We loved working with Social Conceptions and Ashley Boykin as our day-of coordinator for our wedding! We met with her several months before our wedding and knew right away that she would do a good job. She was very organized, calm yet assertive, quick to respond to e-mails and texts, had great ideas for planning and conceptualizing the "flow" of the wedding day, gave great advice all along the way, helped us stay on track with planning, and was always open to answering our questions and meeting with us and vendors as we planned out our wedding day. When we were a few weeks out from the wedding weekend, we met with Ashley one last time so we were all on the same page and after that, she literally took it from there to confirm payments, plans, timelines, etc...with all of our vendors and it made for a completely stress-free few weeks leading up to the big day. Ashley was so attentive to our wishes and when it came time to execute all of our plans that we worked so hard on, Ashley and her team were flawless! We had a guest list around 275 and a large bridal party and Ashley was able to give direction, while still allowing everyone to enjoy themselves and ensure that the day we envisioned became a reality. We highly recommend Social Conceptions and Ashley Boykin for any of your event planning needs. You will certainly not regret it.

Last minute, seat-of-the-pants planning. Her entire philosophy seems to be "We'll figure it out the day of the event". She actually said these words during the venue walk through. Friday night *after* the wedding rehearsal, Ashley was busy calling vendors trying to find a cordless microphone for the wedding toasts, something that could have/should have been done months in advance. Never found one. Didn't measure the outdoor tables to figure out if they'd fit inside in the configuration that we discussed for the rain plan. They didn't. Wedding guests were sitting outside on the porch for dinner. On the one and only document that *was* done in advance, she couldn't be bothered to spell the bride's father's name correctly (either first OR last name). Hello? Who is paying you? Very bad.

We hired Social Conceptions as the day of wedding coordinator and cannot say enough good things about Ashley! She did so much more than just day of coordination responsibilities. Ashley answered all of my questions months leading up to the wedding and gave me tons of advice. Day of setup (linens, escort cards, what belongs where, etc) and coordination was seamless. If something went "wrong", I didn't notice. I could not have planned my wedding without her. About 2 months out from the wedding I had a little realization that, although I had all the vendors booked, how would I be able to organize them all on the wedding day? I loved that I didn't have to put out our personal items like our favors, escort cards, guest book etc. and that she handled all of that. She even packed up all of our personal items in our car before the send off. During the walk through and discussions with other vendors, she was a good advocate for what my wife and I wanted. She made sure all the vendors were communicating and if they were difficult - which I know one of the was - I never heard about it or had to deal with it, she took care of it all. What was I most thankful for? The day of management, hands down. She took care of everything and all I had to deal with was hanging out with my girls and getting makeup done (oh, and during the reception she made sure I always had a drink in my hand. My mom didn't even think of that). In short, Ashley's fee was the best money I spent for my wedding. I would absolutely recommend her to a friend/use her for any party planning in the future.

Having fired the Wedding Planners for my first daughter's wedding I had a poor attitude towards using a service. My third daughter lives two states away but wanted her wedding in her hometown.
