Great food, stunning views with a vibrant atmosphere
Great drinks and an incredible view of the city.
Nice staying definitely a nice place to be in NYC good drinks friendly staff
Great drinks, good food, amazing views.
Great food drink and one of the best views NY has to offer book in advance
Lovely place to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Great cocktails and entrée. We chose early afternoon and it wasn't crowded. Great views all round.
Great rooftop with amazing views!
I'm toadly in love with their service but for food and it's excusable because omo naija I be. "Oyinbo no get food ooh" It was bae's birthday so I made reservation for 2 within 48hrs.got a late evening reservation tho. Their response time is commendable and I was wowed when all of their staff right from the red carpet to the bar wished him a happy birthday. We also got champagne on the house...I guess it was our lucky day!
Wonderful even jaded NYers were impressed!
By far my favorite attraction in manhattan. Drinks 65 floors up enhance the view
We highly recommend Rainbow Room! This place exceeded out expectations! Not only is the chapel pristine, but the attention and caring disposition from all the staff here made our special day EXTRAORDINARILY. We were all grieving my mother's passing, they ensured that they acknowledged and included my parent's memory in the ceremony. We had family watching the wedding through the live feed, family that couldn't attend. Their prices are extremely affordable for the quality and attention to detail that you receive. More importantly, they will to anything and everything so that your wedding day is more than you expect. I am so glad we found this chapel, and I guarantee you will not find any other chapel that can come close to its beauty. We wouldn't trust our wedding day to anyone else, memories that will last a lifetime.
Go here for a great view of the Empire state building
Come for the view. The food and some of the service is really terrible. If the weather is great, request the main Rainbow Room or they may try to stick you in the Tiki room where the pricing and menu are identical but the ambiance pales in comparison. I had two major blunders with the hosts of both rooms. Both issues were deliberate and they behaved like they couldn’t care less.
Great food but the view is the reason to go for.
Amazing event space.
Great views particularly at night and really good selectino of cocktails
A great spot for a drink while you watch the sun set over Manhattan. Great views of the Empire State. Friendly crowd, lots of atmosphere.
This is a very elegant place for you and your loved one or significant other to hang out and enjoy the food to drink and definitely the sights of New York City
Incredible historic venue, but in need of some updating.
Been going here for special events for decades. Now, only for their brunch that used to be spectacular. The view is still terrific, but the quality of the brunch has gone downhill while the price keeps going up. Many on the staff have been there for years and are great people. Hope they don't lose out while management screws up.
Excellent! Visited for our anniversary. Fantastic views of Manhattan from the 65th floor. Good food and staff were friendly with just the right level of attention. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Amazing Sunday brunch.. Views to die for. Atmosphere iconic and class. Service top notch.. ❤️
Waste if time. Overpriced cocktails, the balcony is closed, and the bar area was 15x15. Certainly not what it used to be.
Nice view of the city and cheaper than paying to go to 30 Rock observation deck. Went up in casual clothes no problem.
A nice place to go and have a meal and great views
Beautiful place & building. A bit challenging to find the way up (& why not open every night?). Once up there, so worth the free viewing deck - wow. Got to go experience when in New York City! Pricey drinks etc., but hey it's NYC.
Too many darn tourists dressed inappropriately
Way too pricy. The view is breathtaking.
Amazing views. Food left a bit to be desired. overall average
The view from the bar was so beautiful⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, BUT people need to be aware that in winter time when temperature is below 50•F then they don’t open the outdoor section and just you pay high price drink and stand , staff also just ok If they informed earlier at the reception then that would be great!! Me & my husband little disappointed, couldn’t capture the the beautiful view of nyc which we went to see
I was expecting low quality in food but it was particularly good! The cocktails also. The view is priceless!
The place is beautiful with some amazing views of the city. I was in fact expecting a better quality on food. I was really disappointed by Cacio e Pepe which is definitely not what it should be called. Fries were good, quinoa sliders were ok. Overall good experience. I would suggest to make a reservation.
Sixtyfive bar in rockefeller center , amazing views of nyc skyline, good food & drinks , recommended to order a table in advance
Great drinks and views
This place has racial biases. Questioned us as to where we had been drinking and how much. Super disappointed.
Classy place. Can’t beat the food or the views.
Iconic nyc treasure with sweeping views and white glove service.
Had a bad oyster with a moving worm. And the manager didn't do anything to show their apologize except a cup of green tea. Maybe because I'm Asian. She thought it's fine to treat me and friend like this. Can't believe $162 buffet has this low quality of food. And it was Father's Day. What would happen if a father had this oyster? Really a big surprise! Extra protein!
Perfect .,
I am so happy the Rainbow room is back in action. Love their tasting menu.
Awsome
Love the place it was beautiful
Very nice venue. Wonderful views of the city and a relaxed vibe. I highly recommend this place! It can get quite packed so I recommend reserving a table in advance.
Views are amazing and the food is pricy but the dessert is the best
Fantastic views
Views from the bar area desire cloudy weather after impressive. Service is immaculate. Nice environment. Dinner was excellent scallops and agreed steak!
We went when they had the pop up bar called the Rose bar. It was awesome! Great staff, food and drinks. Beautiful view of New York City!
Amazing views of the city, all with a cocktail in your hand. Didn't have dinner, so this is just a bar and experience rating.
Nice views..Tourist trap
Spectacular view.
Love
Super. Weird rules about the terrace though....
Brunch here was the most wonderful way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious - bacon, seafood, desserts, crepes- all of it was delicious. The staff was incredibly nice, from the reception hosts at the base of the super fast elevator to our kind and amazing servers, Rafael. He explained everything, shared with us his favorite items on the menu and even brought us a special dessert for our anniversary. He made our morning so special. The room is beautiful- gorgeous views even on and overcast day, decorated in muted gray and crystal touches everywhere. The musical performers were great. The only disappointment was that there was no dancing- that is my misconception, but still, I was looking for to dancing. Please take a moment to dress in something special- seeing folks dining in such a beautiful place dressed in sweats and sneakers was disappointing.
Again, it all comes down to atmosphere, service, food. Atmosphere was great, views were amazing. Service was fine, nothing special. Food...we only ordered beverages, and a seafood tower ($90). The seafood tower was just ok. Order something else. Teetering between a 2 and a 3 star.
Lunch in the Plaza / dining room (at the Ice Rink in winter and Prometheus Fountain other seasons) great. Service is excellent and the food is very good and surprisingly not unreasonably priced...is that Chris Mathews over there....
Great views! Expensive drinks!
This is the most beautiful dining room I've ever seen! It isn't often that I find places worth the hype, but walking out of the elevator on the 65th floor and entering through the french doors of a bright white room with round tables and crisp linens, observing men in white coats polishing crystal stemware made me feel like Anastasia... or Annie! Lol. It was a sensory overload in the best possible way. I arrived during breakfast and neo classical jazz was playing in the background, and it happened to be raining, so the chandeliers seemed to glisten even brighter in contrast to the melancholy blue grey skyline blurred behind raindrops on the panoramic windows. Every texture seems lush. Every detail considered... I can't wait to return for cocktails after 5pm when the bar opens!
The view was amazing! The staff was great. We came here to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We made a reservation and arrived early. From the moment we walked in the door everyone treated us as royalty up until we were seated and our server took over. My husband and I do not drink so we ordered water, she seemed to lose interest with us quickly. We waited 15 minutes and she never returned but visited the table next to us several times. We ended up leaving without eating. Or getting our water. Disappointed at the end, but it turned out for the best. We ended up with amazing pictures from their balcony and had an amazing dinner somewhere else.
Great time at the Fashion Industry Awards in the beautiful Rainbow Room
Great views and a fun atmosphere that quiet enough to enjoy the conversation at your table
The view is great, and they allow you to go onto certain outdoors sections for a limited time. There's another closed off section for guests booking the outdoors tables. Drink menu was varied and interesting. Thought my drink was decent. Prices are above average. Service was alright.
Very exprencive. Good place
Stunning view of NYC!
Beautiful views make justify the expense. Definitely rarefied air.
Great views and lovely atmosphere
A little pricey for the drinks, but the feel and atmosphere are worth it!
Best view ever. Recommend a reservation. But go even if you can't get one.
The view was lovely and venue was also perfect. Most entertaining place for children's. Food and wine was very delightful.Thank You!!
Had Christmas Day lunch here, what an amazing experience they certainly know how to put on a show
Loved our time there. With fantastic views and a cocktail. A real taste of luxury.
Beautiful views (lucky us to be there in the middle of a summer lightning show), spectacular rose wine pop up experience, and they fed me deliciousness, too! Win, win, win.
The Rainbow Room is a New York icon that seldom disappoints patrons. The menu, service and views are hard to beat. Visit during the holidays to take in the great decorations and wonderful seasonal menu.
Albeit we went to the Rainbow Room for a private event, the venue was top notch, with must-see views. Definitely an iconic NYC landmark, the Rainbow Room is at the top of the Rockefeller Center. The service left a little to be desired, though... As it appeared the bar staff were all long time employees, probably part of a union, so no incentive to serve faster or put in more effort for better customer service.
Awesome views and great event space
best view in town and their brunch is great, pricy but great. Also the bar next door is fantastic for drinks and you can have a beautiful view
Disappointed didn't get the room we had booked nor the table by the window as requested when making the booking
The view is better than the food. The service is great. Prices are outrageous, but you're paying for the view.
Food and service was great. But there is one thing i can't understand and that is the music choice. For a long standing bar/restaurant from the 1930s, wich becomes rare in New York, they shouldn't play dance music or any music from this era.
Loved this bar amazing cheescake and coffee. Alcohol was pricey though.
Brunch at The Rainbow Room was everything I imagined it would be. It is elegant dining with a spectacular view of New York City. The food is exquisite with a variety of delicious cheeses from all around the world, meats marinated to perfection, fresh fruits and deserts, honey on the honeycomb, exotic juice blends, and of course delightful choices from the menu and bar. The food in and of itself is worth the price, and dining at such a distinctive beautiful place is an ethereal experience. The chairs and table cloths are silver, crystals shine in long windows, the jazz band was exceptional, and the servers clearly like their work and take great pride in their profession. I felt like royalty while dining here and would recommend this extraordinary restaurant for a special occasion or to simply have an unforgettable dining experience. It is easy to see why this glamorous place is so renowned.
Perfect place to eat. Great Views all round. If your looking for a small bite or something bigger your in good hands.
Fantastic view and nice drinks. A good way to see the view of Manhattan while enjoying a drink.
Nice view, even better than the deck. At least, I spend my money on wine not view only.
Excellent!!!! I was here by myself eating dinner and it’s a very quiet romantic place , exceptional views!!!!! Quality of service and impressive meals it’s definitely worth the price if you’re ever in New York put this on your to do list
Really enjoyed an event I attended here. Granted I wasn't paying for food and drink but it was a really nice place with unbeatable views.
They don't let you go to the actual rooftop area unless you have a table. Only 15 mins limited time and people just take photos.... Recommend other rooftop bars
Amazing views
Spectacular view, great ambience, but you pay for with pricy drinks.
The views are great but would have been better on a sunny day. We had drinks and appetizers at Bar sixtyfive
I qish they had taken our reservation so we wouldnt have had to stand up at the bar!!! Beautiful experience!!!
A beautiful intimate venue that I highly recommend. The food was delicious and the views unparalleled.
Booked table to celebrate wife’s 40th birthday. The view is breathtaking and the setting is plush. The cocktails were varied and tasty. The whole experience was let down by really poor standard of food, which was grossly overpriced. The menu promises but fails to deliver. We ordered a lobster and scallop dish and received what can only be described as a puréed mouse hotdog on a brioche bun, with a side dish of thousand island dressing. Not nice. Definitely worth a visit for cocktails, but the food is to be avoided at all cost.
Unreal venue. Views are out of control
Obviously can't beat the views. A drink will set you back around $20 but if you compare that to going top of the rock it's worth it. Arrive at 430pm to walk in, bit reservation is better if you plan to eat.
A bit of a tourist vibe, but it's worth checking out at least once. Great views and a cool place to have a drink or two with friends. But, not a place to spend an entire evening. I also ate here once with a friend and we both agreed the food was good, not great.
Very up scale place to visit while in NYC, Food is out this world and the cocktails are very nice a little expensive but worth it!
Lovely decor, service and views
Great view and average food
Wonderful evening at the Rainbow Room! The view, the food and drinks and especially the staff made it the most memorable night for our family. Thank you!!!
The rainbow room was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were treated like royalty. The service was amazing I can't say enough about this place. White Glove service with dinner. food that is out of this world amazing if you're a foodie. Put this on your bucket list for when you go to New York you won't regret it!
Had drinks here one evening before dinner. The drinks are pricey, but you pay for the unbelievable view of Manhattan looking south from midtown and the feeling like you are living the NYC dream, if only for one drink. I love G&Ts, so I got the rainbow room classic G&T. It was an great cocktail, almost worth the $21. When you're able, step outside onto the observation deck and enjoy the skyline, especially at sunset. It's a real treat for this to be public in such a world class city.
Beautiful space for special events - but- NOT handicap accessible.
We had brunch here. The view is amazing in the rainbow room. Probably in the top 5 best views overall in manhattan.
The service really wasn't great-especially given the price. The downstairs hostess wanted us both to check our purses-which were not oversized. She finally agreed to allow us to take one in. We saw others there with larger bags-felt like someone had a little too much power and it went to their head. I had much better service a couple of weeks ago when I took a colleague. We brought our computer bags up and had a attentive waiter. I had expected the same experience this trip. I guess it's hit or miss.
The most famous ballroom in the world!
This is a much better way to visit an elevated view of the city than paying the absurd $30+ dollars for the top of the rock observation deck. Being 65 floors up and paying $9, you can get a nice cider and sit down in a fancy restaurant while enjoying the incredible views of the city. In good weather, the outdoor deck is open to eat on ($65 minimum) and walk outside once you get a drink. You can also grab some food and more expensive drinks, but I go up there to buy an inexpensive drink with great views. Try to make reservations before going up as it can get packed in there. Reservations also allow you to get a seat while if you walk up, you will have to stand without views as good.
What a view! Bartenders are very knowledgeable. Good service!
Great place for a drink with a view.
Very nice views..an easy way to see NY from the top while drinking a good cocktail
Awesome place reasonable menu
Classist
Play play play and awesome view.
The drinks are well crafted cocktails! The view is amazing on a good day.
good place, but service is very bad!!! you have to wait a long time to be served. Very beautiful panoramic view at night. you can try once...
DINE & DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY And take a Hansom carriage ride Through Central Park! I have several once in a lifetime events..this was my favorite!
Brilliant views of the lower Manhattan skyline with good food and wine
The view is amazing and the crowd is hip!
Great view, pricey drinks and food
Landmark place with spectacular views but very rude service. Even trying to speak to someone about a private event, I got an obnoxious receptionist who hung on me. Ridiculous.
rainbow room at 65th floor of Rockefeller centre fantastic views and famous for private parties staff is very cooperative and warm very beautiful chandeliers are more than hundred years old same goes for many things in the room great place to throw parties !!
Nice view
You must hang out at Bar 65 and enjoy the stunning view of the city. Another gem in my hometown.
It was a pleasure curating a custom wedding ceremony for Alyssa + Andy, sticking to their wedding rehearsal schedule and providing a spectacular custom ceremony on their wedding day. 620 Loft & Garden is an absolutely beautiful space that has so much to offer. The staff is very professional and helpful. This is THE place to get married in New York City. I adore officiating weddings in their space. I had the honor of connecting my bride and groom to a casting director of a wedding tv show that features the process of picking the ideal wedding venue and I was pleased that they were chosen right away! I am almost certain this wedding will be featured in a top wedding publication. This is what it means to be MARRIED by REV ROXY ;)
The bar was good. The view was amazing
The view was almost matched by the food. A magical experience all around.
Worth the money...bucketlist restaurant...
I do freelance work there as a lighting Tech for special event. The view of the city skylines are amazing, just the Ballroom and it history just don't get any better.
Best meal I have ever had with the best view in the city! One of the best moments of my life up here, although the bill was alot I would have paid more for the experience
Fantastic view and the decor in the restaurant/bar is brilliant. I had the cured and dried meats platter which was delicious but the service from our waitress was non-existent and spent most of her time serving a table which looked like they were spending a lot of money. Only spoke to her twice, once to order and another for the bill.
Visited here for St Patrick's day. Amazing views for free of the skyline and empire state!
This is the best way to experience Rockefeller Center. Instead of going to the top of the rock, waiting in line, and being subjected to hoardes of people...simply order a drink in the bar at the Rainbow Room and enjoy the same view from 2 floors down--you'll probably even save money. They also offer reserved tables on the terrace for an especially quiet vantage point. Be warned there is a minimum spend of $65 per person at the reserved tables--but a drink or two and an appetizer hits the minimum pretty quick.
Jaw dropping views of the city we all love, can just go right to the classy and modern bar and have a standing drink and soak in the sights or you can reserve a seated table in the comfy leather booths for small groups and couple and have food and drinks while watching New York City from high above. My party of 3 went here to warm up after strolling through Rockefeller Center.
A magical experience! I was impressed with the service we received at the bar and during our dining experience. However, the Bar SixtyFive staff who made arrangements for my party, and particularly Bibi's professionalism and ability to make the night even more special and memorable, exceeded my expectations. Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. You can be sure that I will continue to do business with the Rainbow Room establishment for years to come.
Top-notch restaurant bathed in opulence and gleaming like a jewel atop it's crown on the 65th floor of Rockefeller Center. We enjoyed a first-class birthday brunch for my wife. From the delectable offerings available fom the buffet, fresh oysters, crab legs, blinis and smoked salmon, pancakes, crackling bacon, fresh fruit juices. The abundance and variety of is impressive. We both enjoyed our richly, flavorful eggs Benedict and a desserts. This is a special restaurants that pulls out the stops and will both entertain and delight you with it's beautiful surroundings, immaculate presentation and delicious food.
Great views in a historic location
One of the unbelievably underrated places in NYC. This bar is literally right next to the Rockefeller center observation deck, but here you don't have to pay to go up, it is a nirmal bar, but it has the wonderful view of the city at the 65th floor. The catch is, no children are allowed, and you have to have a reservation if you want to dine there, oh and you have to be wearing at least a business casual attire, and no sandals, shorts, or flip flops are allowed. Otherwise, go up and enjoy the view and the great drinks.
Have eaten in some great venues but this place is top of the shop ! Best dinner out with my wife ever !
Beautiful layout. Only open during weeknights
Great experience. Great views and great food
Great experience. Save the admission fee for 'the top of the rock' and buy yourself a free cocktails in the iconic rainbow Room bar 65. The drinks are amazing and the view is incredible. The staff have about as much personality as a piece of dry toast, but don't let that distract you from what is otherwise an incredible night out.
Extremely nice views and great drinks. Friendly staff.
Viewing deck was closed with no explanation. Had a Bronx cocktail. It was the worst cocktail I have ever been served. The bar tender knocked the first batch all over the bar then proceeded to concoct the most vile potion ever served. I couldn't drink it as it literally burned all the way down. I am Scottish therefore I am built to withstand the strongest of beverage but this was absolutely disgusting. On a plus side, the views were incredible. That's about it!
WOW what an amazing space - the views are superb and the food was really really nice. The staff are very tentative and helpful and it had a nice vibe (We went on a Sunday (late afternoon / early evening meal). It can however get very loud as you are sitting in quite close proximity to the table next to you, so take note. Its a must to book in advance as tables get booked up very quickly.
What a view .. !! And the Provencal champagne cocktail .. to die for!
We were here for a Make a Wish event. This was an awesome veiw and staff was great and the food was great.
Fun to walk around over here
Good for dinner or lunch and private events. It's closed on Sunday
A view that's worth it! Food is tasty, but not unique or life-changing.
You're smarter to book a reservation at Bar 65 and pay 20.00 for a drink to get the same view as one floor up for the observation deck which costs more and no fancy drink. And they have an outside area just the same as the observation deck. #NYCmart
The most magical dinning experience I've ever had. It is absolutely extraordinary to be in a historic, IMPORTANT, place with memories dripping from the walls.... Surrounded by the most luxurious and tasteful interiors, but then knowing you are IN THE SKY. Looking out over the city and Central Park. Brings tears to my eyes! I came here the day after my wedding and was more moved by the restaurant than I was my ceremony! (Just kidding hubs!)
Father's day brunch was mediocre at best. Cannot compare to the Sunday brunches this place used to have when it was open weekly. Significantly cut down on stations. No live music. Unfortunately we don't see ourselves coming back anytime soon.
Breathtaking view!
The view is spectacular, the attention very good, the food delicious. I recommend it
Spectacular a most go with your Special Someone!
Food, ambiance, view. Great ! (Cocktails have lots of room for improvement though)
If you ever get the chance, just go. $20/drink is well worth it. The bartenders are excellent and friendly as well. Class on another level. Get a reservation and a table. You'll be glad you did.
80 years old room that is absolutely beautiful
Beautiful venue. Stunning views. Loved it..
