The worst,7no bathroom the port a potty was disgusting.
Went to a boat tour here best boat I've ever been to.
But the company on charge of the cruis3 shoulb be better organised!
Out tour boat took off here.
Beautiful environment, great food and people, entertainment exceptional
It was nice to visit for the first time
Make sure to get on that tour boat somehow cause it's amazing. You have to wait for 2 hours to enjoy a 50 min long boat tour.
This venue it's big enough to hold fashion show, a food fair, Tech Convention, you name it, it could probably hold it.
Great place to go for a walk.
Avoid this tours if you can. You will stay in line forever and nobody knows nothing. And never buy tickets from guys in blue t-shirts.
Expensive place to be. Items that are available for much cheaper price in other stores are like double priced here. I am talking about the same brand and same quality items. Three stars as store is neatly organized and has lot of stuff that gives you an idea of what you should be looking to buy for your home decor. This shop can be used as a wiki.
Smells like Cod Liver Oil! Bigs rats were running all over the place. Port a potties smelled like it was never clean. Just a crying shame.
Good place to hold a venue such as the bike Expo. Not much parking though.
Thanks to the staff of the ferry! I'm scared of anything to do with boats, ferry's, ships, etc and I made it through it, the staff was amazing & souvenirs were greatly priced & the photographer did an amazing job & they made my ride to see the Statue of Liberty AMAZING! THANK YOU ALL!!!!
Love the tour guy:) Very knowledgeable:) The place itself could need some renovation:)
It was nice and quick this time around not more then a half hour wait time
If you are a tourist and you are here chances are... You "bought" tickets for a trip to the statue of liberty on the street from a guy who apparently was trying to offer you a service.... DON'T BUY TICKETS TO STATUE OF LIBERTY FROM THEM! They don't have time tables, they will make you wait indefinitely in the sun, they do not offer refunds and they are rude. This typw of practice should not be legal, it's a shame on the city and really screw the experience for tourists.
Perfect place to watch fireworks. Unobstructed view down to last detail with seat on barrier once sshow got started. Hassle free entry at Montgomery and Cherry to elevated roadway and crowd free hop up the service road to Grand Street back home after. Highly recommend if they put barges in same place next year.Great show!
Pay very close attention to the attitude of the departing tourists from the ferry. I didn't, now I am stuck on a ferry playing macarena at over 85db inside and outside the ferry. I have to listen to this for the entire hour-long ride. I'm considering swimming back.
Great Halloween event sponsored by Henry Street Settlement for the kids in the neighborhood..thanks to all the hardworking staff of HSS
A structured environment for the youth to play basketball.
The pier itself was well kept and trash was at a minimum. There were no overflowing garbage cans. The pier, however, could stand to pay more attention to the condition and over filling of the portable toilets on its grounds. This is no point of having portable toilets that cannot be used.
We rode the majestic prince boat.. It was a decent ride around the statue of liberty
I think that the yacht we were on... which was called the timeless was fantastic everybody who worked on it was very professional it was very clean the music was lovely the environment was lovely everybody was just so cool and I will do it every July 4th
We went there to get in the ship to see the statue of liberty.
Party Boat...Night Life...Great Music...Good Food And Drinks...
Good place to visit statue of liberty .
Nice view at
Big and all the venues I've gone to here have been nice
Bonnie the tour guide excellent
Perfect spot for touristic cruise, parking is a bit far about 8 streets
Had the tour to statue of liberty, fun tour , and funny tour guide ,his name is Michael. Highly recommend. Expect to wait 45 mins before boarding.
AWESOME BOAT RIDE. VIEWS WHERE SPECTACULAR A MUAT DO TO THE LIST ......
Horrible no restroom while passengers wait on boats to arrive
Really nice pier with exercise equipment
Oh my Gosh, never trust these people who run to you to buy the ticket from them , for the trip to see Statute of Liberty. they lure u for the free parking so that u can go nowhere and check other better options for the right ferry. As they promised that we can spend 25 min in the Liberty Park, walk around take pictures and come back to the ferry that simple.... but actually it was on the contrary. The shuttle took us to Pier36 after 25 minutes , and when they dropped us there , we waited for 1 and a half hour for the Ferry and when it came, the Ferry was very small and again after 30 minutes it took us to the Liberty Park but..... stayed a mile away on the waters from it and then turned back to drop us off without even a good view to see the Lady or take a decent picture because of hundred of people wanted the best view as well on the smallest deck of the Ferry ):):):
Cruises to statue of liberty start here
Very spacious and nice place.
Pier 36 is a nice place to walk, you can see both the Brooklyn bridge and the Manhattan bridge. There are some construction and reparation on the pavement, so be careful while walking! Also, keep in mind that there are a bike lane, so watch out for cyclists.
I worked at the Smart cities event as a production Assistant
Mobile public washroom stinc a lot, they should put benches for the customers who lined up for ferry ride.
Nice but take Staten Island ⛴️ its free!!!!!!!
It was an overrated boat ride in the Hudson River. It shows all the buildings, statue of liberty, and Ellis island and gives a brief history about them. Parking costs $30 per day here. If you are able to walk in NY for a good 3-5 miles, you can watch all these yourself but if you are not having time or energy to walk so many miles, you can go for this ride.
The worst choice that I made to do with brother from Brazil....the lady who work at the bar station inside the boat was very very very rude and unpleasant, talking very loudly and without respect with all the tourists from all different places. I really don’t recommend this for anyone. My daughter just remembered that this lady told bad words for clients in front of my daughter ...that’s the worst..
they sold chips for 5.00$......that i can get at the store for 1.50$ but everything Else was perfect and plus i not a millionaire
My wife and 4 of 5 of our children went on this 1hour boat tour, they loved it. I and my other daughter didn't go, she was horrified of the water, at the last minute she said: no daddy I'm not getting on that, I'm sorry. So I stayed with her. After all being a native New Yorker I must had did this boat tour ( The Circle Line) hundreds of times, from the age of 5yrs to 18yrs.
All white party was ran rong.not a good time.never atten. A Krispy kuts event again.they need to get it together and the boat came late .
Our boat was ~40 minutes late and really crowded. Cool to see the statue, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Governor's Island, etc. from the river, but VERY touristy. Guide was awesome, shout-out for your last season!
But no parking we took the majestic tour to Ellis island it was nice
We took a cruise on the Majestic Princess from here to see NYC skyline and the Statue of Liberty. Not bad, great views.
Much older area than where the other ships come in. A little run down.
Great place to walk on a hot day in the city.
4th of July event was amazing. Tons of security and a great experience. Would definitely do this again
I went here for the Art on Paper show. Enjoyed it alot and it was a nice change from the pier 94 show. Loads of inspirational art, great crowd, great vibe. The venue was good although I would have liked windows to see the scenery like the other piers. Count me in for next year
Nice view and a lot ⛴ ferry to Brooklyn
I was here for essence beauty carnival, its was nice.
Great space. Loved Art on Paper
Crowded place... Move carefully
It was hot as a mug and we ended up waiting for as long as the tour itself, but it was all worth it to see the Statue of Liberty.
Nice place to go walk around by the water especially at night time there are good views
Bike path is Amazing, love the length and flow.
Went on the princess boat ride. The tour guide was amazing and enthusiastic on anything he spoke about. Long wait to get on bus but worth the wait. Also a plus is they offer food and drinks
Fantastic experience tour guide was 1st class. Definitely recommend. Well worth visiting later and seeing Manhattan lit up from boat. Amazing experience. Jen and family from London UK.
Got on a boat tour thing to go see the statue of liberty. It was neat!
My fav place in lower Manhattan. Amazing food and great wine
We took a ferry to see the statue of liberty. At first when we were approached by people selling tickets it looked a little sketchy... but ended up having a fanastic tour of the river!
The only organisation was "form a single line". There was no control of numbers, so there was no space to comfortably see the things you paid for. People were not directed to the correct trip, just herded to any waiting boat. Very poor, a waste of $35 and an hour of my life
Really enjoyed my excursion today
Tour is ok, but not at all what is expected. The people on the streets take your money quickly and promise things that do not take place on the tour boat. Quick view of the lady liberty and back. The crew working give no direction as to what boat is leaving next and they are very rude!!!
This just seems to be an average place to travel from or to but not to visit. Kind of like reviewing the Waiting area at an airport gate. I am sure the memories on either side of the experience are great, but there is not a lot of special memories made right here. I am sure there are some places and people that could use a good review, but this is just an average place so I have a hard time rating it above a three. Maybe if there were leather recliners it would rate higher, but I did not see any.
One star is alot! If I could give this place 0 stars it would have been 0. I had such a bad experience I would not reccoment this place NO ONE SAVE YOUR MONEY! I was suppose to go on the boat at 5:30. However, due to overbooking and irresponsible staffs it did not arrive until 7:45. You can only imagine how annoyed I was to wait outside on a hot summer day for the 2 hours in a heatwave. When I finally got tired of waiting I left. I tired to contact the company for a refund (I paid $50.00 for admission) and they have not bother to get back to me.
Nice venue. Great sound system. I went there to see a movie under the stars. Love & Basketball was the movie. I like the ambience of the rooftop. The view of the east river and Brooklyn bridge. I hope to see a concert soon. Well its oct. I mean next spring and summer
We were told by the cruise company that this would be a faster experience then the typical liberty cruise. We bought in. Free shuttle to boat, then waited an hour. Shuttle ride was 15 minutes. Good views of liberty and skyline. Shuttle on way back was sketchy. 30 bucks a person was about right though for what we got in NY.
The boat tour here was a great experience, especially the narrator with all of history surrounding the city that never sleeps NYC
Totally NOT GPS friendly when actual address is used. Parking sucks and the boat crew could be a bit friendlier!
Took a cruise ship up the Hudson River from the pier
Great service! Save money by booking a reservation.
Your best option is to book through Groupon!!! You’ll get it cheaper plus you get to board first! It was the most interesting informative funny sightseeing excursion you’ll ever go on!
There isnt much to do here but its a rare secluded spot in this overcrowded city. Also there are giant swings.
1 hour trip near Statue of liberty
Around the left side of this building is the boat dock were I took a boat tour to see the statue of liberty. It was great. Had a historical tour of the bay.
So many people of different cultures
Basketball
What stood out was how unsanitary the portable toilets smelled. They need to build proper toilet facilities at the location, especially with so many persons passing through. The boat ride was ok.
EVERYTHING'S GREAT other than the VERY MUGGY weather!!!!!
Schedule is not fixed! Even if you have a ticket for a certain time, prepare to wait forever! Very disappointed!
I had great time there .it clean and well maintained.
Michael the host was amazing he really help our experience be great
Very Nice Experience and Different.
Lots of dubious people and shady characters around. They try to sell tickets for boat ride to the Statue of Liberty, when actually the boat just goes around the Statue for few minutes.
In th summer, It's so amazing place
Great open space pier.
It got us on the statue of liberty cruise. It got the job done, but nothing really special.
Very Pretty!!! Lots of ppl!! Beautiful Views!!
We got a dodgy boat tour from here. Got told the boat would be waiting for us. We had to wait for over an hour in the hot sun.
I like it bc the kids got sport to do and play
DO NOT buy food from the hotdog kiosk vendor there. Inconsistent pricing. Customers getting different treatment. Done got hotdogs with driNks, some did not get drinks. When confronted the vendor for the drinks, they were rude to everyone. NYC must stop these kinds of hotdog vendors, it's bad for their tourism as street hotdogs is a popular attraction in the vibrant city.
Nice spot, but a bit confusing. Excellent staff
Not bad no complaints
Went on a cruise organised by NYC. Hopeless, told boat would be waiting for us once we took the transfer shuttle. We had to wait over 1 hour in the hot sun, with no shade or seats. The staff at the pier were rude and would not answer any questions. I say away from these people if I was you. Very poor customer service, that are only looking to make as much money as possible with the worst service ever.
Finding parking spaces is insane....but overall the event was fun
Wonderful experience minus some of the crew!
I had a blast the place.... i was in another world when we were approaching the statue of liberty
QUEEN OF HEARTS BOAT TOUR Disappointing experience. Waste of money. There are people in blue uniforms selling tickets as you leave Bowling Green metro. They sell tickets for $ 30 for a one-hour cruise. 1. we were going to pay the tickets with credit card. First he declined, then the sales person asked us to follow him to a bank to withdraw money from an ATM. We declined and suddenly he asked one of his other colleagues to hand him over the swipe card machine. He asked for a $ 5 credit card fee on top which we declined. 2. He send us to a free bus shuttle which took as to peer 17. We were told we need to walk 10 minutes until we reach peer 36. The walk took us twice the time! 3. The boat is a party boat with very limited outside space. The top deck is covered and dirty plastic windows don’t allow to take nice pictures. Loud music, party lights on the ceiling and an announcer who offers specials selling their drinks on board (special prices as long the boat is docked $ 5 for beers, $ 7 for shots, hot chocolate and coffee and another time during a song you’ll get a 2-for-1 offer. We couldn’t wait to leave the boat. This experience was a huge disappointment.
I HAD A GREAT TIME SO MUCH FOOD TO TASTE.WERE GOING NEXT YEAR AGAIN.
Boat ride was great
This review is for the ferry ride to Liberty Island. We paid $130 for a family, the ride is about an hour long. No refunds once bought . We boarded a bus at 3:30 and the boat left at 5:30, so had to wait 2 hours for the trip to even begin .The sales guy blatantly lies as we were told we'd be back at the pick up point all done in 90mins, so unless you time if perfectly you're in for a long wait. The views of the skyline are very good as are those of the statue . The food and drink on board is awful and expensive. I'd advise an early trip on the statue of liberty ferry from battery Park to avoid the queques and the expense.
Good pace for concerts and expo events, the area around not so good
It was beautiful. Truly enjoyed our selfs
Nice tour, but you have to be on the boat all the time
Police seized all boats. Do not buy any tickets before getting to pier.
From This angle, you can see the Macy's fireworks more clear without the view of tall building.....
Very nice place to go for a romantic night walk with your date.
Boat was 45 minutes late but, the tour guide was amazing! Offered everybody some type of advice. This is only a 1 1/2 tour (Groupon) less then $10... You can't beat it!!
I was here for a NYPD basketball event and a Knicks event. Great courts to play on. They are always expanding and adding new things. I believe they just added flat screen TVs to keep scores. I also believe they have Tournaments you can sign up for with friends.
Loved the sightseeing ride to Statue of Liberty and back
Waiting for the boat more than 90 minutes, very long queue. Never buy the tour ticket from guys at Battery Square.
Confusing, tried to find a tour chip and nobody knew how to help.
Good trip around the liberty statue island. However the boat was too crowded and it took a while to start.
Groupon for some reason redeemed my groupon and the gentleman was able to figure out that it was redeemed a day they weren't operating so let my group through. The MC is awesome who gave a good overview of the history. I would recommend this place for sure! Pics attached for food pricing.
Friendly staff on the boat. Would definitely go again!
My comments are in regards to use of the pier for party boats. No permanent bathroom facilities, dirty everywhere, no covered waiting area for the cue going on the boat.
Great place...my daughter went here on a Easter cruise and passed the statue of liberty..there is actually a real outdoor gym set up near by and also a beautiful wooden swing set..the grass is beautiful
Stay here everytime I come to Boston. Love it!
I like it there for I work there. Be there on sundays.
The ferry that took us around the Statue of Liberty was docked here. It had good waiting space and toilets (which were not clean but well.. It's NYC). The view was pretty good and the Chicken gyro we got from a food truck right opposite Pier 36 was fantastic!
Construction caused a lot of issues
Great facility amazing staff
I was here for an event. The construction around the highway area has made it a little bit better place to go. Issues, no parking, no Transit, not around enough to make a day of it there either.
It was fine. I didnt go inside but went on the ferry.
We loved the tour once we got on the boat and the lady that was our host was very knowledgeable. They really need to work on the process of getting there. You get in a bus and wait.... and wait.... when we finally arrived, they got us out of the bus and we all stood there in the cold- somewhat of a captive audience. We almost Ubered away but held out and did enjoy the tour. Fun time but could be better coordinated.
A quiet Oasis in an industrial area where families gather to fish, watch the river traffic and swing on the swings hung from a steel beam.
Orsome lots of people and food also zeppoles+fried oreos
This is a great venue for events. Right on the water but very difficult to get to. No public transportation in the near area.
Was disappointed when I searched for NYC ferry it doesn't shows up in Google maps
We there for the Fairway food festival 2019. Huge venue. Great for large conventions.
Took a ride on NYC Tour Boat, and enjoyed every bit of it! Thanks for the experience
It's nice ...it's a way to statue of Liberty and Brooklyn bridge
Porta John's stunk horribly. Staff complaining about each other. Not a pleasant area to wait at. No seating. Just get me on the boat already.
Wonderful event location. Smart Cities 2019
Very isolated place in terms of boarding the cruise compared to other piers like Pier 17, Peir 7,etc. The staff there are not very helpful and sometimes even rude. However, there's a good shoreline walk way outside Peir 36 and also few exercise machines and even play park for kids across the road. People with photography passion may find this place interesting as it has good views and the isolation and less disturbance that they usually long for. All in all it is a good place for one time visit at least.
Nice view of Manhattan from here
The one hour tour was nice. The boat could use some updates such as the upper deck door that slammed open and shut with each wave, only to be held open by a bungee cord that eventually broke. Only other complaint is to shut the loud music off when narrating about the sights, it is hard to hear over the music.
I loved it! it was my first time on a boat and I have no complaints. It was a lovely area with a great view and scenery.
Not recommend. They charged $40 for a person for Statue of liberty visit, but the boat condition is very poor also service is not good.
Lovely well organized.. Lovely time with loved one
Bought tickets through Groupon and it was definitely worth it!
nice tour boats nearby and cranberry trees
Best location for everything basketball related!
great space, love the energy in this place
So many people are scammed here everyday for "A Tour to the Statue of Liberty", tedious waiting lines, no grocery stores around, unsanitary restrooms... plus the parking is extra $30.00 The cruise boats they use need maintenance, they're so old that the water gets in and it's kinda smelly. You could get tetanus in there. Would not recommend to anyone, well, maybe to someone I don't like, lol.
Some tours are organized from here.
A great venue for large scale show.
Second year for the Fairway Food festival.
Went to this place for the Fairway Food Feast. It was wonderful for the amount of money you pay for the ticket. The giveaways were great and the people were nice.
You have to stand outside some other businesses property and wait for the ferry, they have no physical location. We had to stand out in the wind and rain and wait for over an hour before the ferry arrived because the ticket sellers and the ferry crew work on different times. This is what we was told by a mouthy employee who yelled at everyone because people kept asking why we were all told to be there at 1145am but it didn't arrive till1pm. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Absolutely horrible We waited for 1 hour in the pouring rain to board the boat. Then we were boarded late. When we were preparing to board, it was not the cruise boat advertised So they crammed approximately 60 people on two deck boat in rain at 44 degrees we had to stay basically in covered deck area. The staff were nive, especially the wonderful lady who helped with food and made the trip not so nad. Food was fair coffee no comment .
It beautiful daytime and there
