Chelsy and her team were amazing!! She handled all my vendor coordination and took so much stress out of the planning process! We even had her lead a morning of yoga/workout for me and my bridesmaids and I would highly recommend that. During the wedding she was always there making sure I was good bringing me water or drinks or snacks and going to get people for me so I could relax. If you want amazing support from someone that cares about your day going great please hire the Gathering Co!!

I honestly have struggled writing this review because I cannot begin to put into words just how amazing Chelsy and her team are. I booked The Gathering Company for the month-of wedding planning services and it was the best thing I could have done for myself, my then fiance/now husband :) , and our families as far as wedding planning. Chelsy and her incredible team members made sure that things ran smoothly, everything was in place, that the small details I wanted were perfect, and SO MUCH MORE. I wish I would have booked TGC for the full wedding planning services so that we could have worked with these selfless and extremely talented people longer! To the soon-to-be-bride searching for a wedding planner, do yourself a favor and stop looking...you've found the best one. I can't even put into words how grateful my husband and I are to Chelsy and her team, but I'm going to try because Chelsy deserves this and people NEED TO KNOW how phenomenal The Gathering Co is. Hiring Chelsy to plan/coordinate our wedding was without a doubt the best decision we've made for our wedding. Chelsy worked with me for an entire year - doing all the research, connecting with my vendors, protecting me/making sure I got what I wanted/needed, truly listening to my ideas/concerns and putting them into action...the list goes on. Not only could I trust Chelsy with handling all of the necessary tasks, I felt comfortable to be honest with her about everything I was feeling, which makes such a huge difference- you don't just have a great coordinator, you have a friend in your corner at all times. Any issue that came up, Chelsy handled it like the freakin boss queen she is. When I tell you- we literally didn't have to worry about a thing....we literally didn't have to worry about a thing. On the day of, Chelsy and her team set up everything and Chelsy was there to walk us through it all. We could not have done it without them. Hiring Chelsy and The Gathering Co was hands-down the absolute BEST decision we made for our wedding. We chose their design + day-of package, but it truly felt more like full planning because they were there for us every step of the way, answering all of my (and my mom's) questions, and guiding us when we had no idea what to do or choose next. Alex was PHENOMENAL in helping me design the look and feel of our wedding, and seeing my vision come to life on the wedding day was beyond anything I can even describe. She knew exactly what I wanted and she helped make the day so perfect. For coordination leading up to the wedding and the day-of, if anything went wrong, I didn't notice or hear about it--Alex and the team made sure everything went so smoothly and kept everything on schedule. I want to get married again just so I can work with The Gathering Co again!

Chelsy was the absolute best person to work with for our wedding! We hired her for full-service wedding planning. We decided a little last minute we were going to plan a destination wedding in Raleigh, when most of our family and friends are from northeastern PA. We started planning in May and had 5 months until the big day. Since the beginning, Chelsy made us feel so confident with planning and organizing the whole event. Her styling is absolutely beautiful, and she honestly is such a sweet and pleasant person to work with! I had a few mishaps with my bridesmaids about a month before the wedding and she supported me every step of the way and reassured me everything would be fine. My husband and I both feel as though we gained a friend through Chelsy and will miss the planning process with her. It was a joy getting to know her and her team. The Gathering Co. as a whole offers many different services as well, which we took full advantage of. Chelsy's husband, Thomas, was our officiant. He was awesome!! We were definitely nervous performing our vows, and just having him be our officiant made us that much more comfortable and relaxed. It was like having an old friend marry us. Jenn also did the calligraphy for our wedding. We had a few old window panes we wanted to have used as signage and we collected magnolia leaves to be used for our guests' names. She did a great job!! She was so easy to work with and the windows and place settings came out so so nicely. She also decorated an arch used in our ceremony and it was beautiful. The team styled the entire set-up beautifully. I could seriously just go on and on about how great this company was to work with. Every detail had care and attention to detail and I really thank Chelsy and her team for that. Honestly, we are lucky having to been able to work with her. We literally planned our wedding around her availability. The value of the services you receive are just above and beyond. Book them before they get snatched up! This company is the real deal. PS - If you're not looking for wedding or full-service planning, her attention to detail for parties and small elopements are seriously adorable! :)

I cannot thank Chelsy and The Gathering Co enough. They planned my dream wedding in 5 1/2 weeks! My husband was stationed in Hawaii and we decided to get married while he was home in NC for Christmas leave. When I told Chelsy the date, she didn’t say it was impossible but instead was extremely excited and said, “well let’s start planning!” I loved her enthusiasm! Unlike most girls, I did not have a Pinterest board of ideas so I was afraid most people would not be up for the challenge, but not The Gathering Co! Chelsy and her team immediately jumped in and covered every single detail. I left it all in their hands, between working and planning a move, I could not handle the stress of a wedding. The Gathering Co took all of that away. Unfortunately, it was 19 degrees the day of our wedding and our ceremony was outside, but The Gathering Co worked extremely hard in the bitter cold to make sure my day was everything I hoped for. They provided blankets and a hot chocolate/spiked cider bar for our guests. The Gathering Co also made sure I had plenty of snacks and champagne while I got ready. I didn’t have to worry about anything but showing up! Chelsy and The Gathering Co handmade all of our bouquets and floral arrangements. The table settings were so elegant! The Gathering Co understood my style and what I wanted without providing much information. If you want your wedding day to run smoothly and exceed your expectations, USE The Gathering Co! You will not be disappointed.

Originally I was going to have a coworker coordinate for me, but she had a conflict and I needed to find someone asap to fill in just 2 months before my wedding. I contacted Chelsy and from the moment I met with her, I knew she was the one! I wish I had hired her from the start! She was so professional from the get-go and treated our first meeting like we were already planning it together. She was so easy to talk to and totally understood my style and really dug into what the most meaningful things would be on our day. Hiring Chelsy and her team was the best money spent on our wedding! Easily the best decision we could have made. From the very start, Chelsy showed genuine care about making sure our wedding was exactly how we wanted it. She was awesome about communicating timely via email and was always there to answer our questions (even my small annoying ones!). Her organizational skills are top notch and the wedding was SO smooth thanks to those skills. Her team was amazing setting up on the wedding day and they styled the entire venue PERFECTLY. I was most nervous about design because I had an idea of what I wanted, but the budget made it hard. Chelsy helped me IN DETAIL to find items that would create the vision I had without breaking the bank. It was seriously just so great having her help. Another great aspect was her diplomatic personality where our rowdy wedding party/vendors truly respected her and wanted to listen to her instructions/ideas. Chelsy even fixed my wedding dress at the end of the night when the strap broke! She’s the most helpful and sweet woman and made our wedding day so great. All in all, The Gathering Co. was super fantastic and if you are reading the review you should just stop reading and call them to book them for your wedding! They’re amazing.

I swear this woman is a wedding planning genie or something—every design detail she touched was made SO beautiful but also SO reflective of us as a couple. She managed to find us new ceremony musicians within a month of the wedding AND a new lighting vendor within a WEEK of the wedding when the folks we had originally hired fell through. Mostly importantly though, Chelsy and her team are SO good at what they do, that my partner and I were able to completely relax and enjoy ourselves on our wedding day—to soak in every SINGLE moment without worrying for a second about what was going on behind the scenes. Everyone says this, but our wedding was absolutely the happiest day of our lives, so it was truly a priceless gift to be able to fully experience and feel present in all of it.
