I would give this place a one star however their desserts are pretty decent. The service however was horrible as was the food. I went here for lunch with my mother for my birthday. Our waitress took over ten minutes just to bring us menus, and the place was not even that busy. We ordered chips, two cups of Mac-and-cheese, and a salad. The chips were brought out first and were extremely soggy, they were just covered in oil, not crisp at all. Then the salad came out along with one Mac-and-cheese. She never rang in the second Mac-and-cheese. In addition she didn't bring out silverware. We politely reminded her that we had ordered two Mac-and-cheese's and that we needed silverware. The second Mac-and-cheese finally came (and was only have the size of the first) and we still didn't have silverware, reminding her again. She wandered past our table several times before finally bringing us the silverware. The Mac-and-cheese to simply put was awful. The best way to describe it would be to say that whoever made it boiled the noodles, drained the water, forgot about the noodles, poured a ton of oil on it to try and break it up, the threw some shredded cheese on as an afterthought but the noodles were too cold to melt it. The salad was somewhat strange (I've never seen dark meat used on a chopped chicken salad, and the meat was warm) but not horrible. The salad dressing was supposed to be a lime vinaigrette but tasted mostly oily with a hint of lime. The waitress never came to check how our food was. When she cleared the table she didn't even ask about the macaroni and when we tried to mention it she walked off. We had also ordered a piece of their coconut cream pie. The waitress brought the check and a to go box for the pie but no pie. About 15 min after the check and empty box came we finally got the pie. Overall, the meal was bad and the service was worse. The portion sizes are good however and they do a great job at making pies and cakes and pastries. I do not recommend going for a meal, just dessert.
Very nice atmosphere, Delicious food and wonderful service!
Great food, friendly staff, very reasonable prices!
Two words. Bottomless mimosas! Super cute decorations inside with great homemade food to pair. Don't be in a hurry when you come here because their quality takes time
great space, a bit funky but very comfortable and delicious fare.
The coffee was good, but didn't try the food. Service was a bit slow.
'It's okay' = 3 Stars. Pricey. Definitely a tourist place. Open/Trendy. Soup was good but not raving. They need to up their kitchen game.
I stopped in on my way up to Bridger Bowl and was expecting more of a market, grab and go feel. They had breakfast burritos and muffins, but they're a sit down place apparently.
Worked there for one shift while working two other jobs, had to leave due to a death in the family. Took over 3 months to get my paycheck and even then it was sent to PayPal after 2 "checks" were sent to me that never came. Cut to November and I receive a check in the mail after I was done working there back in August. I cashed said check and the owner put a stop on it. Why the hell would you send a check in NOVEMBER just to cancel it. The cooking area was disorganized and filthy, and the owner doesn't seem to know how to run a business, and I'm sincerely hoping she gets her act together because I will not be suggesting employment to anyone in the Bozeman area. Very, very disappointed in the way I was treated.
Our group was 7 people for Sunday lunch. Our impression was that they were badly understaffed with the result that the service, while cordial, was very slow. We were a full two hours in the restaurant. Also, the food was mediocre, some actually not good. This could have been the result of under-staffing since I have noted that there are a number of positive reviews. Not sure that I will try them again.
Very clean with a amazing look look inside, a great cafe with wonderful drinks for the morning. Me and my dad had breakfast here and the portions were nice and large. A great hidden away place to know about for trips to come.
Great atmosphere, with equally amazing food and coffee. Staff and owners are kind and welcoming. Definetly a favorite spot
Got the veggie melt..pretty good..good service as well!
Vintage upscale atmosphere. You can either order coffee or a whole meal. The staff are professional and courteous and the prices are fairly reasonable.
Great food, good service, and coffee cups I can appreciate.
A great new breakfast place in Bozeman. Super clean, nicely decorated, and the corned beef hash was excellent. The coffee is strong, so for once you can actually get both good coffee and a full, hot breakfast.
Just stopped by and grabbed a sandwich to go! Food is excellent and service is top notch, plus the atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing! Definitely a hot spot to checkout in Bozeman!
We love everything about Cinnamon and Sage Catering. We have had them cater events as large as a 200 person wedding down to a dinner for 10 and the food is always wonderful, planning is executed perfectly and service is great! We highly recommend Cinnamon and Sage for any and all catering needs!
Nice atmosphere, very polite service and great food, but slow to get your food to you. If you have the time its worth the wait!
Wow! Went their on the second day after they opened and they already have the whole service thing down! Not to mention it is high quality local food! Highly recommended! This place is going to be packed as soon as more people find out about it. The ambiance is very "new school Montana". Not a bad thing seeing as they pull it off wonderfully! Great food, people, service, atmosphere.
Good food, though slightly overpriced. The service was slow and less than friendly. They were more interested in their catering affair than the customers in the restaurant, so much so that we had to wait for silverware to be washed because they had taken most of it for catering. I'll try it again sometime, but not anytime soon.
If you like the "all organic hippy" vibe/food, you may like it, I'm more of a meat and potatoes girl, not an "organic goat cheese, bell pepper in everything" girl. The cappuccino tasted aweful, like foamy black coffee. Not my thing. Good took forever to come out and there weren't a lot of people.
Bit slow but good chicken sandwich and amazing Expresso
Probably my favorite breakfast in Bozeman
Great setting and food was great
A little pricey, but great cinnamon rolls and unique food options.
Good food, nice staff, be careful with the syrup its good but strong, uniques choices of coffees, there normal coffee is not to strong but not weak ether.
We just a a New Year's Brunch at Cinnamon and Sage and everything was wonderful! The food is delicious and the service was great. We always use Cinnamon and Sage for all our catering needs and now we are so excited that they will be hosting pop up events for even more opportunities to enjoy their food!
Un-Knotted offers a very modern/ rustic atmosphere. The coffee is not the best I have had, but it is ok. The pastries are amazing! The prices are normal for Bozeman. The staff could be friendlier. It serves as a great place to meet up with friends. I look forward to trying their breakfast and lunch.
Loved this place! Went with some friends to catch up and what a great experience! The design is amazing -- kind of a modern meets rustic/industrial look. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. Super nice staff!
Such a fun place for brunch. Their coffee is great, mimosas are a great deal, and their food is on point.
Lunch is good. Not in love with the breakfast
Their breakfast burrito is worth stopping in for. Nice casual space, great for a leisurely weekend breakfast or meeting up with friends.
Had biscuits with sausage gravy and eggs. Thinest , most meatless sausage gravy i ever had. I think it came from a can. Not impressed for first and last visit. Neighbors told me it wasn't that great. Should have listened.
Really cute venue. Nice lunch menu.
I went soon after opening and the service was insanely slow. We had a reservation and it still took over 2 hours to receive our order. I brushed it off and blamed it on just opening. I decided to try it again last week now that they have been open over a year and made a reservation for a brunch with a few ladies. Upon arrival they had no record of our reservation and after scrambling to come up with a table for us we again waited for 2 hours before our food arrived and multiple people at our table had to leave before it arrived or have it boxed to go because it took so long. This was very frustrating and can no longer be blamed on just opening. Food tasted good but unless they get their act together and hire more kitchen help, if that's the problem, then I will not be eating here again.
I went here in the morning with a couple others for the first time a few weeks back and had a wonderful time. The interior is very inviting with a modern, industrial look and plenty of seating without being too crowded. Our server was fantastic and friendly, checking up on us just enough but not too often, always with coffee in hand for refills. I don't drink coffee, but my partner who is a bit of a snob about it was pleasantly surprised at how good their lattes were. We all ordered a different plate and we all agreed that each one was delicious. I'm also pretty sure that the owner, a young man, personally came out and thanked us for coming in and made sure we were all doing well, even saying goodbye as we left. A very nice gesture to the patrons! 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good brunch or breakfast in the morning!
Amazing. Came for Mother's Day Brunch, will definitely be back !
