My entire experience has been amazing. I feel like I need an event just to have to go and buy another evening gown. When I went in with my sister to find my wedding dress I was not too excited to shop I honestly was just going to go the simple route. Yet my sister and the Fine woman of Davids bridal were not having it. They helped me find a dress that made my eyes sweaty. Trish treated me like a sister from every appointment for fittings to walking out the final time with my wedding dress. I encourage anyone to go in and look they will find something in your budget that will help make that one day we all look forward to so sweet! Roicelynn was amazing! She helped with my bridal party and my bridal consultant. Such a sweetheart. Highly recommend her!! Only disappointment I had was the inventory and David’s Bridal not having sizes for ALL body types in bridesmaids dresses. And the few bigger sizes they had were so disappointing with the styles.. my girls were not very happy and neither was I. I’m giving 4 stars for the excellent care we received and one less star due to the lack of sizes in bridesmaids dresses

Even though my wedding isn't until next year, I was able to find a dress I loved on sale. My consultant was helpful and nice. I just would like to see brides to be have more one on one attention. One consultant for 3-4 brides at one time isn't fair. I wish I was measured before ordering my dress, rather than my consultant guessing as to which size I was. Resulting in ordering the incorrect size, having to return that dress and re-ordering another dress that fit correctly.

I walked in today during a sale they were having. There were 2 other customers momentarily (1 that walked in ahead of me). Sales associates everywhere, many of which noticed that my mother, my daughter, and I were obviously shopping and yet not a single one stopped to ask us if we needed assistance or even a simple hello! Honestly! There were three of us and not a single one of us got a smile or a hello the entire time we were there. I pulled three dresses, took them to the dressing room myself, my mother and daughter zipped me up, we took pictures, and then put them back on the rack. We ended up buying them online and sent our money elsewhere. This store and it's awful service didn't deserve our money, our time, and no sales associate deserved any commission. Today was supposed to be a fun and great experience and your snotty sales associates ruined it for this bride to be. Shame on you! We travelled 200 miles to shop in Albuquerque for dresses and I ashamed to say I stopped there. Walmart greeters do a better job at greeting customers and making the people feel welcome than the ladies at this David's Bridal did. This was truly a wow moment today!!

Very nice ladyhelping is out during our appointment. A bit disappointed that the 9ne dress my daughter picked from online wasn't in stock in a close enough size for her to even try it on. Then the appointment was for an hour and a half, but an hour in we were told they usually only try on 5 dresses so we were done. Would have liked to try on a few more since we had time left.

Amazing! My fiancé and I came here on a whim, not expecting much to be honest. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the door and the ladies at the front counter where so nice. We got the pleasure of working with Jennifer, there are no words to express on just how great she was. My fiancé and I were nervous and a little sad that our family couldn’t be there and be part of this special moment. But Jennifer just made our time there just as special. She took the time to really listen to what we were looking for in a dress. Our goal was to find a dress for $500. And she was on it! So determined to find THE dress with in our goal even though we had said we could go higher if it meant finding THE dress. This really meant a lot to us because it showed us that it wasn’t about making a bigger sale. Well, my fiancé found her dress! Because of the great experience we had with Jennifer I requested for her to be my stylist as well for my dress search. She was just as amazing if not even more. I don’t really show emotion and I’m such an over thinker. But she crushed it. Thank you girly your exactly what we needed!! Funny, charming, patient, kind and a very good listener.

I hate to even give this place a one star. I get married next Saturday and FINALLY, 6 days out they are done with my dress. Mind you I ordered it a year ago and was absolutely diligent on my end. They have caused nothing but problems for my bridesmaids and I’ve left in tears every time I’ve gone in. David’s Bridal has absolutely been the worst part of all my wedding planning. They continuously treated me poorly and couldn’t care less if they had messed up 4 times previous. They also don’t mention that if you buy online, you can only deal with DB online. Online and in store are two different entities which was never disclosed. They also fail to mention all the stuff they force you to buy, if you need to return anything returned, guess what? Too bad!! They don’t do returns but will give you store credit.. i hope I can spare women from going here. Go to a nice wedding boutique, this city has places that will treat you wonderfully and will work hard to make you happy! DONT GO TO DAVIDS BRIDAL IN ABQ

I have no idea why time and time again I give this place any sort of chance. These women have no idea what the word customer service means. I schedule and apt from 6-7:30 for three of my bridesmaids. Our original consultat was pleasant and tried to be informative but I got the impression she was new and didn’t know many of our questions. Which didn’t even matter because we only had her for 20 minutes because it was the end of her shift. So my question is why in the world would you give someone an hour an a half apt to a consultant who is going to leave in the middle of an apt?? The next “consultant” we got was the typical David’s Bridal experience person. Rude, unfriendly, not helpful, and basically had an attitude about every question we had for her. We had to page her multiple times because she wasn’t bringing us dresses anymore or even back in the room to help us. At 7:10 we were walking out the door because we no longer had any sort of help whatsoever. It’s so disappointing that this is their service provided in this type of business.

my prior experience with this store when purchasing a bridesmaid dress was awful. they were disorganized and unfriendly. but this past week, december of 2018, my mind was changed. we were assisted by andrea and she went as far as to actually measure us for our dresses (this was not done at my previous appointments in 2016). andrea made sure that every lady was measured and sized appropriately. she was friendly and easy to work with. we really appreciated her.

Jennika was patient and went with my changes without an issue. She was efficient while measuring and made me feel perfectly comfortable getting into and out of dresses. She listened to me and my party’s comments and was able to meet my needs without fail. The store is clean, it smells good, the music isn’t too loud. The whole experience was everything I could have asked for.

The receptionist was very friendly and professional. The girl who did my measurements was nice as well, however I feel like more training on taking measurements would be helpful. I was told I was in between sizes 10-12. There was not a 10 to try on so she brought me the 12 and it was way too big on me. I was then told ordering the larger size and taking it in would be best, I completely understand that logic however this dress was way too big for even that. It honestly made me feel pretty uncomfortable. She did bring a size 8 and it fit great. Overall it was a nice appointment, again maybe just more training on measurements.

I had a 90 minute appointment booked for my bridal party and I (2 bridesmaids and the mother of the bride). We went to see what styles of dresses were available for my maids and mom, along with doing a test of some different height shoes for my dress. Our stylist, Victoria, was very patient with us as we pulled about a dozen dresses for my maids to try on. Victoria even went and found several different styles for everyone to try on and was SUPER helpful. All told we spent just over 2 hours there today, keeping Victoria longer than she was scheduled for. Everyone has been extremely helpful every time I’ve been in to the shop. Way to go David’s Bridal!!

I made an appointment about 2 weeks ago. When myself and my bridal party showed up, it was crazy busy. We were there to shop for a wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. The woman that helped us, Brianna, was amazing!!!! She was so patient, kind and helpful. She even held my friend’s baby while she tried on bridesmaid dresses! If it wasn’t for the fact that the store was so crowded, i would give them 5 stars! Brianna helped me find my dream dress, and helped my bridesmaids find some pretty ones!

I'd first like to say appointments are required at almost every bridal shop. So please don't base your decision off of others reviews that had a bad experience because they didn't have an appointment. Now that we have that out of the way... David's Bridal has been redeemed! I'm an event planner in Albuquerque and planned weddings for 8 out of the 11 years I've been planning events. I previously had not so good experiences at David's and always suggested other bridal shops in town. My niece has been looking for a wedding dress as she's getting married in August 2019 and has been unsuccessfull at other shops in town. I cringed when I suggested she make an appointment with them and was nervous going in for the appointment this past weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff and customer service we were provided. My niece made her appointment online and they were unable to find it. They said it would be no problem and that someone would be with us shortly. They told us to go ahead and look around and see if she found any dresses she'd like to try on. A few moments later we were greeted by Jennifer and she spoke with my niece about her wedding, budget and dress styles she liked. She also gave my niece the option of picking out her own dresses to try on, or she could pick dresses based on what ny niece told her. My niece decided she'd still like to pick out her own dresses and Jennifer checked on us frequently to see if we needed help or had questions. The dressing room area was a little messy but it was Saturday and there were several other large groups trying on dresses. She did ensure my niece's dressing room was tidy before having her enter. Jennifer was amazing, kind and patient. What else could you ask for!? She read my nieces body language and knew she really loved the first dress she tried on, so she suggested she try it back on before trying on any of the others. That was definitely the one and she made her decision. I'm so thankful to Jennifer and all of the staff we came in contact with for helping us. I'm now happy to suggest David's to others. Keep up the amazing customer service!

I was very pregnant when I came in for my bride’s maid’s dress and they were so helpful and kind. We got the right size that only needed minor alterations! I was very worried that it would be awkward or hard to shop for my dress when I was so pregnant but they were kind and understanding and absolutely helpful every second that I was in the shop. Although the lady helping us with our dresses was amazing, it took forever to get someone to help us. Simply unprofessional. I made an appointment for 1:30-3:00. Showed up at 1:25, signed in and checked in. I was told that a bride was running over but someone would be with me shortly. At first no big deal. But 30 minutes later I had to go to the front again and request for assistance. When I got to the front it was a different lady who told me even though I’d signed in I had not been checked in online and they didn’t know who was suppose to help me. So again waiting for another 15 mins for them to finally find someone to help. By that time it was 2:15 and my bridesmaids got to try on the dresses. With 2 flower girls and 4 bridesmaids and two dressing rooms we managed to be out of there by 3:05. I mean why make an appointment in the first place my appointment isn’t going to be kept by the store. If a different shop carried the color of dress I wanted my girls to wear I would of went some where else.

Really helpful staff. For anyone looking for a bridal dress, I recommend that you create an “event” online so they can process your order quickly. They will also ask you to sign in when you arrive. I didn’t realize you needed an appointment to use the dressing rooms but thankfully I was there mid week when it wasn’t very busy, so I encourage you to make an appointment if you plan on dropping in during the weekend even if it’s just to look around.

Staff was really helpful when it came to booking an appointment. But I ended up pulling all bridesmaid dresses and thankfully brought a friend with to help me because when I was actually putting them on I had zero help. Also when I was trying to update the dress in the brides record the assistant helping me actually had me stand there mid convo while she updated something with another worker. In fact she wasn’t even the one who helped me to a room. I don’t mind waiting but she had not helped me at all and then didn’t seem to actually care. More clients than staff. Otherwise the women I interacted with who worked there were friendly.

My experience with Royclyn trying on dresses was fantastic and she was wonderful! I tried on regular dresses and then ordered a petite as advised by the alterations specialist with assurance from her that it would not change the fit, just the length. That didn’t seem right to me as I have worn petite sizes my whole life, but they were the specialists so I listened. When the dress showed up the fit was so different we ended up ordering a new dress in a smaller size because the alterations would have been too extensive. No harm, just inconvenient and they handled the issue promptly. I still opted to have my alterations done elsewhere because of this, and my dress ended up visually perfect! My wedding was last weekend. I put my dress on and with one bend the zipper pulled away from the fabric, the zipper didn’t break... the stitching was weak and the zipper simply pulled away from the dress. I walked down the isle 20 minutes late with a visibly safety pinned dress. As the night went on it ripped further an further. It didn’t ruin my night, for me it was an inconvenience and probably ruined some pictures with the sleeves falling off my shoulders because of the loosening back throughout the night as it continued to rip...but for many brides it could have. I would expect a dress of that price could withstand longer than a few hours. Truly disappointed in the dress itself. Please note the alterations that were done by an outside source had nothing to do with the zipper or that area of the dress.

She was willing to go the extra mile if I needed a gown sent to the store. She listened to what I was looking for, and found a dress that far exceeded my expectations! I had picked up my dress, which seems to have been poorly made, it has strings hanging out all over the place and a hole in the pocket and for $800 I expected to get what I paid for and this was not it. I went back for alterations, the woman that would've been doing my alterations was just flat out awful, she was rude and did not listen to me whatsoever, I told her I needed a size 36 D corset, she brought me the wrong size twice and then had the audacity to ask me if I was a size 36 B, after her being rude and whining about her job for 5 minutes, I got dressed and put my dress away then told her to have a good day and I left. I went next door to dillards and tried on a size 36 D corset it fit perfectly. After poorly making my dress and just horrible customer service from the alterations department, That will be the last time they recieve my business. I had an amazing experience with the woman who helped me pick out my dress and the manager always seemed to be in a great positive mood. But every other aspect of this experience was horrible and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I had a great experience at the Uptown location! I actually made my appointment earlier on the same day, and was happily surprised that I would be able to get in! I really wasn’t sure what I was looking for, and actually thought I didn’t want a “wedding” dress for my non-traditional elopement/wedding celebration, but I figured I should go see what I thought about the options. I’m so glad I did! Maya was my consultant and she was SO helpful and fun. In fact, every staff member went out of their way to talk to me, to see if I needed any help, and to offer opinions (without any uncomfortable pressure!). I felt so at ease throughout my entire appointment. I didn’t end up picking a dress that day, but it was such a helpful experience in terms of helping me figure out what I wanted. And, again, really loudly for the people in the back: Maya was *so* amazing and helpful and kind. I highly recommend asking for her when you make your appointment.

The lady helping us was extremely rude from the moment she walked up to us. We wanted to try on short dresses that David’s recently posted on insta they only had 2 of the styles but she informed me they could measure my bridesmaids and just order them. I made the appointment to see the dresses not order them blindly. She was also helping another party and seemed overwhelmed by that. We were done in about 10-15 min so I asked if I could try on a couple dresses I was informed she only did bridal party and “we look busy so you probably won’t be able to, but you can make an appointment”. Mind you I already had the style numbers I wanted to try. I took my business elsewhere!

Just to preface this, I have a lot to say because no bride should have to have an experience like this when getting her wedding dress. To start, purchasing my dress here was fine (not great)... other than the fact that the staff continually called me by my bridesmaid's name every time I was contacted, even though I corrected them multiple times. Anyway, my issues arrived when it came time for alterations. My first appointment was with Carol and she was FANTASTIC. We had a whole plan set for my alterations. Then, Carol got sick and was out (I hope she's feeling better) and that's when things started to go wrong. First, my pick up date was pushed a week out from the original date because the alterations department was short handed and behind schedule. Not a big deal, just annoying. Then it comes time to pick up my dress... not all of the alterations had been done and they were supposed to save the lace that they cut off my dress, for sentimental purposes, and that didn't happen. I'm assuming all of this happened because Carol was out and didn't work on my dress like planned and things weren't communicated properly. In the big scheme of things none of this was a huge deal, I got my dress the next day with the completed alterations. However, when you're spending well over $1500 with a company and sending them other business over the course of a year (bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dress, etc.), I would expect a much higher level of customer service and attention to detail from every department (especially for the BRIDE). I just felt that this was a very mediocre experience and had Carol in alterations not gotten sick, things might have been different for me. However, one person should not make or break a customer's experience. I will NOT be recommending David's Bridal in Albuquerque to any friends that are soon-to-be brides or friends looking for formal wear. I will be sharing this review on as many outlets as I can think of to help other brides. To Carol, you should open your own alterations company, because you are incredible.

The price was fair. The customer service was lacking. Always short and rushed at the check in. The manager, Julie (ABQ) location is horrible, absolutely no interpersonal skills. I have no idea who thought she was manager/ customer service worthy. The seamstress/ alteration was a very good experience, especially the woman that helped us when we picked up the dress; she was not the seamstress that altered the dress. The person that we worked with when picking out the dress was friendly as well, and had wonderful suggestions. I am not certain I would shop there again or recommend it but for the price.

I found my wedding dress and I absolutely loved it, but only because I found it on my own. My stylist was ten minutes late and took her sweet time getting me set up. After an hour I had only tried on one dress and when I had questions, she wasn’t very helpful at answering them. The other stylist had to interfere and help me get my questions answered. Eventually that other stylist left and I was back with my own stylist. She brought me another set of dresses which were definitely what I had not asked for. When I found a style I liked, she brought me the same three dresses that she was bringing to everyone else. So I redressed myself and went looking on my own. I found one and I absolutely loved it. At that point my stylist had told me she was done with me and my time was up. Which was in a very rude tone. But I continued to try on more anyway. I ended up picking the one I had found on my own and I was so happy with what I had. But my stylist was really no help and a huge waste of my time. She stressed me out and I was about to cry at some points, however my dress is gorgeous and I can’t wait to get married in it. Customer service sucked but they have some super nice dresses.
