Coordination is something most brides don’t think about until it’s too late. As our wedding date quickly approached, I realized how much I had left on my plate and that didn’t include any of the day-of tasks. After months of planning, the one thing I was truly looking forward to was relaxing and marrying my best friend – but what about setting up? and tearing down? and making sure my family is where they need to be at the appropriate time? I quickly went into panic mode trying to figure out the logistics for the day-of. I decided to reach out to a few local wedding coordinators and came across Event Prep. The cool thing about Cassandra was that she offered not only coordination services, but also design! I had no issues planning the big things like catering, venues, etc. but my hardest decisions were the little details like table setup, seating charts and the overall atmosphere. After meeting Cassandra, I quickly learned that she is so naturally gifted in all things hospitality. She helped to make all of my wedding visions a reality! Cassandra helped to field my many questions via email and phone, and gave light to the things I had trouble envisioning. Cassandra met with me on numerous occasions leading up to the wedding and planned everything accordingly for smooth sailing on the day of. She met with us to help run the ceremony rehearsal and made sure everyone knew where to be and when. On the day of, she helped the photographers with photos, pinned boutonnieres, checked in with me to make sure the makeup/hair appointment was running smoothly, and decorated our reception venue. The only “hiccup” we had with the reception setup was our stick candles were too large to fit in the bottles (a mistake on my behalf), and Cassandra tried everything in her power to make them work but ultimately went out of her way to purchase votive candles. Little things like that show someone’s care and generosity, and Cassandra nailed it. She came back to the ceremony to assist and kept everything running on time. Although she had another work event to take care of (how awesome of her to open up her time and accommodate to us even with prior engagements), Cassandra made sure we were placed in good hands with our DJ once we arrived to our reception. She periodically checked in throughout the night to make sure all was going well and came back to pack up at the end so that Matthew, I, and my family didn’t have to work. Cassandra was sweet, kind-hearted, and her hard work didn’t go unnoticed. The ceremony venue day-of contact mentioned before we left that our wedding was the smoothest wedding she had seen all season (bonus points because we were the last one of the year! My family was raving!) We couldn’t have done any of this without Cassandra.

Cassandra was amazing to work with!!! Being a Venue Coordinator, I have worked with many Day-Of Coordinators. Cassandra had ALL her ducks in a row on August 10th!! I've not yet worked with someone so prepared and organized! She had an assistant that came to our venue while she was out with the couple during pictures. Any information I needed, she had! I also had the pleasure of seeing her advocate for her clients when they weren't 100% pleased with one of their other vendors. She went straight up to them and told them what was expected and made it happen! Great person, great service, just a wonderful wedding pro all around!! I hope to work with you in the future Cassandra!

You will not be disappointed in your selection with Event Prep. Cassandra is the most professional, kind and bubbly spirit you’ll come in contact with. She is invested in her job and will not let you down. Her package options allow you to choose exactly what you’re looking for. My husband and I reside in Cleveland and got married in Cincinnati. Because of this, we became increasingly stressed due to the inability to be as involved as we hoped to be in the process of coordinating the plans on the day of the wedding. We both have full time jobs and knew we would need all the extra help we could get. The last month of your planning is insane and I knew I had to find someone who could make this final process less stressful and enjoyable. Cassandra and Event Prep were the answers to my prayers! There were numerous small tasks that I would have never thought of prior to the day of and Cass was extremely instrumental in helping coordinate and resolve any conflicts that arose. Cassandra had a very fast response time and was there for any and all questions that not only I had, but also my husband and parents. She made our last month of planning the easiest month! She put together timelines and reached out to all the vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. Also, she made sure that we were all able to enjoy our day and not think twice about what needed to be accomplished. When I needed her, she was right there. Not to mention, Cassandra went out of her way numerous times to meet with us at a time and place that was most convenient for us. I could not possibly fit a list of all the things Cassandra assisted with into this review. However, I can say she is a big reason I am able to look back on my wedding day with joy and happiness. Having the ability to focus on our guests and enjoy the most important day of our lives was priceless. I highly recommend Event Prep for your future wedding. You will be thrilled you made this decision!

We used Event Prep month-of coordination for our wedding in August and can’t thank Cassandra enough for her help. We had a fairly simple wedding & reception at a hotel with no wedding party and not much complexity, but still decided to hire a day-of coordinator so we wouldn’t have to worry about anything on our wedding day. Cassandra helped us finalize all the details and even provided some décor items for us to use from her collection. We were both able to totally relax on our wedding day, which was amazing and so worth the price. I know weddings are expensive, but what’s the point of paying for anything if you’re frazzled & worried about the timeline all day? You can tell Cassandra loves what she does and she is so talented. Highly recommend her for all your wedding planning needs.
