Joan and the 6 Degrees of Celebration team were beyond amazing for our NYC wedding. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The team was on top of every detail during the wedding weekend, and could not have been more helpful when it came to timelines and managing the vendor contracts. Having Joan involved in our wedding planning made the entire process infinitely easier, and made the big day go as smoothly as it could. Joan's calm demeanour also helped to alleviate the inevitable stress that comes with such a stressful process. We cannot thank 6 Degrees of Celebration enough for all of the hard work that went into our wedding! They are amazing.

Joan of 6 Degrees of Celebration was the most wonderful partner to work with in planning our wedding. At the start of the planning process, Joan took great care to get to know me and my taste. I felt very heard and understood. This allowed her to recommend our incredible vendors, design our wedding, and make so many other suggestions that were spot on. Our wedding was so perfectly “us” and I have Joan to thank for that. One of Joan’s qualities I most appreciate is her communication style. Joan is direct. For every decision, she laid out all the options clearly and gave me all the details I wanted. This helped me make quick choices. Joan is also very accessible and responsive. Whether it was over email, calls, or texts, I never had to follow up with her. Many of our calls were scheduled day-of or within a few days. She took such good care of me that I felt like I was her only client. Because we welcomed a large number of guests and we chose not to have a traditional sit-down dinner, a number of challenges arose that required extra planning and management. Joan managed my expectations and handled all of these challenges skillfully. She approaches situations logically, but is also very flexible. I felt more like a partner in the planning process because she always explored my ideas. Joan participated in many vendor meetings which was unexpected and so helpful. For our meetings, she was always punctual and prepared, making the planning process very efficient. The day of our wedding was seamless. Because Joan and her team were so well prepared and organized, I was able to relax. Our timeline was on point the entire night - all thanks to their incredible coordination. They are consummate professionals and it was a pleasure spending the day with them. I truly felt how invested Joan was in the planning and execution of the wedding. It’s an understatement to say I would jump at the chance to work with her again on a future event.

I cannot thank Joan at 6 Degrees of Celebration enough! I'm a fairly organized person and when I first started the planning process, I swore that I did not need a wedding planner..boy was I wrong! Thankfully Joan was available to step in and she made the whole process seamless and stress-free. Joan took care of things that I didn't even realize needed taking care of! She was on top of every detail from the time we started working together until the last people (my husband and I) got on the bus to leave the wedding venue (and then even the day after!), and she made sure we never felt overwhelmed the entire time. She had our back if vendors were dropping the ball and she was honest with us when asked for opinions or advice.
