Wow New York Auto show! So much to see and so little time, this is an awesome show it's been years I haven't gone. But it was well worth it. we did the awesome Jeep ride outside near the entrance. Many cars too see ! And lots of high tech demonstration Virtual reality racing and other vedio racing competitions. Lots of walking wear comfortable shoes. Parking is near Intrepid Museum was convenient and reasonable price.

Usually New York international auto show is one of the best in the world and it takes place in Javits Center where you can find lots of space for any kind of model. This year we noticed that all French cars and BMW was absent, but nevertheless it was a very good exposition and very interesting number of modern and traditional classic sports cars. Especially this year it was was very popular with electric cars. Had lots of fun!

The New York International Auto Show was amazing. It represented so many Auto brands, known, unknown, newly uncovered and newly discovered. The Dub show showcased color and textures for customizing your vehicle inside and out. Their was even a solar vehicle built by students from a Staten Island High School.

Love coming to this place every year for both the NYCC and The AutoShow! For NYCC love to cosplay and what better way than to do it here. It's a great event you get to meet many good people and have lots of fun. Now the AutoShow I'm a truck/car enthusiast so I love seeing the concept cars and future ideas as well as the upgrades they are doing to the new vehicles every year is always something new that just blows your mind. Overall this place is by far one of the best locations for this type of events and will always be coming here every year! I would definitely recommend everyone to come to the center specially for any of those two events if you like cars it's a great show and if you like anime, cartoons, or like to cosplay it's the spot to come to. There's no bad idea and you can get creative as many of cosplayer do their own costumes so you got many options to choose from just depends what you like and the benders there are always friendly. Overall is a great experience to go and check out with friends or with the family, everyone will enjoy it for sure. Hope this helps anyone out that is trying to come to amy of it's events!

I've only been here for the auto show and Thursday Comic Con. I hope to go here for something else, but those are 2 popular conventions. Comic Con gets very crowded & with so many people it gets very warm. There's a lot of cool merchandise but definitely make a budget before you go or save up. The auto show was cool. I wasn't looking to buy a car but all the fancy cars out of my price range were still cool. Eat a good meal before you go. The concessions, like everywhere, are high & you don't want to be in line at a convention for food. I brought snacks, but they did check bags so careful what you bring & get ready for someone to rummage through your stuff.

I've been coming here for the past 8 years for New York Comic Con. It's a great, clean venue and always have a great time. The sad thing is that the venue is too small to host the size of NYCC as the convention is spilling out into MSG, Hammerstein Ballroom, etc. Those places are a bit of a walk from the venue itself. Literally anytime after 2pm at NYCC you'll literally be stuck to people as there's almost little to no room to walk. I know there has been construction to help it to expand but construction has been happening for years now. The food is what you can expect from a convention. Overpriced, bland, and lines are too long. I always leave the venue for food after I got food poisoning 2 years in a row. Seating wise there's definitely not enough seats you'll see people just sitting against walls, in the middle of the floor and/or on the stairs.

I was at the Javitz Center for Book Expo 2018 and 2019. Convenient location, really nice convention center. The staff was great, really friendly and helpful and plenty of the stationed everywhere to get you where you need to be. Good signage. Adequate restrooms, nice and clean. Could have been more charging stations for cell phones. The convention was really organized and well run. My one complaint is that the food choices were limited and not very interesting, so I recommend instead finding a local deli or pub closer by to grab a quick lunch. Although there is a Starbucks on each floor inside the center.

This is my 3rd time coming to Javits center! My first 2 visits were motorcycle shows. So far the best one is the 2019 NY Auto Show! There were so many things to do. The place was clean and the ambiance was very positive. There's always something fun going on in Javits Center. I have a lot of great memories here!

Humungous place with great facilities. Just minutes away by foot from the Ferry to Weehawken (NJ), The Empire State building, The Vessel and numerous food joints. Parking is extremely limited.

Yesterday, I attended the Small Business Expo 2019 and it was my first time in attendance. I have been to the Jacob Javits Center (as it is called by most native New Yorkers) before for other fun venues. The space is very big and the staff are very friendly despite dealing with a sea of people with tons of questions. The only downside to this part of the city is that it is a nightmare finding parking especially with all of the legislative changes to parking rules. I knew I should have commuted via public transportation (subway) but I needed my car. Thanks to God I had some quick thinking and prior experience using parking apps. I found a parking lot nearby for a good price for the day. I ended up getting bonus time though I did not need it. I had a great time plus traffic was not "that bad" compared to the typical rush hour traffic. I am not sure when I will be back, but I would come back for the right event.

Convention Center is massive, modern, and totally awesome. Took a few to understand how the levels and area worked, but once we did we found it easy to navigate. Very cool food options with plenty of seating as well.

Cars cars cars and oh yes Trucks. I love going to the car show I always see new and exciting vehicles for 2019 and beyond. I saw so many fantastic new vehicles it's hard to say what my favorite vehicle was so I'll just say I just enjoyed myself thoroughly. I was like a little kid being surrounded by all the cars like Maserati and some of the Fords and some of the Chevy's were so amazing and I actually loved all of the events inside and outside. The Jeep dealership had a display outside that was super incredible you were ble to drive inside of a Jeep and go up a set of a very high set of stairs. So come down and have a great experience at the Jacob Javits Center if you didn't get a chance and you missed the show sorry but there will be another one next year and please don't miss that one So thank you and I think this comment is over I hope everyone enjoyed this event I had a blast.

I am here at least 4 times a year for different shows. It’s a good location and lots of room, just no close parking that isn’t outrageous but it’s NYC and don’t think you’ll get a drink & snack for under 20, otherwise it’s good.

A great, big, impressive venue for very large gatherings and expositions. They host many different events and the building is iconic. There is a food court downstairs and many different rooms for different occasions. It is located in midtown in NYC and is easy to get to from buses or trains or subways.

Went for Comic Com 2019, really easy to get to from the subway or bus. Comic Con itself is amazing and a wonderful experience, but I'm rating the building. It's a really great building for the event, but for the love of God, please put in more bathroom stalls! There were TWO lines to the one downstairs and only SIX stalls. This is an enormous building that hosts large events regularly, why are there only 6 stalls on the whole first floor? We stood in line for a good 30-40 minutes (because ladies in costumes are even slower than regular ladies in the bathroom). Wish I'd thought of taking a picture of the bathroom and the line.

Had a blast at the New York Comic Con here. Big open rooms with a good lay out. Water fountains had low pressure so it takes a while to fill water bottles.

The car show! It was awesome! Two floors of the latest models. Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar, Corvette and more sports cars, also luxury cars, and the new Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Hyundai and others. I got to sit in the new Jaguar f-type model. What a thrill. What a great show. Thoroughly enjoyed.

I was so happy that Comic Con was in New York. I went to Gears of War table screaming like a teen, I was looking for Assassin’s Creed but it was so big I couldn’t find it; I am not even sure if there was a booth for that. I had a ticket for one day and I went to a line for 20 mins to spin a wheel to get some gifts but a lady said if you don’t have a golden ticket come back tomorrow

I was there for international auto show. Nice place. Plenty of space, good arrangement, ceiling is so high that auto makers can have a lot of fun with their decorations. There is a test drive area for Jeep and rav4. But someone told me that you have to wait for 3 hours for it. I decided to have some pictures only. Not a lot of high end cars. I guess they are not very interested in this kind of public auto shows. Anyway, I got information that I need. But you should have some research at first if you are interested in buying specific cars.

If there's any place to hold a huge convention, it's the Jacob Javitz Center in Manhattan. One such event that always gets its biggest audience is the New York Comic Con that takes place every October, where fans of all ages get to dress up as their favorite characters, get to meet special guests, & so much more. Only a place like the Jacob Javitz can hold it all!

Jacob Habits center is definitely the place to go when u have large events. They even have a conveyant Starbucks inside the building so u can get your favorite coffee before your event. My only problem is that it's quite a walk from the nearest subway, at least 3 or 4 city blocks from the 34th Street train station. I definitely don't recommend anyone to drive there, parking is near impossible and a parking lot near by cost at least $40 to $60. You can use an Uber from the train station or for those who want to drive get an Uber from a reasonable or free parking area.

This convention center is like a small city within the city. The location is a bit out of the way, but that makes sense considering the size of the place. Every time I have been here it has been very clean and even when it’s packed there are spaces to get away from the crowds. If you need a quieter space to get away from the crowds and regroup I suggest going down to the halls near the food court, but not quite into the food court. They are close to a restroom, much quieter, and even though there are a lot of people you can find a spot where you aren’t right next to anyone.

I love the NY Auto Show. I go every year, and some years 2x. I am generally there for 8 hours the first day I go, and 3 hours or so the 2nd time. This year (2019), Subaru wins the display, in my opinion, hands down. Their vehicles were in a floor space that looked like a national park.

Comic Con, NY car show are the times I visit this place, it is nice, bathrooms are outdated and the food is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy overpriced, did I say expensive food? You can step out and eat somewhere else. 15 minutes walk from the Port Authority bus terminal, and 8 to the ferry, don't drive unless you love traffic and pay no less than $40 for parking. Yes I'm a cheapo but is my hard earn money lol.

One of the best convention spaces... Very bright, airy, and spacious. Came here for the NY Auto Show and was able to see all the exhibits easily. Only challenge is the separation of the floors... There are different entrances for different levels, so it takes a little time to get familiar with the layout. Otherwise, a grand space for commercial conventions.

Open and spacious. I've only every gone for conventions, and a graduation. Plenty of facilities, for, bathrooms, etc. I went for comic Con and so many people can fit etc. Good cell signal even in the lower levels. I will recommend hosting conventions at this location.

A lot of different things can be held here. The spaces are wide and tall. I've been here for a comic convention and I've witnessed a bar exam happening here, too. It's occasionally used as a set as well. The space looks neat and has an appearance of a corporate headquarters. The glass windows pouring light all over the lobby is a pretty sight. (You can actually also see raindrops directly falling from above, which is cool.)

A lot of fun when they are doing the auto convention. Only 18 dollars admission and you can also visit the honeycomb staircase on the same trip. Huge layout you need an entire day to see everything.

This convention center is beautiful. I cant speak to specific cons or how crowded they get and thus make things difficult to navigate. But the location of javits is incredibly convenient, its huge, and very well put together, and even with 100k people the temperature is fine. The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is the wifi straight up doesn't work and in most areas you cant really get phone signal.

This is a big convention center, but not so big it is easy to get lost in. It is easier to get in and out of, and find places to eat and go to the bathroom and have meeting spaces in this convention center. I have been to other convention centers and they must co-design them with prison architects and labyrinth makers to make it impossible to get out of. Great design and lay out and pretty good services are offered.

Attended NYCC comic con 2019 annually. This glass convention is huge and massively adding another extension to an already mega complex. I've been to auto shows and conventions in this place and with the new Hudson yard 7 train station it's just a hop skip and jump away in terms of assessability.

The spaces are great and very spacious. Always clean the bathrooms are very well taken care of. My only issue are the food vendors. Not sure of they belong to Jacob Javits center or if they are independently hired for events that I've attended but they are just sooo rude at least the food vendors are not coffee or drink stations of that nature. Also optuons of food at events are very limited and I barely get to eat anything because food options are too spicy, or sandwiches are made with complex ingredients nothing ever simple like ham amd cheese sandwiches. Anywho, overall I've never had a bad time at Jacob Javits for events.

Great place for trade conventions. The only exhibition hall of this size in the region that I know of. Very popular place for top trade exhibitions. There's always something going on year around, some public most are not (closed trade shows). Obviously, your experience will vary depending on what conference you are here for, I highly recommend taking either a taxi or bus from Grand Central or Penn Station.

Somewhat nice but I felt like the workers are too concentrated on fixing the clothes rather helping their customers. Their was a last pair of sneakers that my 5 year old daughter wanted and it was at full price with some dark glue Mark's on one of the pair and they were not offering a discount being that it was the last pair for school. Therefore, I paid the full price.

Great place for conventions. Can host about 5 or more events at once.. outside they have street vendors. Nothing impressive but it gives the place a-hood look. Other than that the company I work for hosted an event there. The place was packed.. beautiful haired women looking for some great hair and skin products as well make up goods... nice ambience, music and most of all the place has a great amount of security guards all over. You would definitely would love to come here

This place is one of the biggest expos I have seen. It has all the amenities, including eateries and coffee. It's just that the toilets are less in number, so there is a queue even for that, lol. One star minus for that. Location is awesome too.

I go to auto show almost every year. I didn't make it last year do I am not sure when it happened but the food court has tanked in quality. There used to be a variety of food to choose from which seemed to have ended up to making these over priced sad looking hamburgers and chicken sandwichs which make road kill appetizing. This lower level they now they have a 2 floor food court with Asian cuisine and a place that makes nachos and small deli which is decent and a place serves the same trash as the lower level. For future visits I will now fill up on food carts food before I enter because they trap you in there to buy that trash

Went for Comic Con! Great vendors and appearances; however, the place was really really crowded. I am shocked they still had people buy more badges. I feel like they had enough space to space out the vendors (since they do have multiple levels). Food options and prices were typical. Location is a good spot (took the subway) and heard parking isn't so bad around the area.

Very spacious and glass like place. Looks like some giant took a bunch of stainless steel straws and window panels and threw them together into the convention center for little people. It does give you an awe inspiring feeling when you look at huge posters and all. Definitely come by!

Great space to hold a convention, we went for Drag Con '18 and layout was really good. Could be a little too many skylights as it an heat up in there like a greenhouse and Starbucks line ALWAYS long when you need it (not the best starbucks I've been to either) and other food options available are meh. Aside from that hopefully your convention overshadows that ours did! Hotels nearby and close to times square (if you don't mind walking) but metro a bit far and not used much.

I went to BookCon here last weekend and it was a very enjoyable experience. The center is enormous, well lit, and accommodates large crowds of people comfortably. There is a Starbucks inside, which was really convenient since I arrived at my event in the morning pre-coffee. Beautiful modern architecture and overall pleasant atmosphere.

Visited for the NY International Auto Show. Great venue and excellent exhibit by the different auto companies. The staff that I encountered were friendly for the most part. I just felt that the one security guard I encountered when I initially entered was snotty. I know she was doing her job but wish she could have been more professional but otherwise I enjoyed my visit.

Went to the NY comic con. This is a great place to host it. Location was central, parking was plenty, and staff was accommodating.

Grestest time of the year besides Christmas lol. All the Love for movies, animation, comics, previews, costumes, merchandise all packed in one.... And I mean PACKED!!! If you love comics like I do then this is what we wait for!!! Almost anything and everything you can think of! Comic Con 2019. So much to see this is just 5% of what this place has to offer. Got to be there to actually understand the dynamic of the Event!

Went there for NYCC and the service was great, someone always there to help with anything. A lot of security so I felt safe and really clean facilities with staff constantly cleaning everything

It's a conversation center. Depending on what you are doing there a show might be huge or just a small area. They are adding on so some of the outside is a mess. I like to come in from NJ via the ferries at International Harbor. Drops you off at the back end of Javits and all you need to do is walk a block to the entrance. Funny that the Javits Center doesn't provide a entrance from the back side to make it more accessible to people attending a conference. Hey do a number on you when you buy food and beverages, not surprising. Anyways good place for a conference, but nothing special. Once you have been to one of these places it gets old fast.

I went for comic con. It's really nice and big, and there's a lot of rooms you can go into. There's a cafeteria, some small rooms, a bunch of big rooms, a bunch of bathrooms, a bathroom for people who are transgender or no gender, ect. I really like it, though I don't really like the food from the cafeteria. The chicken tenders are ok, but I really didn't like the burgers.

I've been here for Comic Con mainly but it's a very nice building outside and inside. The building hosts different events like Comic Con and a car show every year which is very popular. The place is massive, there's multiple floors and all are very wide and roomy so if you're someone that has the money and you need to host an event in NYC the Javits Center is the place to do it.

My family go to Comic Con every year here in October. If you go, wear comfortable shoes because you will do a lot of walking. The Convention Center is really nice but if you want to eat I suggest eating at the food trucks outside, the food in center is way overpriced and the lines were very long. Also take public transportation to get there it's way easier than driving in. :)

Need more bathrooms and places to sit. Every year at NYCC the bathrooms are a usually a very long wait and it seems there is a shortage of stalls in the women's rooms. There is also no place to sit and eat your food because in addition to the long lines, it's almost impossible to find an empty table or chair. I heard they're expanding. I hope they put it bigger bathrooms with more stalls for women. Please make this happen.

Circle of Sisters was awesome. Loved all the talents, the Exonerated 5, Yolanda Adams, Regina Belle, Power's cast, Jeff Redd, and the Gospel Concert. There were more. Awesome!

New York's big, heavy hitter convention center. An impressive glass structure immediately sets it apart from other convention centers. The location is beyond excellent, it's central to just about everything in Midtown Manhattan and just a couple blocks walk from Penn Station.

Always a pleasure in coming here for the international auto show. Went during a weekday when there wasn't a bug crowd. Very nice to see all the new cars for the upcoming year, some concept cars, old school cars and and interactive games. Will plan on coming back next year for 2020.

This place is massive. I was truly impressed by the building. It's modern and very accommodating to large crowds. That said, the architecture is the coolest thing here. I don't know how this thing even stays standing. It's incredibly open inside. The logistics keeping this thing aloft are impressive.
