My husband and I meet Debbie Bender during a bridal expo at Studio 215. I was very hesitant about calling and asking for help, but I did. It was the best decision I made. When we first met it was like “love at first sight” ( not like that guys). She listened to me and worked with me. She helped me understand that even with my limited budget I could have an amazing wedding. She made do’s and don’ts simple, she advised on things I needed and didn’t. She more than eased my wedding craziness. When the day came she literally blew what I had imagine out the water. I cried when I walked in, everything was so perfect. If there was anything that went wrong that night I certainly did not hear about it. Her detail, vision, and hard work needs more that 5 measly stars. After every bad thing that happened during my other wedding planning, she made my one day more than memorable. My family and friends can’t stop talking about how amazing the night was. So if you are thinking about not going with her I can surely say without a doubt you whoever you are will be making a horrible mistake. Debbie and her crew from the bride herself thank you so much for everything you did!!!!!

This review is long overdue. Debbie was my wedding planner and decorator, it’s a understatement to say, she did an excellent job! We are celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and as we remember our special day it’s all happy memories and a day without wedding stress. She made sure the day went smooth, dealt with all the vendors, worked on two different decorations for a indian wedding and reception. Eventhough it was Debbie’s first indian she took the challenge and exceeded our expectations. Debbie did a wonderful job with Mandap and Indian weddig decorations just by looking at Pinterest board. She not only kept my opinion and wishes in mind, she also made sure my family and parents wishes were respected. She is very reliable, will make time for you and will accommodate your busy schedule. BLUF: Debbie is awesome! I was attempting to plan my wedding on my own and found myself very lost very quickly. I stumbled upon Debbie’s Instagram page after my venue had tagged her in an event photo. I shot Debbie an email, got a prompt response, and very soon after a meeting. I booked her the next day for coordination and decor. Debbie is professional, warm, and extremely knowledgeable. She was always available for my random questions and concerns. I (probably very poorly) described what I envisioned for my wedding day and Debbie made it come true. Come my wedding day I had no worries and was stress free. Debbie made sure everything was covered, she even consoled my very emotional mother (which my photographer caught on camera). Debbie is an amazing coordinator/designer and an amazing person. I recommend her for any and all events you may have.

First, my credibility: I'm an experienced professional wedding DJ with years of entertaining sophisticated clients, hosting bridal expos and emceeing other high level events. My review: It is rare to witness such a high level of enthusiasm, coupled with expert communication and wrapped neatly with the ability to somehow be everywhere at once! My witnessed example of Debbie's service: In total 45+ people... Bride & Groom, Grandparents, Parents and Extremely Large Bridal Party. Venue staff, Caterer, Officiant, Florist, Cake Maker and DJ... We ALL became a tremendous team because of Debbie! If anyone had a question, she had an instant answer that was always on point delivered professionally. (she fielded 1000's of questions on rehearsal & wedding day alone) I also personally watched her deal with an unprofessional member of the wedding team with a perfect tactful approach and solved the problem. Her energy was high throughout the entire wedding event with a never failing and contagious smile even though her exertion level was on 11 for two days straight. All I could think was Energizer Bunny and I want some of what she's having! Debbie only hires the best to work with as witnessed with Whitney, her right hand last night. If you want experience, hire Debbie. If you want an extraordinary event experience, hire Debbie. If details are important to you, hire Debbie. Due to the storm and 2 ceremony locations falling through at the last minute we needed to use the Met for both ceremony and reception. She proved to be an even bigger resource than I knew she would....even down to running to get food for me and my wedding party once she realized that we hadn't eaten. I wisely chose to hire her to do my decor ( linens and centerpieces), probably my second best decision, 2nd to picking The Met, and she did an awesome job. Our guest went on and on about how beautiful everything was and this was all thanks to Debbie. The only regret I have is not hiring her as my wedding planner. Terrible customer experience, me and my fiancée thought we hired a professional but we were misled. Mrs Bender chose to initialize cancellation of service as a result of her negligence on more than one occasion to include making a commitment to refund our initial investment, but to our demise she has not honored her commitment to do so. There was a second breakdown in communication, and three months before our wedding we’re scrambling for alternative’s. I would not recommend Mrs Bender being in charge of any important event.
