean, nothing lacked. Had all hot items in warming trays so food would stay hot. Set-up location was done to fit our routine and facility. Very accommodating. Food: Cooking on the premises was unbeatable. The smell permeating the air had everyone aching for lunch long before food was ready. Ribs and chicken - huge servings, perfect for our hungry plant associates. Smoked to perfection. B-B-Q sauce had just the right kick to it. Or go without and the rub alone was delicious. Sides were the perfect compliment to the meat. They also have a facility in Columbus which will accommodate our Columbus plant. I would recommend Heritage to anyone. I'm already looking forward to our next event with them!

I attended a wedding catered by Heritage and everything was perfect. They had BBQ chicken, flame grilled burgers, gourmet snap sausages, red skin potatoes, green beans, mac n cheese, and salad. Everything was hot and fresh off the grill they brought in. I have already reccommended them to several friends in the area. If you are planning an event such as a wedding, corporate picnic, private event, or BBQ then Heritage simply offers the best quality.

Bill went over the top to help us with our daughter's outdoor wedding. We had some last minute venue concerns, which Bill was able to help with!! The tent Heritage supplied us was incredible. Clean, huge, and very top-class. Our guests were very impressed with how incredible the tent was. We had no worries about set-up and take down - that was all handled, so it was easy for us to bring our stuff in to decorate. Besides the tent rental, we also had Heritage cater for 160 people. The meal was fantastic - we had many positive comments from our guests. Ann worked with us to make great selections, and provided excellent quality food. Elizabeth, in the office, was always very helpful, and the phone calls that I made with questions about details and logistics were all dealt with rapidly. What a wonderful experience we had with Heritage, and it was a huge part of our daughter's beautiful day. Absolutely would highly recommend. These folks know what they're doing, and they do it excellently. Thanks to you all!

They did my wedding and they are amazing if I need a caterer ever again for a party they will be my go to one. My reception was ruined by a terrible storm and they stuck through it and saved most of the food. They was the best they made the most of the disaster and even took matters into there hands and help too. The food that I was able to eat after my first plate was blown out of my hands due to the hurricane like winds was great I just wish I ate more it was wonderful. The lady help cut the cake and it was amazing. Great job you guys.

Communication was very spotty. On the day of my wedding, the crew that arrived had not received any of my requests for setup or tear down. When the catering was over, their crew gorged themselves on the leftovers in front of all of my guests and then packed up what was left. We had been told our left over food would be packaged up for us to keep(considering the cost, that's the least that should happen). Dont be lured by the lower prices, as soon as an initial contract was signed, all prices went up and levels of service went down. I was very disappointed that we chose heritage as they were nothing as advertised.

Heritage Events provided virtually everything for our daughter's outdoor wedding - tents, tables, chairs, linens, dance floor, ceremony backdrop, portable bar, portable toilets (very, very nice!), dinnerware, appetizers, dinner and desserts. The selection in every category is amazing. They were very enjoyable to work with - the service was great, the food delicious. The tent crew and the catering staff were a joy to have around. We could not have asked for a better experience- and all at a great price!

I just had my wedding there a few weekends ago. I normally do not write reviews, so I'm writing this review with good reasons. My wedding was absolutely perfect, except the catering. I'll start off with the food tasting. I wanted chicken cordon bleu as one of the choices for the wedding menu. When I tried the chicken, it was a bit dry. I asked them if there was any way to have the chicken more tender on the wedding day. I was told that it would be cooked differently, because they usually soak the chicken in a broth, which helps prevent the chicken from being dry. So, I decided to trust them and proceeded to have chicken cordon bleu, as one of the food choices for the wedding. When it came to the wedding, I took one bite of the chicken and did not eat the rest of it, as it was extremely dry. The chicken looked completely different from the food tasting (the structure of the chicken was more flat, the seasoning on top was red). I also noticed that no one was eating their chicken, as it was left on their plates. I also received quite a few comments that the food was terrible, which is something no one needs, nor wants to hear. Also, the potatoes we had at the food tasting did not taste anything like that on the day of the wedding. I would say the best part of the meal was the sweet potatoes, but that was probably it. I was going to get up and yell at the caterers, but I told myself that I would not let this ruin my wedding day, as I've been pretty relaxed all day, and wanted to keep it that way. Also, I would like to mention that we picked up the table cloths from them on Friday to set up early at the venue. We needed an extra table cloth and I tried to call them, along with my bridesmaids, but no return calls after leaving a voicemail and email. The reason we needed the extra table cloth was because they did not provide us with the small rented table, so we had to use the table cloth for the head table. I rented a small table for our sweetheart table, which would be connected to the rectangle tables for the bridal party. I again called and sent an email to remind them to not forget the small table and guess what happened? You've guessed it! They forgot the small table the day of, so unfortunately, I couldn't even use my expensive sparkly table cloth that I was extremely excited about. It was a bit tight at the tables, but we managed to make it work. I emailed them after the wedding about getting my refund for the table but haven't received an email that they've done so. I see that there are reviews that are great and others that are bad. My question is...do you want to go with a caterer that is inconsistent and also, not available when you need them?

We started using Heritage three years ago to cater our jobsite cookouts. Chef Ann is so easy to work with and Heritage has been so accommodating. Even when calling last minute to book, Heritage has always come through! Staff is friendly and they are always on time with smiling faces. My sister just had her wedding on June 24th, the experience here was less than professional and horrible. On Friday for set up we noticed that the tables were chipped and broken, but held together by duct tape. Some tables were broken completely and unable to be set up.all of the tent walls were put on incorrectly, but we were told that they were correct by the owner. One of the set up staff memembers showed up and noticed that they were in fact wrong and fixed them. Day of the wedding we had two different colored linens. The option to fix the mistake was to give us all the same color but mismatched lengths. All the linens were all stained and wrinkled. The owner had torn down the archbway after the ceremony was done, since we paid extra for that we wanted it up all night. The family was not asked what they wanted. The food was alright, not what was expected. We ordered Mac and cheese for a side dish and ended up receiving Mac and cheese with sausage and spices in it. The communication and thought that went into this day was less than exceptable from the owners. The owners personally yelled at us day of wedding when we asked for mistakes to be fixed. The male owner acted as though it was an inconvenience to fix the mistakes. They were unprofessional and less than inviting. When they need to be paid in full 2 weeks before the wedding things should be as they were ordered. The actual setup staff and other staff that were there to help were very helpful and nice.If you are looking for a professional venue and owners, I would look elsewhere. Thank you for the response. Since then the owners of the business have contacted the family (parents of the bride) after the review was made and threatened to sue. Very disappointed in the level of professionalism that was made after this review was made.
