As our planner and day of coordinator, we used Becca from Asheville Event Co. for our wedding last December. From the very early stages of the planning process, Becca was invaluable in keeping us on track and giving us peace of mind. We were so appreciative of her guidance on vendor contracts, timelines, budget management, and all the intricate details (even stylistically). The checklist of items that we reviewed on a consistent basis during the planning process made us realize just how critical she was in planning the wedding of our dreams. Becca has a large network of trusted vendors that she was able to recommend which allowed for the vendor sourcing process to be simpler and more comfortable. She has an honest approach and immediately gained our respect as a professional event planner. Over the course of the planning process and through the wedding weekend, she communicated with our vendors directly to accommodate all parties, and to ensure seamless day of execution. Our local planning team was less than a year out in planning a state-wide conference when we reached out to Asheville Event Company to help us in executing details for the annual North Carolina Society for Human Resource Management (NC SHRM) conference with 1200 attendees expected. We knew that we had found the perfect partners in Asheville Event Company (AEC) immediately after our first meeting with them - the care, thoughtfulness, collaboration, and focus on quality and service with which AEC engaged with us was fantastic. Not only did AEC help us host the conference that we all wanted to attend ourselves - and were actually able to and enjoy thanks to Becca, Missie, and the rest of the AEC team - they were instrumental in creating a conference experience that attendees are still raving about. I would enthusiastically recommend AEC based on the experience I had working with them.
Planning a wedding is HARD. I was already feeling stressed to the max when I met with Caroline for the first time. But after our meeting, I felt a wave of reassurance that everything would be perfect in the end. Can you plan a wedding on your own? Of course you can. Was it worth every penny to have Caroline on my team? ABSOLUTELY! From answering all of my totally random questions, to making a timeline for the day, making sure all of the vendors were where they were supposed to be when they were supposed to be there and doing what they were supposed to be doing. Helping to setup our venue space, and picking up afterwards. I could go on and on for days with just how much she helped us throughout this entire process. In the end, I don't think I could have done it without her. Every detail was perfect, and without Caroline to oversee everything, I would have stressed the entire day and not been able to enjoy my day to the fullest. I would hire Caroline and AECo over and over again. Thank you for making sure our day was everything we wanted it to be and more!
I highly recommend Asheville Event Co! Caroline was my planner and she was incredible! She worked with me for over a year to coordinate the largest to the smallest details of our wedding, and was incredibly patient and easy to work with! We had a lot of last minute changes due to weather, and she took everything in stride and made me feel completely at ease. She came up with fantastic back up plans on the fly, and it turned out perfectly. When you have a vision in your head and someone is able to turn it into a reality, it is pretty amazing! Caroline did just that! I felt as though I was living in my own dream. In addition to helping you plan the perfect event, she is also very responsive via email/phone/text, which was so helpful. She is also mindful of budgets and scaling back, which I really appreciated! If you choose Asheville Event Co for your wedding, I highly recommend Caroline! Not only is she an excellent planner, but also an amazing person!

Almost one year ago my husband and I got married in Asheville. We worked with Asheville Event Co for about a year leading up to our big day. Becca and the entire team made planning our dream wedding a breeze. For us it was a destination wedding, planning from Texas and I cannot say enough positive things about the team. We are so thankful for them, all the help they were and how they saved me from having panic attack bride moments many times. They gave us ideas and suggetions also that made our wedding weekend even better. We literally and I mean literally could not have planned and executed the wedding without them!!!!! Truly our dream team! I actually miss planning the wedding and the emails back and forth leading up to it!! Hey you never know, maybe one day theyll plan an anniversary event for us!!!
We used Asheville Event Co. for our summer wedding in Laguna Beach, CA. Our wedding planner, Becca Knuth went above and beyond, exceeding all expectations. She is extremely organized, making sure we completed tasks well before deadlines. She is always one step ahead, thinking of little details we could never dream of. She's very personable, and helped manage relationships w/ the venue, vendors and family members. The Asheville Event Company is “Top Notch” in the event planning world. We worked with Becca and her staff for two years planning our Camp Merrie-Woode Centennial Weekend. With the help of Asheville Event Company, we hosted five major events in five different locations on the camp’s property. They assisted our various committees with the communication, planning, vendor and volunteer coordination, transportation challenges, guest registration, on site logistics, and risk management. The event was an enormous success with no details left undone. I would highly recommend Asheville Event Company!
Missie, Becca, and the Asheville Event Company Team are such buoyant, creative, experienced, and connected professionals to work with! After interviewing other event planners to assist with our 3 day professional conference at the US Cellular Center in downtown Asheville (the largest conference ever held in Asheville at the time!), we unanimously decided on AEC after experiencing their overwhelming passion for complicated event planning. We didn't realized we needed the assistance of event planners until we were 2+ years into our planning and just about 6 months left before our event. The AEC team jumped on our project immediately and folded in with our team seamlessly. We often lamented not bringing in their expertise years sooner! Reflecting back on our experience with AEC brings me such joy. There is nothing this super team can't accomplish - they are rockstars at vendor management, A/V, food and beverage, conference schedule flow, curating keynote speakers, navigating print and media, volunteer management, staying in budget, bringing humor to conference planning life, and being general masterminds and wizards in all things event planning. Because of AEC, I deem every aspect of our conference a success - from keeping our 100+ volunteer crew in line to helping us continuously wow over 1000 people for 3 days! Hands down, this teams rocks it and I can't wait until our planning paths cross again.

Can't say enough about Asheville Event Company! Their work on our summer camp's Centennial Weekend Celebration was flawless - tremendous attention to details, great listeners, ability to manage multiple vendors and volunteers with experience and heart. We had several events throughout the weekend - our evening events were 550-650 guest and daytime events entertained over 1000. Events were in multiple locations and at times occurring simultaneously. As volunteer chair of the weekend, I was able to relax and enjoy our many guests and activities because AEC was well-prepared, well staffed and responsive to our guests and vendors.

Over the last year our Department has worked with Asheville Event Company to create donor engagements to help raise funds for Mission Health System. We contracted them to handle four different events, in four different regions of western North Carolina, all happening within a 5 week time period. From the first meeting in January 2017 to the final event in July 2017, Becca and Melissa handled every detail impeccably. They worked with us to flush out our ideas and make them all come to life in a way I could have only hoped for. Beyond the creative aspects they also handled the entire management of all vendors including, a massive production team for our program, florists, rental companies, catering, and several different event space vendors and handled all contracts with said vendors. Even though they oversaw all of the details, we as their client, never felt out of the loop. Becca and Melissa arranged several meetings to review creative aspects, food tastings, and set up weekly production meetings with the production team so we were always able to provide feedback. On the days of events, I never had to worry about anything. Becca and Melissa’s team were professional and organized and always there to help provide solutions on the spot. My overall thoughts about working with this team is that we could not have pulled off our donor engagements so flawlessly and beautifully without Asheville Event Company and would highly recommend them!
Asheville Event Company is simply amazing! I am a photographer and have worked with some of the top event planners from around the world. Its nice to know that I can also find the same class right here at home in WNC. You ladies NEVER let me or your clients down and always over deliver. I would highly suggest looking into them if you are planning an even in Western North Carolina or anywhere for that matter!
Becca did such an amazing job for our wedding! My wife and I were so impressed by every aspect of her services, from finding the vendors to keeping everything organized to giving us recommendations. The reception venue for our daughter’s wedding required that we hire a professional event planner and recommended Asheville Event Company. Becca, the owner of Asheville Event Company, helped me determine what level of assistance we needed and connected us with one of her planners, Cortney Jackson. I cannot say enough good things about Cortney, her professionalism, organizational abilities and fabulous personality. Cortney helped guide us through the maze of vendors that had to be chosen and reserved ASAP, arranged meetings with various vendors and took care of all the minutiae that is part of planning and orchestrating a wedding over the course of eleven months. As an experienced planner, her ideas (whether creative or logistical) were outstanding. Cortney’s calm demeanor, sweet excitement, and unassuming approach through every interaction were the reassurance we needed during the process to feel confident about the final product - that everything would go well! - all the way through the wedding day. Without her, the whole wedding weekend (destination wedding) would not have been the awesome, beautiful celebration that it was!
