Just when we thought we had everything under control, 6 months before our wedding, we realized we needed help. At the time, my fiancé and I discussed looking for a wedding planner but we had no idea where to start looking. I searched online and looked through a lot of photos when I came across the K. Barner Events website. I looked through their photos and read through all the information from past events and I loved everything. I discussed what I found with my then fiancé and we both agreed to book a free consultation with K. Barner Events. The day arrived to meet Kisha from K. Barner Events to get more information. We were nervous and didn't know what to expect but we were willing to give it a try even though my fiancé was not 100% sold. We sat with Kisha and from the start she made us feel comfortable. We began to talk about what we were looking for and our budget all the while laughing and getting to know each other. Once we went through all the information with Kisha, we were able to take it home a discuss everything. We then setup another meeting with Kisha to let her know that we were moving forward with her and her team but at the second meeting I brought my parents who were completely against having a wedding planner. My mom was not convinced that we needed to spend more money aside from the wedding itself but she jumped onboard, with hesitation. Once we were onboard as well as my parents, we started to work with K. Barner Events. I was sent a questionnaire and ask Kisha to book most of our vendor appointments in the same week such as cake tasting, DJ, photographers and flowers which she did. We were able to get a lot done in that week due to our work schedules. After we picked all of our vendors and decided on all the decorations we were sent a check list every week as a reminder of things we needed to get completed, which was amazing and super helpful to us. I was able to get a lot done and keep my sanity...lol Our wedding day has arrived and the KBE team were at my parents home bright, early and ready to get the show on the road, literally! We we planned to start in Brooklyn, drive to a landmark carousel for photos, then drive to the event space. During the day it started to rain and Kisha and her team were able to think fast, change around our plans and avoid any stress for me. They were also able to keep myself and my wedding party right on schedule. There was a moment where it started to rain really badly and the carousel plan was out of the question but they were able to think fast an search for a second site which was a graffiti wall the said "YES". At the time they weren't sure if it was still there but they went on the hunt for it and found it. We were able to take our "first look" photos and video, which came out beautifully and no one noticed how bad the weather was. Overall, the KBE team did an amazing job handling our wedding. They even made my mom and new husband, true believers that by choosing them we made the best decision. My guests all said that they have never seen a wedding so beautiful in their life and I agree. Thank you K. Barner Events for making our day a day to remember and a day we can never forget. We loved every moment and didn't miss a thing.

Kisha and her team did a beautiful job for our wedding! They made our lives much easier. Since we are business owners, it would of been impossible to plan a whole wedding by ourselves. I really don't know how any bride can do it by themselves! Kisha not only made our dream wedding come true but made it a million times better. We were able to enjoy the most important day of our lives and have fun because of Kisha and her team. I would highly recommend K. Barner Events for any type of event; they were the best from day one to the day of my wedding. To walk in our venue room and see how incredible it looked was amazing and unforgettable. The way they got to know me and my husband's tastes and incorporate every detail about us into our wedding was amazing! Kisha and her team are definitely planning all our upcoming events in the future. We are so thankful to them forever and they are always going to be a big part of the most important day of our lives. I truly don't know where to begin! From the moment we met, KB handled our wedding with the most patience and grace I've ever seen! She's resourceful, creative, and fierce. I love how she challenges clients & vendors to think outside the box and isn't afraid to push boundaries. Kisha was always communicating with us, even during our "lull" to check in and make sure we were tracking; she went above and beyond to help with things she technically wasn't hired to help with! On the day of our wedding, KB and her team were fairy godmothers. The way they transformed the venue and handled all tasks with ease was like...magic LOL! Belinda is the kindest and most supportive person - she also made sure we had fun! I'm so glad we had her in our bridal suite! Oh, and to top it off, while the rest of her partied she helped pack up important items so that I wouldn't forget anything. Upon entering the ballroom, I damn near had a heart attack - there were no words... I just cried!! KB truly made my dreams a reality and we are forever grateful for her and her entire crew - including Team Barner! I have no idea where we would've been w/o KB! You will not regret hiring her, she's truly a gem!

I seriously don't know how people can plan weddings without a planner. Sure it's do-able. But I was definitely the type of person that don't want my friends and family lifting a finger and scrambling to get centerpieces, napkins and flowers set up during the big day. I always thought I was very organized well-prepared, but everything just hit me on the last couple of months before the wedding. Luckily we found Kisha so our big day flowed FLAWLESSLY! Meeting Kisha for the first time was just fabulous! She was very professional, friendly, and had a good sense of humor. My husband and I were more drawn to vendors that approached us in on personal level and Kisha was just like that! She listened to what we wanted, she asked all the right questions, and gave us such good advice with our wedding. There were so many moments during the planning when she made me realize different things we would've easily missed. The last month, things just got crazy for us but Kisha was there all the way. She answered my texts, emails, and calls immediately, and made sure we were right on track with our planning. Day, night, or dawn, I was impressed that she would always respond back so quickly! Our wedding day was seriously the BEST DAY EVER. And Kisha and her fabulous assistant, Belinda, help make that happen. I especially liked how Kisha waited for the right moment to start the ceremony so late-comers won't see me in my dress while walking from the limo to the church. Belinda stayed with me and our bridal party in the cold rain. She held up my big gown so it won't get wet while holding an umbrella on top of my head as I took pictures. Our reception was just flawless, even looked better than what we anticipated. Two of our aunts were sick that night and they helped them up to our bridal suite and gave them Tums or tea, checking on them every now and then! Nurse-wedding-planners much? =) These girls can do it all. We would highly recommend them =)

Our wedding day was seriously the best day ever because of Kisha and her wonderful team! When we first met Kisha it wasn’t hard to make the decision to choose her to help in planning our wedding day. She is so sweet, easy to talk to, passionate about her work, and ORGANIZED! My husband and I got married at Liberty House in Jersey City, NJ. Kisha and her team transformed the venue and brought our dream of a fairytale wedding to life! We can be an indecisive couple but with the help of Kisha we were able to get through wedding planning with little stress and actually enjoy the experience. Kisha and her awesome assistant Belinda helped with all vendors, made to-do lists, set reminders, and helped us keep track of our budget. We told Kisha what we wanted and she gave us so much more! One thing I must say about K. Barner Events is that you must TRUST in their vision. You will not regret it! They know what they are doing! Months later we still have family, friends, and even people who weren’t at the wedding talking and raving about our wedding day!
